“What we are doing is to create a new paradigm, we have
to create a new vision. The time for personalised politics is over. The time
for sloganeering your way to State House is over. The time for singing your way
to State House is over. You have to create a new narrative. You have to create
a new discourse, a new vision and new paradigm,” Biti told a rally in Mutare.
This was Biti’s first public rally since he led the
breakaway renewal rebels from the main MDC-T group. The rally was attended by
50 people!
What is he wittering about; if he is serious about re-launching
his political career after the years of damaging his reputation with the
endless string of political blunders then he is starting on the wrong foot. He
is shooting himself in the leg with the starting gun!
The nation has already established that what we need to
do to end this corrupt and tyrannical Zanu PF dictatorship are democratic
changes to end the tyrant’s control of state institutions like the Judiciary,
Police, ZEC, etc. Without these undemocratic powers then Mugabe and Zanu PF
will not be able to rig elections. Tsvangirai, Tendai Biti and the rest of MDC
leaders accepted this and had democratic change incorporated in the party’s
name and has been their rallying call ever since.
MDC has had many, many opportunities to deliver the
promised democratic changes but the party has wasted all the chances because of
the breath-taking incompetence of all its leaders including Tsvangirai and
Tendai Biti themselves. The party had everything in its favour during to GNU to
get the agreed reforms implemented to achieve the democratic changes but after
five years in government failed to get even one reform implemented.
MDC’s betrayal and failure to deliver democratic changes
has changed nothing; the key to ending the Zanu PF corrupt and tyrannical rule
is still the same – implement the democratic reforms.
So it is nonsense for Biti to be talking of “new paradigm”,
“new vision”, new this and new the other! What the nation has to do to get out
of the mess has not changed in anyway or form just because they failed to see
the task through all these last 15 years. If there is a lesson one had hoped
the like of Tendai Biti have learnt after all these years in power but little
to show for it is that they should treat the electorate with respect and not
lie to them. All this empty rhetoric of a “new discourse” shows that it is
business as usual for Biti.
Mr. Biti, the MDC’s failure to implement even one reform
showed just how breathtakingly incompetent you lot really are. If you think you
can bluff you way back into power then you will have to get used to addressing
very small rallies because Zimbabweans are sick and tired of being taken for
fools!

There was the opportunity to achieve meaningful change during the GNU it did not happen because of the breath-taking incompetence of the MDC leaders in the first instance but also the breath-taking incompetence of us the people who failed to see the opportunity and push MDC.
Indeed the blundering herd of wildebeest still do not understand MDC's betrayal and failures and continue to follow Tsvangirai blindly!

I told you to confine yourself to reading and commenting on the Herald and Kwaedza where you will be swimming with your friends who are mentally challenged too. Here, you are way out of your depth and you will be told so in no uncertain terms.
So Tendai Biti had his comeback rally which was attended by 50 people. I have said repeatedly and will say it again by failing to implement the reforms MDC showed just a breathtakingly incompetent they are.
How does MDC's incompetence prove that Zanu PF is a party of corrupt and mur-derous tyrants? MDC's failure to implement the reforms did not in any way grant Mu-gabe the license to rig the elections.
The tyrant committed high treason in rigging the elections and he and his cronies will be held to account for that!
The tyrant can argue that Tsvangirai's incompetence made the temptation to rig irre-sistible but I can tell you that will be dismissed as nonsense because it was not to Tsvangirai he owned the duty to hold free, fair and credible elections but to the peo-ple of Zimbabwe. It will not be Tsvangirai who will be suing him for treason but the people of Zimbabwe.
So if you idiots in Herald and Kwaedza have been celebrating the demise of MDC thinking you are off the hook you are now as clean as a newly minted coin; think again! Mugabe and Zanu PF still remain an illegitimate regime because they rigged the elections! The call for the regime to resign remains firmly on the table, Tsvangirai and Biti’s incompetence changes nothing!
