In 2017 staging a military coup was judged necessary, justified and constitutional. We have just seen what everyone else thought were air-tight clauses that could not be changed without a referendum changed with the passing of CAB3!

1) All politicians and their cronies from MP to President since the country''s independence must be investigated for corruption. Corruption is a serious curse in Zimbabwe and it will take radical and scorch the earth measures if we are ever going uproot this scourge from the nation!
2) Leaders must be elected on merit and merit alone. Zimbabweans have been warned repeatedly that they should not participate in flawed elections, "so flawed, so illegal, the only logical step is to withdraw". We were warned that one of the consequences of participating was giving Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuating the nation's suffering. Do you know that the war of independence was fought for "One man, one vote!" and "To restore land ownership back to the blacks!" Whilst the whites had title deeds to vast tracks of land the blacks were settled in Tribal Trust Land (TTL) where the land was held in trust and individual were not allowed to have title deeds to even one acre of land on which their mud hut stood.
Smith denied blacks title deeds for fear economic empowerment will embolden the blacks to demand political empowerment too. Smith did not want to give blacks the vote.
Zanu PF ruling elite and their cronies have been the main beneficiaries to the seized former white-owned farms. The overwhelming majority of the rural peasant are still stuck in the overcrowded TTLs and, worst of all, they continue to be denied title deeds to even one acre and for the same selfish political reasons.

They deploy Scripture not as a tool for humility or self-reflection, but as a political weapon. It is time to speak plainly about the moral bankruptcy of this strategy and why those who enabled the destruction of the constitutional order are no longer qualified to lead.
1. TRUE CHRISTIANITY VS POLITICAL WEAPONIZATION
To claim faith while engaging in self-serving political gatekeeping is a profound moral contradiction.
The Theology of Evasion: Using slogans like "God is in it" while offering no tangible strategy, no institutional protection for citizens' votes, and no structural resistance is not faith; it is the weaponization of piety. It asks a suffering population to endure endless hardship under the guise of waiting for divine intervention, while the leadership retains its personal brand and political relevance.
The Call to Humility: In true Christian theology, leadership is defined by self-sacrifice, accountability, and the courage to own one's errors. When a leader refuses to build democratic party structures, eliminates internal checks and balances, and treats all legitimate critique as disloyalty, invoking Scripture becomes a shield to avoid accountability."

EPWORTH — Senior Zanu‑PF leaders on Monday praised Sakunda Holdings for mobilising resources towards the success of celebrations marking President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s assent to Constitution Amendment Act No. 3, with party officials saying the conglomerate bankrolled events held in Epworth and across Harare.
Thousands of supporters, war veterans, women’s league members and youth activists attended the Epworth commemorations, which formed part of a broader programme celebrating the signing of Amendment No. 3 into law.
Addressing the gathering, Senator Charles Tawengwa, Minister of State for Harare Metropolitan Provincial Affairs and Devolution and a Zanu‑PF Politburo member, said the party was grateful for private‑sector support that made the commemorations possible.
“Everything which was done for this event and several other events in Harare has been done by Sakunda Holdings,” Tawengwa said. “We applaud Sakunda for showing patriotism and for mobilising resources to ensure that the people of Harare celebrate this historic milestone in unity.”
History will say that CAB3 is one of the most obnoxious pieces of legislation ever passed in the last 46 years. By giving mnangagwa and his cronies the extra dictatorial powers designed to water down the people’s right in a meaningful say in the governance of the country the bill has pushed the nation that much closer to the precipitous abyss.

Professor Ncube stressed this is the achievement of the SECOND REPUBLIC. Everyone in Zanu PF has been careful to put as much distance between post 2017 military coup Zanu PF with the party before the coup. Indeed, when the election observers such as SADC and AU condemned Zimbabwe's 2023 elections process as flawed and illegal that is precisely what they mean. The process is flawed because it lacks clarity and transparency, it has parallel systems, making it impossible to verify.
There was no verified voters' roll, for example, and so there were two or more voters' rolls used in the 2023. It is foolish to boast of plugging all the vote rigging loop hole in one version of the voters' roll when you know there are versions out there the regime will use on voting day.

Mnangagwa never doubted for one minute that his "Zimbabwe is open for business!" mantra would attract a flood of investors to kick start Zimbabwe's economic boom.
