“Chounorasiswa ndochiri muruoko. Chirimudumbu unorotwiswa. Hupenzi chifo, unofa nahwo!” (What you hold in your hand you can throw away. What is on your stomach you can vomit. Stupidity is a curse that you will take to your grave!) So goes the Shona adage.
Zimbabwe is a failed state and all because of our own stupidity! I make no apology for saying this because it is true and, more stoically, in the hope that plain talking may force people out of their sloth-like mental slumber.
“Nelson Chamisa is not a god who is immune to mistakes, just like you and me,” argued Solomon Harudzibwi in Bulawayo 24.
“He doesn't owe anyone an opportunity to experiment on your fine strategies or advice.”
The sheer stupidity of our so-call intellectuals is one of factors that has undermined the nation’s efforts to build a healthy and functioning democracy. Ordinarily any society would looks up to its intellectuals to give sound advice and thus keep the nation on the narrow and straight road. But when the intellectuals themselves are stupid and devoid of even common sense, the society is in deep trouble.
MDC/CCC leaders were elected into office with a clearly define task and not with some wishy-washy plan. Ever since the launch of MDC 1999 the people of Zimbabwe have risked livelihoods, life and limb to elect the party’s leaders into power for the primary purpose of implementing the necessary democratic changes to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections.
MDC/CCC leaders have been on the political stage for 23 years including 5 in the GNU and they have not only failed to implement even one token reform but have been participating in flawed elections out of greed. They have even claimed to have winning in rigged election strategies to justify participating and to hide the real reason for doing so - greed. These are all well-documented historic facts.
It is an outrage to dismiss the failure to implement even one token reform during the GNU, for example, as merely “a mistakes”. The two MDC factions in the GNU had 110 MPs, 40 senators, 30 ministers and deputy ministers, 2 Deputy PMs and 1 PM, any one of them could submit the reform proposal, and yet not even one reform proposal was ever submitted. They had five years to do this and still they failed. Of course, this was not a mistake.
Mugabe bribed the MDC leaders with the trappings of high office and, in return, they kicked the reforms out of the window.
“Mazivanhu eMDC adzidza kudya anyerere!” boasted Zanu PF cronies during the GNU when asked why MDC leaders were not implemented the reforms.
“I respect Nelson Chamisa for fighting in a space where others have given up either voluntarily or involuntarily cause the terrain is not easy, case in point is Nkosana Moyo, Robert Chapman, Douglas Mwonzora & many more,” continued Solomon.
The respect he is calling for to be accorded to Nelson Chamisa et al for daring to fight Zanu PF is that we, the people must NOT hold him and his friends to democratic account.
If we accept Solomon’s argument and concede to his demands then we extend the same privileges to Zanu PF. After all Robert Mugabe, Emmerson Mnangagwa and the rest of the Zanu PF leaders faced an even tougher opponent in the white colonial regime that Zanu PF.
Indeed, Zanu PF has rigged elections these last 43 years and has used the same excuses why the regime must not be held to democratic account - “Zanu PF fought the liberation war!”
Of course, it is foolish to have fought to end Zanu PF tyrannical and autocratic rule these last 43 years and before we have accomplished that objective we are already creating a new autocracy.
All those who hold public office must be democratically accountable to the people - no exception, no if and no but!
Establishing a healthy and functioning democratic Zimbabwe should be a walk in the park, after all we do not have to reinvent the wheel only to apply it! 43 years after independence and in this day and age, 2 500 years after the Greeks bequeath democracy to humanity and we in Zimbabwe are still failing to hold free, fair and credible elections.
The country’s ruling elite and intellectuals do not even know what constitute free, fair and credible elections, for Pete’s sake. What hope is there that my Auntie in the rural back waters will know any better. This is the damning testimonial of our stupidity and why we are seemingly - until we snap out of this stupor - incapable of self governing!

“At a time when Zimbabwean hospitals have no medicines like paracetamol and no equipment, Zimbabwe’s Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube has agreed to requests by Zimbabwean Members of Parliament, requests that include buying them brand new Landcruisers.
210 elected MPs minus the proportional representation MPs is 210 Landcruisers multiplied by US$400,000.
That is US$84 million for the 210 elected MPs.
Zimbabwe’s biggest hospital only has ONE maternity theatre built in 1977.
US$88 million would build 2270 maternity theatres.”
The looting continues!
“The (2013) electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.
Of course, Coltart was right, CCC participated in the 2023 elections out of greed and even after AU, SADC and our own ZHRC dismissed the election process as flawed and illegal CCC officials still went ahead and took up their gravy train seats. The recalls by Sengezo Tshabangu have thrown them in a panic many are literally supergluing themselves to their gravy train seat!
Zanu PF knows of the opposition leaders’ greed and has exploited the weakness to turn the opposition into just another Zanu PF department in all but name.
The real tragedy here is that many Zimbabweans have yet to admit it that ever since the GNU debacle CCC leaders have been running with the povo hare and hunting with the Zanu PF hounds. CCC will never deliver any meaningful change. Never!
@ Chief Svosve
“Great job- you are speaking to yourself- you can’t even write a sentence without saying Chamisa or Tsvangirayi. You blame them for Zimbabwe’s situation more than you blame Zanu PF as a collective .”
Zanu PF was never ever going to reform itself out of office and therefore it nonsensical to pretend that the party was ever going to submit any democratic reform proposals during the GNU. The task of submitting reform proposals was left to MDC leaders.
There were no fewer than 110 MDC MPs, 40 senators, 30 ministers and deputy ministers, 2 Deputy PMs and 1 PM, any one one of them could submit a reform proposal. They had five years - not five days, weeks or months, FIVE YEARS - to submit the reform proposal and they failed to submit even one. Not even one!
MDC/CCC’s number one task in this country is to implement the democratic reforms. After 23 years including 5 in the GNU they have not only failed to implement even one reform but worse still they have given up on reforms and have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy for a share of the gravy train seats.
The most important lesson here for the people of Zimbabwe is that if they are ever going to end the Zanu PF dictatorship, end the curse of rigged elections and end the fail state; we must look for competent men and women who will implement the reforms. CCC will never do it.
People must stop listen to CCC lies from the crows in Change Radio promising change and wittering about Change Champion in Chief and yet cannot name even one change the party has brought in 23 years.
Cornered the chief of crows pretends the task of implementing reforms was shared between MDC/CCC and Zanu PF and so must be the blame. The idiot does not even realise sharing the blame for selling out on reforms does not solve the problem - we still need the reforms implemented and since CCC will not do it they must go!
@ Seke Mhofu
Shame! You still do not get it do you. How will starting my own party solve the nation's problem if the culture is those who form their own party are not accountable to the people. This is the culture in Zanu PF and now in CCC that they are not accountable to the people because they fought in the liberation war or we are in the trenches facing Zanu PF.
Nations get the government they deserve and we in Zimbabwe certainly deserve this Zanu PF dictatorship complete with its entourage of corrupt and incompetent opposition parties - all 130 of them at the last count. And you still want more!
“Form your own party, leave CCC alone!” Yeah to what end and purpose!
How is it possible that anyone can be so shallow, thick and slow they cannot even realise that the political system in Zimbabwe is not working. We cannot even hold free, fair and credible elections because many our there have no clue what constitutes free and fair elections! Their brain has ossified into fat after decades of sloth-like mental inactivity!
@ Reentech
“They say an honest man will never be cheated! Only those given to unbridled avarice easily fall into allures of the snare of hunter and get entangled in the process! Honestly this the story of opposition during and just before the GNU .....and the same narrative continues to recur .. will even continue to do so as long opposition remains under the current sanctimonious leadership! Mwonzora stands out clean and vindicated!”
I agree with you on everything except the last bit. Mwonzora was in the GNU and played his part in the failure to submit even one reform in five years because he too had his snout in the feeding trough. He can never be clean!
@ Danny
“That one you are right thats why i am saying they should come clean if they are serious about governing in the future , the ruling is also spending too much time on focusing on the opposition instead of delivering Zimbabwe from being a poor state.”
Zanu PF has no clue on how to deliver economic prosperity and hence the reason why the party is now spending all its time and wealth on rigging elections and hanging on to power at all cost. It has successfully bribed all the country's key players including the opposition to make sure the party remains in power no matter what.
The key to unravelling the Zanu PF dictatorship is to appoint competent men and women who will implement the democratic reforms. There is no doubt that the best chance ever to do this was during the 2008 to 2013 GNU. It is not only tragic that MDC/CCC leaders wasted this golden opportunity, what makes it worse is that the people themselves are not aware of it, even now with the benefit of hindsight.
Another chance to implement the reforms had arisen out of AU and SADC condemning the 2023 elections but given the ignorance of what happened in the last GNU SADC leaders must have decided it would be pointless pushing for a second GNU.
Zanu PF’s continued rule is guaranteed as long as the party see to it there is no competent opposition appointed to implement reforms. MDC/CCC has had 23 years including 5 in the GNU and they have not implemented even one reform that is the ideal opposition party Zanu PF wants! And it looks like they will have their wish because the people themselves are yet to wake up to the reality that CCC leaders have been running with the povo hare and hunting with the Zanu PF hounds for the last decade at least.
@ Cecil not John
“It’s a Zimbabwean thing. On one hand you have a ruling party after 40 something years... nothing to show but personal wealth accumulated of those in charge....similarly opposition same whatsapp group! It's more of a Zimbabwean thing than opposition because we are cut from the same cloth.”
You are right there, it is shocking that even those Zimbabweans with University qualifications from respectable institutions believed Chamisa’s blatant lies of plugging all vote rigging loop holes just to hide the fact CCC was hell bent on participating in the flawed elections out greed. If the intellectual, the country’s creme de la creme, can be so easily conned what more my Auntie in the rural back waters!
Democracy demands an educated and diligent electorate and not an ignorant and gullible lot. Zimbabwe is a failed state because we have some of the stupid and naive populous on earth, not even a university education could cleanse the primeval lawless and idiotic mentality out of them!
This is just a circus! All CCC leaders including Ostallos contested the 2023 elections knowing fully well that the process is flawed, that participating will give Zanu PF legitimacy and they were participating regardless out of greed. They all knew that Chamisa was lying about plugging vote rigging loop holes just to hide their collective greed.
All the winning CCC leaders did not even hesitate to take up their gravy train seats even when AU and SADC election observers dismissed the 2023 elections as a farce.
The factional war in CCC has left leaders like Ostallos who had identified themselves with Chamisa too closely at a loss; they know they cannot switch allegiance now because the Tshabangu faction will never accept them even if they do.
What is laughable here is that Ostallos is now trying to cast himself as a man of honour fighting for democracy and freedom. No MDC/CCC leaders since the GNU debacle can ever claim any moral high ground because their GNU track record and there after show them for what they really are - corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent.

Now that there is serious in fighting in CCC as the result of the recalls by Sengezo Tshabangu it is nonsense for any CCC leader to pretend they are fighting for democracy and rule of law when all they are fighting for is their gravy train seat.

“Chamisa this Chamisa that...hamuna nyaya.”
Like it or not it is MDC/CCC leaders who have allowed Zanu PF to stay in power these last 23 years and counting. If the country wants change then we must change the opposition.
CCC will never implement the reforms required to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections. You will never see this because you have your head buried in Chamisa's back side and your brain starved of oxygen has all but ossified, you cannot think or listen to reason.
All you have ever done all these years is defend Chamisa no matter what. It is a great pity that idiots like you have the vote.
@ Chirandu
“How ironic to see bloggers spending much of their time discussing what the opposition is doing or not, than what those in power are doing or not.”
What a simpleton! This is a dynamic world and nothing ever stays the same.
MDC leaders had the golden opportunity to implement the democratic reforms which would have stopped Zanu PF rigging the election during the GNU. They failed to implement even one reform in 5 years because Mugabe bribed them with the trappings of high office and, in return, Tsvangirai and company kicked the reforms out of the window.
Ever since the GNU debacle MDC/CCC leaders have participated in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed. The CCC leaders themselves admit this.
“Look, you can't keep on participating in flawed electoral processes that serve to give big benefits to dictators such as Robert Mugabe. Mugabe has perfected the art of winning elections. So it will be very foolish for the opposition to continue legitimising these sham elections which don't deliver,” said Tendai Biti in a 2015 interview with Isaac Mugabi.
“So you can't continue subjecting Zimbabweans to processes where their hopes just get crushed.”
In short Zanu PF has managed to stay in power during the GNU and beyond because MDC/CCC leaders are corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent. CCC will never ever deliver reforms and free and fair elections. Never! But there are those who like to bury their heads in the sand and pretend Chamisa and company are infallible demigods who have never ever done anything wrong!
The tragedy for Zimbabwe is not so much that CCC leaders are corrupt and incompetent but rather that we have many Zimbabweans out there too ignorant and naive to accept CCC leaders are not just mortal but corrupt and incompetent ones. And to crown it all these gullible citizen have the voice and the vote, they are the one keeping Zanu PF in power in their foolish belief that CCC will win rigged elections.
It is not so much who is in power but who is KEEPING Zanu PF in power, a subtle difference but critical one. After 23 years with not even a token reform in place the subtle difference should be obvious but clearly not to those whose brains have ossified into fat. Sad! Very sad! But there it is, we are a nation of simpleton, Zimbabwe’s curse.
@ Mukanya
“Very true, instead of coming up with strategies to remove the elephant in the room, they are scared and instead choose to attack those without power to change anything under the circumstances, I guess as cowards that's what we do, attack the weak.”
Well all I can say is it is nice to be a village idiot because you have no respect for historic facts - they never sink in!
Yes Zanu PF is the elephant in the room but who has wasted the many opportunity to get it out and who is feeding it and grooming it to encourage it to stay? CCC leaders!
MDC leaders did have the power and opportunity to implement the democratic reforms during the GNU they failed to get even one token reform implemented because they are corrupt and incompetent. You can deny this all you want that will not change the reality or historic facts.
After 23 years, including 5 in the GNU, and not even one token reform in place any one with half a brain should have started questioning MDC/CCC leaders’ competence. Of course if you have a half shilling for a brain it is another matter.
@ Chief Svosve
“More than 5 proposals were submitted even after that many proposals were submitted hence the birth of NERA the brain child of Morgan Tsvangirayi. You are good at twisting facts. But anyway you are a man at work. I know you are doing this to protect your properties in Zim or as pay back for the farms Zanu PF gave you- tichazvozvifumura usafunge kuti hatizive kuti you are a beneficiary of the system. You and Hopewell same WhatsApp group. Bloody sell outs!”
“More than 5 proposals were submitted” and yet you cannot name even one proposal!
So NERA is now a reform proposal and something to boast of although it was just another talk-shop that accomplished nothing.
Well, well so now you are resorting to innuendos and blackmail and all this because I have dared to hold CCC leaders to democratic account for failing to implement reforms and for participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the Zanu PF dictatorship. Those who hold public office are democratically accountable to the people that is not negotiable!
Now back to the issues on the table: name one of the 5 reform proposals MDC leaders submitted during the GNU?
@ Steve Biko
“God is not in the habit of coming down to earth to solve mankind’s problems.”
This becomes even more preeminent when some one repeatedly makes such outrageous claims like “I have plugged all the vote rigging holes!” “God is in it!” To hide the real reason - greed - why he and his party are hell bent on participating in flawed elections they know are flawed and that participating will only give vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy.
In this case Chamisa did not even have the common sense to something as basic to stop rigging as deploying election agents at all polling stations even though CCC had the funds for the purpose.
The tragedy for Zimbabwe is that there are many Zimbabweans, including so university educated and professional individual, ignorant and gullible enough to be duped into believing such blatant lies time and time again. Evoking the name of God is enough to impress these simpletons they forget Chamisa is a mere mortal pretending to be divinely inspired for the purpose of deception. Since when has God been involved in lies and hare-brain schemes!
@ FM
“Mr Mukori, seeing as you happen to know the “flows” in the opposition, form a flawless opposition and campaign on that card.”
Having more political parties will not solve the country's economic and political problems because that is not the problem.
The problem is failing to hold those in public office to democratic account particularly when it is because the people themselves are ignorant dumb and stupid. The people participated in the 2023 elections even after they were warned their participation will only help to give legitimacy to Zanu PF. They were conned by Chamisa's "I have plugged all vote rigging loop holes!" Of course, it was foolish to believe in such idiotic lies!
A healthy and functioning democracy demands an educated and diligent electorate. As long as we have this ignorant, naive and gullible electorate Zimbabwe will remain a failed state.
There has been no political change in the last 23 years because the herd believes MDC/CCC leaders will deliver change although they have failed to bring even one token reform, the herd still believes in CCC. Zanu PF has bribed MDC/CCC leaders to forget the reforms for a share of the spoils of power. And so the nation stuck with the failed political system because the people themselves a too stupid to realise Zan PF and CCC are partners at the expense of change!
@ FM
“Your assertions/assumptions/theories are based on an even playing field. We all know that field has never been even.”
Everyone knows that the play field is not even. What people want to know is why did MDC leaders do nothing to implement the reforms during the GNU and even the playing field.
The GNU was the get out of jail card; why did MDC fail to play it?
We all know why! Mugabe bribed them to forget about the reforms. Many out there pretend MDC leaders did nothing wrong because they do not want to admit the truth - that MDC leaders are corrupt and incompetent. And so we are trying to solve the country’s problem of rigged elections and bad governance by pretending the individuals entrusted the task of stopping Zanu PF rigging elections are doing a good job. Of course, we are stuck!
Lest people forget people have risked livelihoods, life and limb to elect MDC/CCC into power for the primary purpose of implementing the necessary democratic reforms to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections. Zanu PF has rigged the elections for the last 23 years, proof that MDC/CCC leaders are corrupt and incompetent and if we want Zanu PF stopped from rigging future elections we MUST have competent leaders. This should be obvious why it is not beggars belief!
No wonder we are a failed state and are paying dearly for our foolishness. Placing the nation's destiny in a corrupt and incompetent opposition even with 23 years hindsight is foolish!
The goal in 1999 was to elect an opposition that will implement the reforms and stop Zanu PF rigging election, the goal has not changed. Are we smart enough to accept CCC have failed and replace them - that is the challenge today.
https://bulawayo24.com/index-id-opinion-sc-columnist-byo-238493.html
@ FM
“Goodness me. How many children have been born since the GNU?”
So the GNU is now irrelevant because it is old!
How many children were born since Moses came down the mountain with the Ten Commandments? And yet the Ten Commandments have remained one of the core pillar of Christianity and Judaism to this day. Why?
MDC failed to implement even one token reform during the GNU and that is why Zanu PF has blatantly rigged elections and Zimbabwe is a failed state. The GNU remains relevant today as it was in 2008 because we still need to implement the democratic reforms. If 50 years, 1 000 years from now we still have not implemented the democratic reforms fully, the 2008 to 2013 GNU will still be relevant!
@ Chief Svosve
“Please mukanya don’t waste your time with Wilbert. All he does is blame the real opposition in Zimbabwe on failing to implement reforms he will never give you a solution . All he does is criticise no matter how much the opposition tries . Even when NERA was formed by Dr Tsvangirayi to push for electoral reforms he was in the forefront of attacking NERA. Wilbert is paid to do what he does so let him be- he is a man at work.”
You and your CCC cronies are no different from the Zanu PF thugs in your thinking. You both believe you must not be held to democratic account especially by mere mortals because “you are in the trenches fighting Zanu PF” you argue and for Zanu PF “we fought in the liberation war!”
Well I will state this one more time: all those in public office are democratically accountable to the people - that is not negotiable.
MDC/CCC leaders have not only failed to implement and reforms but they have been participating in these flawed elections knowing fully well that doing so will give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the dictatorship. They done all these things out of greed. The MUST account for their treasonous betrayal of the people who have risked life and limb to elect them into power for the primary purpose they would implement the reforms.
I dismiss your narrative of substituting account for blame. The later implies MDC/CCC leaders have done no wrong and/or it was not their fault.
Mugabe bribed the MDC leaders with the trappings of high office and the MDC leaders, in return, forgot about the reforms. This is a well documented historic fact and many who were in the GNU like Professor Arthur Mutambara admit it. And here we are apologists like Chief Svosve continue the pretence MDC leaders did not sell-out!
I am paid by whom to hold CCC and Zanu PF to account? This is yet another Zanu PF dirty tactic to stifle debate and democratic discourse at all costs. No doubt if CCC was in government we will be seeing the same blackmail, barbarism and even cold blooded murders Zanu PF has been using.
NERA was just a talk-shop that accomplished nothing. Name what NERA accomplished?
How many times have yesterday’s liberators become today’s oppressors; this time before Zanu PF is out we already have a new oppressor.
@ Mataranyika
“Who is the opposition that people constantly refer and how do you change leading opposition, now the job issue sikhala just first remove him from prison these are small things than you can do , just hire him best legal mind or support his family than to come here lying to say you want to change opposition uri sani , Zec has not published results on its website makanyarara, Ed is coup leader makanyarara but you busy of wanting to changed the oppressed than the aggressor, that is why tichiti mukoma munopenga imimi , the nation is wait for Tangible solution Imimi mirikutaura zvemugotsi ratsuro, madhuku , Linda , chimisa , mwonzora are opposition leader of CCC , NCA ,MDC , zapu , pdp , lead saka muri kutaura opposition ipi tine more than 20 political parties in Zimbabwe.”
What are you wittering about? Has asking MDC to account why they sold out on reforms stop you or anyone getting Sikhala out of prison?
@ Mataranyika
“Participating in election can't be deemed a crime to you think you can criminalise here , Zimbabwe has more than 20 political parties so why pointing at CCC as if it's only opposition party, there is MDC , lead , NCA ,eff so if one party decides not to participate in election at law it's deemed political right not participate and it give zanu pf a free launch, so stop lying to people here there legal implications obvious even know by making Such decisions, you can't pretend to love chamisa by now blaming him for participating an election which you don't even vote for him are you a friend or enemy, yesterday you accuse of lot of things but today you say he should not have participated in a election yet you don't support him this is clearly a bait.”
Chamisa and his CCC friends participated in a flawed election know the process was flawed and that participating will give Zanu PF legitimacy. Still the went ahead out of greed. This is true! Then he and his friends must account for it.
To argue that they were not the only opposition party that participated is as foolish as a thief arguing that he was not the only thief. Of course, no judge will left the thief off the hook for that!
You just cannot stomach that CCC can and must be held to democratic account and so you coming up with all manner of stupid excuses why the party must not be held to account. Well, get this into your thick head because it will be hammered home one way or the other; all those in public office are accountable to the people - that is not negotiable! It will be hammer home!
@ Mataranyika
“How do you account a party u never support but u expected that part to deliver for you , you don't vote chamisa , you don't donate for CCC, but you expect it to just function as you please, how do you the hold CCC to account in what capacity bro.”
You still do not get it, but you will!
All those who hold public office are accountable to the people regardless whether they are members of the party or not, male or female, tall or short, etc., etc.
It is sad to note that in this day and age any one can still be so shallow dumb and stupid to even think democratic accountability is limited to members of the party only!
The tragedy for Zimbabwe is that such nincompoops have the voice and the vote. No wonder we are a failed state and, at this rate, are likely to to remain for generations - nincompoops tend to reproduce themselves in their own image!
@Tavstan
“Hope that you are not aware that we are in an authoritarian system.”
Did the authoritarian system stop MDC leaders implemented even one reform during the GNU? No! So it is irrelevant!
@ Chikondo
“Zanu pf will not reform itself from power.”
Of course, that is the reason why the people of Zimbabwe have risked all to elect MDC/CCC these last 23 years and entrusted the task of implementing the democratic reforms because the nation could not trust Zanu PF to reform itself out of office. The way you say it sounds like you have just come to this realisation recently!
@ Mataranyika
I am holding CCC to account for failing to lock the door and letting the thief in and sharing the spoils. And I want CCC replace by competent guards and have to fight village idiots you still refuse to accept that we have corrupt guards regardless of all the evidence. MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one reform in 23 years, for Pete's sake. What else do they have to do for you to finally accept they are corrupt and incompetent! Man, you really are thick!
@ Mataranyika
“How do they implement reforms when they are not majority in parliament , you don't vote them so that they won't be majority so that you blame for not implementing reforms.”
Why did MDC fail to implement reforms when they had the golden chance to so during the GNU?
They are the ones insisting on participating in elections so flawed and illegal they cannot win, know participating will give Zanu PF legitimacy because they also know Zanu PF will give away a few gravy train seats. It is nonsensical for anyone to then complain of Zanu PF rigging the elections are resisting reforms! Get a grip for Pete’s sake!
You, like so many out there you are so naive and gullible you believe CCC are demigods who can do no wrong. Of course, it is stupid because Chamisa and company are not only fallible mortals but corrupt and incompetent ones at that. How any one can still believe CCC is the nation’s saviour beggars belief.
No wonder we are a failed state and rightly so too. We don’t even have the common sense to admit CCC have failed even with them failing to implement even one reform in 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU! AAAAAHHHH!
@ JM
Even after 23 years with not even one reform implemented there many out there who still fail to see that simple reality. This reminds me of Boxer the horse in Animal Farm.
It took Boxer just as long to learn the first four letters of the alphabet as it took others to learn all the 26 letters. It took him as long again to learn the next four letters and by that time, he had forgotten the first four. I thought George Orwell was exaggerating, no human being could be that dull and slow witted. Now I know he was wrong, he under estimated the sheer stupidity of some people!
We have some shockingly dull and stupid people in Zimbabwe. What is more they have a voice - the system has encourage the nincompoops to believe they are wiser than King Solomon and they love throwing their weight around, holding political leaders to account is a very dangerous thing because there are overzealous supporters who do not like their demigods denigrated. Worse still they have a vote - it is the brain dead herd who elect the buffoons into power and keep them there!
@ George
“Eish this Mukori guy , he is just a pain, everyday same information, is like he is talking to his kids, repeating same things for the past 6 months.”
Zimbabwe is a failed state because MDC/CCC leaders failed to implement even one reform to stop Zanu PF rigging elections for the last 23 years. The nincompoops who cheered them along all these years are now defending the sell-outs and are coming up with all manner of idiotic rules to stifle debate and democratic discourse.
We are not allowed to mention reforms, GNU, participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed, the blatant lie plugging all the vote rigging loop holes, God is in it, etc., etc.; anything that will remind them of Chamisa’s incompetence and their stupidity in believing it.
Zanu PF has rigged elections for 43 years and counting; CCC has done nothing to stop the rigging for 23 years and counting; the nincompoops have not even noticed that, it is water off a duck’s back. I have called for reforms, etc for 6 months and the nincompoops are furious. They frothing and fuming out of every orifice on their body.
The nincompoops in the howling monkey stance will put to shame All Black haka dance!
Still the idea that Zanu PF will as certain as day follows night rig the 2028 elections and thus perpetuating the dictatorship is more frightening to me than a legion of the howling monkeys. The only sure way to stop Zanu PF rigging future elections is by getting competent opposition to implement the reforms - the word guaranteed to drive the howling monkeys into rage!
Reform, reform, reform! I will shout reforms from the roof top every hour of every day! Let the howling monkeys do as they please but they can be certain of one thing I will not stop demanding reforms and a competent opposition to implement them!
And my repeated message to all the howling monkeys, I have never been silence by nincompoops and I am not going to let that happen now! So clear all your orifices for some serious frothing and fuming ahead!
How ironic you are frothing and fuming at me for calling for reforms and and end to the curse of rigged elections and yet have said nothing to Zanu PF who have rigged elections for 43 years and nothing to CCC for doing nothing to stop Zanu PF rigging elections these last 23 years!!!! Well I did say you are a nincompoop. QED!!!!
@ Zhou
You have no clue what the reforms are much less the consequences of MDC leaders betrayal all you know is your blind loyalty to Chamisa and CCC. How can you hold CCC to account for betraying the nation on a matter you do not know anything about. You happily participating in the last elections not knowing doing so would perpetuate the Zanu PF dictatorship.
Instead of listening to explanation on what the reforms are, why we need them, etc.; you are refusing to listen because you think you already know. You are wiser than King Solomon himself!
Zimbabwe is a failed state because we have buffoons in the ruling party and in the opposition because we have ignorant and foolish voters who elected them in to power and are now doing the best to keep the buffoons in power. Our double curse of rigged elections and ignorant voters!
You clearly believe CCC is the nation’s saviour even though the party has failed to implement even one token reform in 23 years, including 5 years in the GNU! Hupedzi inyama yegakava. The ignorant and stupid are stubborn more so when they consider themselves wiser than King Solomon!
@ Reentech
Exactly! For anyone to say Zanu PF should have implemented the reforms speaks volumes of the individual - only some one with no clue what they are talking about would say such nonsense!
@ Justice
“Are you shifting the blame to the runners forgetting that they were guided by their principals? It's not a crime to accept that we collectively lost a chance to push for reforms. If our MPs were serious about reforms, surely could have threatened to disengage in the 1st year of GNU. We could be not talking of reforms today. The Gnu gave us an opportunity and it's time wasted. Let's accept our mistakes.”
What is so disappoint here is that the MDC itself was launched in 1999 on promise to deliver democratic changes, as the party’s name implied - Movement for Democratic Change. The CCC wildebeest herd have been chanting “CHANGE! CHINJA!” all these years. And yet 23 years later including 5 in the GNU the herd does not have the common sense to realise that MDC/CCC leaders have failed to bring about even one change.
We should not be talking about what the GNU was about, that should be understood by all. Alas! It is a mystery of mysteries, hidden away in plain sight!
It is not all who see who perceive, who hear who understand. Blessed are those who see and perceive, hear and understand. If you cannot even understand that CCC will never implement any reforms after 23 years, it is clear you are incapable of comprehending anything! No wonder Zimbabwe is a failed state and it is a sicken reality!
@ Minister Anel
“I don’t think you are being honest people are not voting so that people have reforms you are just selling a stupid narrative people are voting to remove zanu pf and zanu pf will not be removed by reforms because it lost elections not once but they refused to give power lets be real no reforms will remove zanu pf 2008 they lost elections did they give up power.”
Talk of being confused, you are confused!
People have risked all to elect MDC/CCC leaders on the promise the party will implement the reforms that will stop Zanu PF rigging elections. Zanu PF has rigged elections including the 2023 elections precisely because CCC have failed to implement even one token reform in 23 years, including 5 in the GNU! I will not bother commenting on your confused statement above.
@ Justice
“Aizve mukoma maita sei apa. Zanupf pasina ma reforms haibvisiki nokuti hatina chekutaura pama gvt institutions ose. Ma reforms ndiwo anobvisa maoko eZanupf kuZec, Zbc, Judiciary, state security services, traditional leaders etc todzokera pa rule of law. Well done!
@ Reentech
“It’s just a matter of common Sense that reforms will create a" level political ground " and help advance the opposition cause zvekuti pamwe zvamochema nazvo kubva 2008 till nhas deno ma reforms aivepoo it would have been a different ball game all together! Reforms are never a stupid narrative ...they only become stupid to only those playing to the sour grapes idiom or riddle!”
Common sense is the one thing that is noticeably lacking in Zimbabwe. MDC/CCC have been on the political stage for 23 years, including 5 in the GNU and they have failed to implement even one democratic reform. Any one with common sense would have realised by now that CCC leaders are corrupt and incompetent; not this lot!
Any one with common sense would have dismissed such idiotic claims as “I have plugged all vote rigging loop holes!” especially when it was common knowledge that ZEC was not producing a verified voters’ roll. Not so with Zimbabweans, they believed the idiotic lies and have never held Chamisa to account even when events proved this was a lie!
@ Billy
“Mr justice ma reforms ahashande, opposition have tried for 24 years with no positive outcome. Zanu ikungoda Hondo chethe.”
This is just nonsense! MDC leaders were bribed with the trappings of high office and they forgot about the reforms. A few of the MDC leaders like Professor Mutambara have been honest enough to admit they took their eyes off the ball. And yet here we are some half-wit blubbering “opposition have tried for 24 years with no positive outcome!”
“Hondo chete!” You don’t even have the common sense to realise CCC are corrupt and incompetent and now want to drag the nation into yet another blood bath! What an idiot!
@ Reentech
“It seems no one from the opposition understood what the reforms where all about even to this day! This crass show of ignorance gives fodder to the belief that reforms were just being forced down the throat of the opposition by their handlers....little wonder they failed to push for them because they did not have the orientation and the competency to implement them…..”
MDC/CCC leaders are corrupt but their breath-taking incompetence is out of this world.
USA ambassador to Zimbabwe 2004 to 2007, Chris Dell, wrote in a leaked cable back to Washington that Morgan Tsvangirai “was a flawed and indecisive character who would become an albatross round the nation’s neck if he ever got into power!”
The ambassador could have said the same thing about the entire MDC leadership. And they have been in power and they are the milestone round the nation’s neck dragging us down into the crushing abyss.
The tragedy is the masses themselves are naive and ignorant of just how utterly useless the opposition are! And so they continue to support CCC unaware who is dragging them to their demise! Ignorance and stupidity are bliss!
@ Minister Anel
“Zanu pf are just political thugs who will not be removed democratically they are thugs who are sucking blood you can only remove them through the language they understand.”
Was that why MDC failed to implement even one reform during the GNU? No! They were bribe and they forgot about the reforms. Stop coming up with your own idiotic narratives just because you will not accept that CCC leaders are corrupt and incompetent.
@ Chisa
You just do not want to admit you were foolish enough to believe the lies and, worst of all, cannot bear to see Chamisa taken to task for lying, corruption and incompetence. You can dismiss it as hating Chamisa, he must nonetheless account for all these treasonous acts!
@ Justice
It's not a secret that all government institutions are captured. ED publicly said that zanupf is everything and wasn't joking. Reforms are there to clip off zanupf wings. Ndizvo zanupf isingadi ma Reforms nokuti havazobhururuki.
You complain that I talk about reform but fail to complain about those wh failed to implement reforms for 23 years allowing Zanu PF to continue rigging the elections! I will talk about reforms until we finally have free, fair and credible elections. And you can howl all you want, that is what howler monkeys do!
Stop pretending, you do not want CCC held to account for failing to implement reforms and so you want the subject closed. I have told you reforms WILL remain on the national agenda until they implemented and Zimbabwe has free, fair and credible elections. I will will not be silence by a howling monkey!
@ Rotina
“Zimbabwe is run by a corrupt dictatorship since 1980. It’s a dictatorship as demonstrated by the coup - ZPF v ZPF. To the extent that other ZPF members live outside the country as refugees. That proves that ZPF has no democratic fiber in its dna - they can’t even tolerate each other to the extent Kasukuwere was refused to compete in the Aug elections. How wld MDC & CCC participate in policy matters 🤷🏾♀️. U’ve heard how naive Munangagwa is - brags ‘ZPF owns the army, we own police, we decide who Carrie’s our mining projects, construction projects’ etc. Myopic, directionless. Poor management of budget - they behave like kids in a candy store. Not surprised the country is broke despite all its riches.”
FOCUS! We are talking about why MDC/CCC have failed to implement even one token reform in 23 years, including 5 in the GNU, to stop Zanu PF rigging elections. What has that got to do with the 2017 military coup?
@ Rotina
“It’s upon ourselves to deal with this corrupt gvt whose main job is to call fellow Zbweans ugly names, treat them as if they’re stupid, no brains and can only be told what to do by those thugs. What ZPF is doing is not difficult for anyone to see that it’s wrong from several perspectives:- (1) they misappropriate gvt funds; national resources especially minerals - good, diamonds etc. (2) deliberate lack of information on the status of mining projects stating the current levels of each mineral reserves - gold, diamonds, copper, asbestos, etc. It’s supposed to be public information and shld be easily available in the public domain.”
We should be careful we too do not fall into the same trap Zanu PF has fallen into - of finding scapegoats for everything including our own foolishness.
It is us Zimbabweans who have failed to come up with a competent opposition to implement the democratic reforms and stop Zanu PF rigging elections. Zanu PF has just blatantly rigged the 2023 election all because MDC/CCC have failed to implement anew all know that the regime was never ever expected to implement reforms to stop itself rigging rigging election.
The nation elected MDC/CCC leaders to implement the democratic reforms. After 23 years, including 5 in the GNU, we must face the facts - CCC leaders will never implement the reforms. Why it has taken 23 years speaks volumes of our own incompetence and stupidity!
Reform will remain on the national agenda until they are implemented and Zimbabwe has free, fair and credible elections. You are a howling monkey, howl but do not set the national agenda that is for those with the brain.
@ Billy
“I have said several times that we need new opposition. We need new political players. These ones that have been meddling around Zanu for ,23 years have no new ideas.”
It is not new political parties per se that are required but rather an educated and diligent electorate. Zimbabweans have risked all to elect MDC/CCC into power for the primary purpose the party leaders will deliver the necessary democratic changes to stop Zanu PF rigging elections.
Zanu PF has has blatantly rigged the 2023 elections and still the penny has not dropped in the empty heads that CCC leaders are corrupt and incompetent even with all the evidence the party has not implemented even one reform in 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU.
When you have an electorate this ignorant, dumb and stupid, you can have new political parties led by the Albert Einsteins of politics and governance the country will still remain a failed state because the people are too dumb to know quality leadership even if it is presented to them in a silver platter!
@ Land and light
“Those in the diaspora base their arguments on the lies they are fed by our enemies in USA and Europe while those of us at home and proudly so we premise our arguments on the reality on the ground. No amount of bucking by those cowards in the diaspora can make us change our political views never. You may keep your rands, pounds, greenback etc but we still can get them into our country through other means.”
You can if it was a lion or mouse by the paw-print. By the same token one can tell the intellectual content of the individual by what they say!
“Those in the diaspora base their arguments on the lies, we premise our arguments on the reality on the ground!” Of course, that is nonsense especially in this day and age in which the world has been reduced to a village and information is readily accessible to all day and night. What each individual does with the information is up to their intellectual ability.
I have met some clever Zimbabweans who are now in the diaspora and some stupid ones who are also in the diaspora. I met the same individuals in Zimbabwe and their intellectual ability was not affected in any way by the geographic location.
Whenever some one tries to rent weight to their argument by appealing to irrelevant factors like “I am on the ground!” “I am a man!” “It is Wednesday!” you can be certain even they know they are talking bull!
No one is fooled by silly argument and your effort to “prove” that it is a smart argument makes you look even more pathetic! It is ok to be a mouse, after all we cannot all be lions!
@ Chasura
“Cde the best you can do is to go tell the CCC leadership about your concerns. This is becoming extremely boring. It's now nauseating.”
So you think Chamisa did not know that he was lying when he said “CCC will win big because I have plugged all the vote rigging loop holes.” Of course, he KNEW he was lying.
The people who did not know that he was lying are the village idiots like you who believed him and participated in the flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuate the dictatorship. The village idiots like you who have defending Chamisa and deeply resent the very notion that a mere mortal like me can hold him to account.
If you were not a half shilling then you too would be demanding the election of competent opposition since MDC/CCC have failed to implement even one token reforms in 23 years, 5 of which in the GNU.
Only a village idiot would impishly denounce the demand for reforms, the prerequisite for ending the curse of rigged elections and yet is indifferent to 43 years of Zanu PF rigging the election and the tragic human suffering this has caused. I will continue to demand reforms and I am not here to massage your misplace idiotic ego!
I will demand reforms until Zimbabwe has free, fair and credible elections - that is not negotiable.
Elections in the DRC a farce, something we in Zimbabwe know only too well. The failure to hold free, fair and credible elections is a damning testimonial to our failure to self govern.
I hope SADC step in the DRC and establish a GNU and give that nation a chance to sort out their political mess. We in Zimbabwe had our chance, the 2008 to 2013 GNU and we wasted it; MDC leaders failed to implement even one token reform and we, the people learned nothing from it as we continued to give our blind loyalty to MDC.
Zanu PF rigged 2023 elections because CCC failed to implement any reform to stop Zanu PF rigging election!

@ FM
“With all due respect my brother it does start to begin to border on the edges of obsession by being repetitious. I think we all know that MDC failed to implement changes as part of the GNU. In a much as I agree with you, u have lost me. It might be a good idea for u to talk about something else. As I said, one might be forgiven for accusing u of being obsessed with the issue. No disrespect intended.”
I will be the first person to forget about demand democratic reform if you can tell me what else can be done to end the curse of rigged elections and bad governance. I have explored all the other solutions and have discarded them all one by one. So please tell what solution you are proposing.
Meanwhile, I will continue to demand the implementation of the reforms.
Let me make it very clear so there is no misunderstanding I will not abandon reforms because some empty head said I had repeated reforms too often - whatever that is supposed to mean. The 10 Commandments are over 3 000 years old since Moses brought them down and yet the still remain a key pillar of Judaism and Christian teaching. Why? Because they are still as relevant today as they were back then.
Zimbabwe is a failed state with all the tragic economic, social and humanitarian consequences that entail because we have failed to hold free, fair and credible elections. I know implementing the democratic reforms is the cure the nation needs. The fact that MDC/CCC leaders sold out and failed to implement even one reform does not mean we do not need the reforms any more nor that there is no one else who can implement them.
Frankly I have but contempt for those making a mountain out of a mole hill of the repeated call for reforms and yet the same individuals have said nothing about MDC/CCC selling out on reforms these last 23 years or about Zanu PF rigging elections for the last 43 years. The stupidity and narcissistic vanity of it all is sickening. The search for a solution to end the national tragedy has to be put on the back burners because some smart Alec is bored to hear anyone else talking about reforms. I am speechless!
Constitution stumbling block
Now that Mnangagwa has won a second term, the constitutional process he would need to get a third term requires not just a two-thirds majority in Parliament, but also a popular majority in a referendum as well.
As things stand, Mnangagwa is ineligible to stand for re-election in 2028 as he would have served his two terms of five years each.
The interregnum between November 2017 when he seized power from the late former president Robert Mugabe and August 2018 when he was sworn in does not count as a term as it is less than the minimum three years which count as a full term.
Section 91 of Zimbabwe's constitution, which came into effect in 2013, limits a president's tenure in office to two five-year terms.
Section 91(2) reads: "A person is disqualified for election as President or Vice-President if he or she has already held office as President under this Constitution for two terms, whether continuous or not, and for the purpose of this subsection three or more years' service is deemed to be a full term."
At the time of drafting the new constitution, Mugabe, who ruled for 37 years, had been in that position for more than 25 years, having first served as prime minister for seven years before that.
Mugabe's extended stay in power, as well as his clearly insatiable appetite to retain it, was a key consideration for the constitution drafters.
The framers crafted a provision that effectively barred an incumbent president from changing the constitution to extend his or her stay in power.
So there is no incentive for Mnangagwa to change the constitution to remove the two-term limits as that would not benefit him unless he were to overhaul the constitution on those issues, removing all those provisions to clear the path for a third term, a mammoth task.
But Mnangagwa has already shown that he is willing to take the risk to maintain power as he did with constitutional amendment number one and number two.
The main effect of amendment number one was to change the procedure of appointing the Chief Justice, Deputy Chief Justice and Judge President by removing the interviews process to allow the President to make the appointments in consultations with the Judicial Service Commission, opening room for arbitrarily deployments.
Amendment number two - widely known as the Malaba Act as it controversially benefitted Chief Justice Luke Malaba to extend his tenure after reaching retirement age - dealt with the removal of the running mates clause to deal with Chiwenga to avoid making him an elected vice-president who is difficult to remove, tenure of judges and their promotion, proportional representation of women in Parliament and delimitation of electoral boundaries.
Section 328 (7) of the constitution says: "Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, an amendment to a term-limit provision, the effect of which is to extend the length of time that a person may hold or occupy any public office, does not apply in relation to any person who held or occupied that office, or an equivalent office, at any time before the amendment."
To provide further safeguards against presidential term limit extension, the architects of the new constitution came up with a provision stipulating that section 328 could itself only be amended through a referendum via a popular majority.
This constitutional stumbling block, combined with military manoeuvres to take over in 2028, leaves Mnangagwa's third-term ambition up in smoke.
Mnangagwa rigged the 2023 elections and, if he is not died, he would give third term his best shot!
@ Mukanya
“Makupererwa vakuru, basa renyu is to attack opposition in particular Chamisa and mafacts acho hamuna, you repeat same argument everyday.”
The joke is on you, Chamisa has failed to implement even one reform in 23 years, 5 in the GNU, and yet you still continue to worship him as demigod who can do no wrong. Some one has to sound the warning of the sheer insanity of entrusting the nation’s destiny in the hands of a corrupt and useless man like Chamisa.
Your beef with me is that I have dared to call Chamisa for what he is, corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent. Well. He is corrupt, breathtakingly incompetent and utterly useless. And I will never be bully and bamboozled by a village idiot into silence!
@ Chirwa
“Maybe it's the rest of us who are so ignorant and dumb. Wilbert,.pse do us a favour and for once indulge us pse on the ff:
1. The list of reforms that were supposed to be implemented during GNU and were not
2. Those that the CCC was supposed to implement since Jan 22 and were too engrossed in the feeding trough to even consider
3. How exactly these reforms were to be implemented.
Mungabatsira bhudhi mukambotiisira in black n white.”
I have dealt with this subject extensive in many articles dating back 2008 on the following site zimbabwelight.blogspot.com. You will find all the answers to the above questions and more.
@ Albert
“You are just editing what you wrote long back Mukori..nothing new here.”
Zanu PF has been rigging elections for the last 43 years what was new in that? I am dealing with rigged elections why should I produce a new solution to the same problem?
You obsession with some thing new has nothing to do with the issues here you just desperate to find an excuse to stop reforms being mentioned. Well reforms are the key to stopping Zanu PF rigging elections and until we have free and fair elections reform will remain on the national agenda. And, yes, I will also talk about CCC's selling out on reforms!
@ Luis
How nauseatingly stupid can you be! Ordinary citizen could not implement even one reform because that is the work of those holding public office. Your duty as a citizen is to hold the public office bearers to democratic account, in this case for failing to implement even one reform in 23 years 5 of which in the GNU.
Alas! we have some village idiots amongst us who are not only failing in the duty to hold public official to account but have taken it upon themselves to defend the public officials' treasonous betrayals.
“Chamisa ahasiye ega anoita ma reforms i duty rema zim citizens ose nhamo ndeyedu tese.” How can anyone say such a stupid thing in his day and age!
No wonder Zimbabwe is a failed state, we really have some village idiots and, to crown it all, they have the vote!
@ Jane Kwashi
“Why look for other competent men imi muripo. Miraiwo panyanga tionewo zvamuchaita kwete kutungamidza vana vevamwe then condemn them later.”
Let me ask you a question: If you had the Albert Einstein of politics and governance in Zimbabwe, do you think he/she would have participated in the 2023 elections? If so, how would he/she have fared?
CCC fielded double candidates in yesterday's Harare Mayoral elections.
⚫Jacob Mafume CCC: 22
⚫Elvis Ruzani CCC: 15
⚫Temany Utete ZANU PF: 4
Ostallos says Ruzani was the candidate endorsed by Adv. Nelson Chamisa but Mafume got more votes than Chamisa's preferred candidate.
This is getting both complicated and confusing; does this mean there more “snakes” than Chamisa supporters in the CCC? Chamisa has his work cut out for him and will do nothing else the next five years other than fight the ‘snakes’!
@ Denny
“CCC is not MDC get this into your head.”
Both Mnangagwa and Chamisa would like to airbrush Zanu PF and MDC by the creation of Second Republic and CCC because they do not want to be held to account to their role in the respective parties then. Of course, they are responsible for what happened especially since they are doing the same things now as back then. Corruption and vote rigging is as rampant today as before. CCC is participating in flawed elections out of greed as did MDC!
A snake does not cease be a snake just because it shed off it old coat! Just because you are easily conned, don’t not expect everyone else to be like you!
This is just a mirage no different from Mnangagwa's vision 2023.Zanu PF has just rigged the 2023 elections and it is nonsense to talk of new Zimbabwe in the next five years. Zanu PF was able to rig the elections precisely because MDC/CCC have failed to implement even one token reform to stop the blatant rigging.
A new great Zimbabwe is impossible as long as Zanu PF is able to rig elections and CCC will never implement the reforms and stop Zanu PF rigging the elections. If Chamisa and company failed to get even one token reform implemented during the 2008 to 2013 GNU when MDC had the trump cards what hoe now when Zanu PF has all the trump cards.
Democratic change in Zimbabwe will only happen on one condition: the ordinary Zimbabweans finally open their eyes to the political reality that they have risked all to elect MDC/CCC leaders to implement democratic reforms necessary to stop Zanu PF rigging elections.
After 23 years including 5 in the GNU CCC have failed to implement even one token reforms; the nation needs competent opposition who will implement the reforms. It is tragic that it has taken 23 years already before decisive action was take to get a competent opposition, worse still that the penny has not even dropped yet in some empty headed!
The truth is Zimbabwe is a failed state because we have failed to hold free and fair elections these last 43 years and nothing will change until we sort out this mess!
