Mahofa evoke the Mugabe is infallible mentality of Muzenda - she still fails to see the tragedy of it all!

According to update by state run Herald, Mahofa said "She says before (Simon) Muzenda's death she went to visit him in hospital along with Hungwe and were told to remain united.

"We promise you in the presence of the VP is that what President Mugabe wants is what will be done in Masvingo province....understand today Kasukuwere as the commissar that whatever you bring to the province as long as it has the President's blessing you will have Masvingo province's support.”

This is the Simon Muzenda mentality, “what President Mugabe wants is what will be done”, is what has got Zimbabwe into this hell-hole. To these Zanu PF simpletons being united has become synonymous with accepting whatever Mugabe says without question. To them Mugabe is infallible!

Mugabe is not some demigod whose “wants” are infinite wisdom not to be questioned by mere mortals.

Mugabe has turned out to be a corrupt, incompetent and murderous tyrant who has brought economic ruin to the nation and has terrorized and murdered over 30 000 innocent Zimbabweans to establish and retain his de facto one party dictatorship.

After 35 years of this corrupt and tyrannical Mugabe rule the evidence of his failure are there for all to see; everything is in an advance state of rot and decay and millions of our people now live in abject poverty they cannot afford even one decent meal a day. That anyone much less someone in a position of power and authority like Minister Mahofa should still Mugabe a demigod whose “wants” are still to be blindly obeyed goes to show just Zanu PF has become a party of brainwashed morons.

Some people have resigned themselves to the corrupt, chaotic and tragic situation Mugabe has landed Zimbabwe in and have placed all their hopes on things changing for the better the day he dies. Mahofa’s utterance shows that Mugabe’s death will change nothing; Zanu PF is a party of minions who are totally blind to the tragic reality before their own eyes. The only reality they know is the infallibility of their demigod Mugabe; if he dies they will have another just as corrupt, incompetent and oppressive!

Zimbabweans must renew their resolve and determination to have the GPA reforms implemented followed by the holding of free, fair and credible elections; this is the only sure way of the country ending this political culture of elevating leaders to the level of demigods whose words and actions are never to be questioned!

Manheru declared that ZimAsset was not the big idea that would take Zimbabwe out of its decade-long economic malaise.

“(ZimAsset) is staid, dry and formulaic. It is academic, an economist’s explanation to an abscess. Very esoteric, far removed from mundane comprehension,” he charged.

“ZimAsset comes from the bureaucracy. However good it may be as a plan, as a tool of recovering a sanctions-battered economy, it cannot be the big political idea that enkindles the nation, sets it alight.”

But addressing a rally in Matebeleland South Thursday, Grace Mugabe dismissed Cha-ramba’s criticism as rogue.

“I know there are some rogue elements who tell people that ZimAsset is just a document,” she said.

“I want to assure the people of Zimbabwe today that together we’ll successfully imple-ment it. The economic blue-print has four clusters and the most important is the food security and nutrition.”

And what has Grace said or done throughout her time and money wasting meet-the-people rallies to promote ZimAsset and economic recovery? If anything all this criminal waste of resources to message her hot-air balloon ego – there is no other purpose for all these stupid rallies – is dragging the nation even deeper into the mess!

"Some will speak the truth when the time comes...I've learnt from the man I live with that when you are honest nothing weighs on your shoulders," said Grace.

Here is a man whose regime has murdered over 30 000 Zimbabweans and his wife tells us “when you are honest nothing weighs on your (his) shoulders”! So it is either that his murderous past is weighing Mugabe down and his wife is telling us the honest truth or else she is not being honest to say nothing is weighing down!

Madam, there is no need for you to speak in so tongue twisting convoluted way, we know Mugabe’s murderous past is weighing down! He has blatantly rigged past elections just to stay in power for fear he will be sitting in The Hague at the ICC the day he leaves office.

MDC supporters who still support Tsvangirai even after he sold out are not the supporters the nation should be seeking, those are the sheep who got us into this mess by supporting village idiots like Tsvangirai.

Dzamara decided to take his fight to Africa's Square, I respect him for that. I want to open the people's minds and turn them from sheep to thinking human beings. I think that is very important work and you will have to accept that I may have a point and thus let me get on with it!

Zanu PF want Harare Airport named after Mugabe.

There will be a thorough investigation into Gukurahundi and rigged elections; if Mugabe is found to have had a hand in any of these then the airport's name will be changed. No nation in its right mind would ever want anything named after a vote-rigging and murderous tyrant!

@ Patrick

Zanu PF is rotten to the core and thank God the party is imploding. The real worrying thing is the regime is imploding whilst still in power and therefore it could drag the whole nation into the abyss with it! This is why MDC should have implemented the reforms and saved us from this nightmare. Those MDC village idiots must never again be allowed to get back into power!

@ Patrick

After the rigged July 2013 elections was sure the Zimbabwe electorate was going to go into over drive in their search for an explanation why Zanu PF had once again managed to rig the elections with relative easy. They were disappointed but that was all! Most of the people do not have a clue what happened during the GNU and so they have learnt nothing regarding MDC leaders being breathtakingly corrupt, incompetent and sell-outs. So come the next elections they are just as likely to vote another lot of corrupt and incompetent leaders if not the same MDC leaders even.

Unless people wake and do something in the next year or two to end this tyrannical rule this nation will be condemned to a life of poverty and despair. The longer we fail to do something to end this nightmare the harder it is going to be to do it tomorrow.

I have to agree with you, when it comes to using our heads, we are a very lazy lot!

Villagers in the Gumbo and Rudanda areas in Zaka district are experiencing acute food shortages.

Most families say the little grain they harvested in the 2014/2015 farming season was finished by June.

Wild fruits mostly Mashuku and seasonal fruits such as mangoes have become their means of survival during the day as they save the little grain to ensure at least one hot meal a day.

But that too is fast running out and the villagers are now desperate.

We are starving in the Garden of Eden; that is the legacy of Mugabe's tyrannical rule!

Mugabe will do nothing about the worsening economic meltdown or the worsening in fighting in his party because there is nothing he can do now. Both events have now developed a momentum of their own and is just too feeble physically, mentally, morally and politically to do anything. He cannot stop corruption because he is the greatest beneficiary of corruption and therefore is powerless to stop those below him who are playing catch-up.

On the political front he cannot stop the factional wars because it is his wife who is fueling the in fighting in her desperate effort to should everyone else out of the way when she clearly has nothing to offer the nation. Everyone knows they are mediocre leaders in Zanu PF but Grace is the worst of the lot. But since Mugabe is henpecked husband he does not dare tell her to forget the dream to be the next president.

Mugabe may be ready to thrown in the towel but with Grace threatening to buy him a wheelchair even if he was to feeble to stand-up on his own two feet; he knows he is in serious trouble, he has a slave-driver for a wife.

@ Tawanda

Grace is definitely interested in becoming the next president and she has said as much herself. Last week she was telling everyone Mnangagwa and Mphoko are NOT her seniors. She did not have to say it because reading between the lines it was clear she meant “In the race for Mugabe’s successor she will not be stepping aside to allow the two to have a go.”

I do agree with you that Mugabe does not think much of “her (Grace) as a politician and thinks she is too pedestrian for such an office, even if it means it would guarantee his family much-needed protection and security in the post-Mugabe era.” What matters is he does not dare say that to her, not now!

I believe it was his doing that she has stayed out of politics all these years but she has become more assertive of late particularly in the last two years; he has certainly become the perfect profile of a henpecked husband. There has been a “bedroom coup” in State House alright as Jabulani Sibanda rightly pointed out. The war vet thug was booted out of Zanu PF because he said something that was so true it really knocked the wind out of Mugabe. It was bad enough that he has being bullied around by his wife but to have it as an acknowledged fact he made him his self-respect and pride; he has never been the same ever since.

Baby dumping Joice Mujuru was definitely Grace’s idea and she was so desperate to see it happen she even threatened to do it herself if Mugabe would not do it. It was a high stakes move and many people would say she did not get away with it because dumping Mujuru and her supporters has left Zanu PF more divided than ever.

Grace is itching to go after Mnangagwa and dump him too but even our henpecked husband is warning her that this time she will be shooting herself in the head not foot as with Mujuru.

Some people say sanctions are a feeble excuse for the country's economic mess. Others say sanctions are a brick wall the nation cannot blast a hole through or scale.

The solution is this cases as in any other similar case is for people to taken time off and learn more about the reasons given by both sides of the argument and then make their own judgment on the matter. Those who have said the sanction have stop the country getting the external funding it requires, for example, are clearly lying because the IMF, WB and other foreign donors stopped all loans to Zimbabwe in 2000 because the country was not paying its debts. The West imposed sanction in 2002; two years after the credit lines had been cut showing that blaming sanctions was just a feeble excuse.

After 15 years of blaming the country’s economic woes on sanctions it is clear that those who accepted the excuse are to blame because by now they should have been familiar with the facts not to be so easily fooled.
