"We cannot separate democracy and discipline" says Moyo - Zanu PF is deficient in both P Guramatunhu

Zanu PF leaders are once again up in arms blaming business operators for the country’s worsening economic situations as shown by the increasing prices of goods and services - if they can be found given the shortages.

"This is a very temporary phenomenon, what we are going through and sometimes also they say in a democracy there must be discipline," Foreign Minister, Sibusiso Moyo said.

"We cannot separate democracy and discipline. If you lack discipline, then what it means is that people would want to maximise on profits, but in reality profits are basically 10-15%. That is not exactly what is happening on the market.”

Common sense of the one thing that is clearly lacking in those who lead us.

"With effect from midnight tonight, a fuel pump price of $3.11 per litre for diesel and $3.31 per litre for petrol will come into effect. These prices are predicated on the ruling official exchange rate of 1:1 between the bond note and the US dollar and also on the need to keep fuel retailers viable," Mnangagwa on 12 January 2019.

Before the increase, diesel cost $1.38 a litre, and petrol $1.43 a litre.

Where was Mnangagwa’s discipline when he increased the price of diesel and petrol by 125% and 131% respectively?

The exchange rate of the country’s local currency to the US$ was 1:1 in January and today it is 4:1 which means the prices should go up 400%! So what is the regime complaining about, especially when it is the one responsible for the local currency losing its value!

“As government we are going to enforce discipline (price control)!” said Minister Moyo.

Zanu PF blatantly rigged last year’s elections and thus dashing the nation’s hope of emerging from the shadow of a pariah state ruled by corrupt and vote rigging thugs. The regime was confident it will rig economic recover and that is now proving a bridge to far!

“We cannot separate democracy and discipline!” You are right Minister Moyo and you and your fellow Zanu PF thugs are and not only deficient in two virtues but worse still have no common sense. You have dug yourself and the nation into a hell-hole and lack the common sense to stop digging!

“This is a very temporary phenomenon which we are going through and sometimes also they say in a democracy there must be discipline. We cannot separate democracy from discipline,” you said.

While Zimbabwe is not a democracy nor are you, Minister Moyo, and your fellow Zanu PF thugs a disciplined lot. You blatantly rigged last year’s elections and you think you can get away with calling the elections free, fair and credible. You failed to produce something as basic as a verified voters’ roll, for Pete’s sake!

For the last 39 years you Zanu PF thugs have looted and rigged elections, committed serious human rights violations including cold blooded of over 30 000 innocent civilians for selfish political gain. The country is in total economic meltdown with tragic human consequences. Unemployment has soared to 90%, 3/4 of the population are living in abject poverty, basic services such as supply of clean water and health care have all but collapsed, etc. In stack contrast, the ruling elite continue to live in palatial mansions, travel outside the country for their education and health needs, etc.

It is bad enough that millions are suffering and dying in dumb anguish without having to put up with the insults from the thugs that Zimbabwe is a democracy and ruled by disciplined leaders! We know Zimbabwe is a pariah state ruled by corrupt, vote rigging and murderous thugs!

The Zimbabwean National Army is now fed up with civilians who are sabotaging the economy and will soon reign in on them Professor Jonathan Moyo has said.

Moyo who was commenting on reports that Minister of Foreign Affairs General (Rtd) Sibusiso Busi Moyo has sent warning shots again business owners said, "So, in the wake of the exponentially skyrocketing prices, the coup announcer is announcing that the pfee administration's errand business operators have gone errant. It's a telling sign the wheels have fallen off. It's the Army talking: they are fed up with the civilians!”

The regime is doing what it has always done when it is under pressure - blame some one else for the country’s ills. The country’s own RTGS$ is losing its value compared to the US$ and in a nation that imports far more than it exports it is not surprising that prices are shoot up!

Zanu PF is itching to introduce price controls, we have been through this before, this is voodoo economics, it has never worked in the past and it will not work this time.

It is no wonder the flood of investors and lenders Mnangagwa was cocksure would follow his “Zimbabwe is open for business!” mantra has not materialised. Who would want to do business in a pariah state where you are certain to be blamed for the regime’s own failures!

The regime has done a great job in shooting itself in the leg by rigging last year's elections and failing to do something to end corruption. Zimbabwe is still a pariah state ruled by corrupt and vote rigging thugs; no one was fooled by all that "Second Republic" and "Zimbabwe is open for business!" nonsense.

As long as Zimbabwe remains a pariah state there will be no meaningful economic recovery. In the end, it is the economy that is going to force Zanu PF out of office.

Foreign Minister Sibusiso Moyo, President Mnangagwa and the rest of the Zanu PF thugs do not have a single drop of democratic blood in their body. They are corrupt, vote rigging and murderous tyrants who have plied trade ruthless for the last 39 years to get what they want without a care about the millions they have crashed like bugs under their feet.

However they have found it very convenient to wear the coat of democrats and portray themselves as disciplined and considerate leaders. They are nothing more than hyenas rolled in elephant dung to hide their own odour and sinister mission.

Zanu PF blatant rig the election, murder innocent civilians to silence protesters and still they claim to be democrats. These thugs must think everyone in Zimbabwe is stupid!

Mugabe was incompetent, corrupt and a ruthless tyrant who loved absolute power. Many of those around Mugabe including Mnangagwa have copied many of the dictator's straits but Mnangagwa and those around him have added one fault of their own to the list - they are breathtakingly naive.

"This is not a military coup but a military assisted transition!" announced Sibusiso Moyo to the awaiting world in the small hours on 15 November 2017, the day of the Zimbabwe coup. There is no doubt that the coup plotter believe that nonsense!

Eight months latter the same thugs blatantly rigged the 30 th July 2018 elections and they insisted the elections were free, fair and credible. Again they believed their own nonsense!

The Zanu PF thugs are dumbfounded on the economy. They cannot deny the worsening economic meltdown and now they are at a loss as whom they should blame. They have blamed the economic meltdown on the sanctions that has failed to gain much traction. They are now blaming the local business owner for their lack of discipline. That will not fool many people when the price increases are being fuelled by inflation forcing the RTGS$ to lose its value. It is the regime's, not the individual citizen', responsibility to contain inflation.

Mnangagwa and his Zanu PF thugs are naive to believe their own propaganda and lies that they can hang on to power. The economic situation is so serious the country is just a ticking time bomb of social unrest. The regime must step down now or it will be force to do so when the bomb explode - it is not a matter of if but when!
