The people of Zimbabwe realised that as long as Zanu PF continued to enjoy carte blanche powers to rig elections there will be no meaningful change in the country. Morgan Tsvangirai launch his MDC party promising that they would bring about the democratic changes the nation was dying for. The party was named MOVEMENT FOR DEMOCRATIC CHANGE to underline the promised changes.
It is really surprising that after 25 years with not even one token change delivered any one should fail to see that MDC/CCC leaders have sold out on implementing reforms. I am speechless that anyone should be wittering about MDC/CCC leaders “have no power to implement reforms”!

So Zimbabweans did not flood into SA during Smith’s rule although the country was under even tougher UN sanctions but are doing so now under sanctions targeting only a handful of individuals?
