Zimbabwe is a failed state and the A1 reason this is so is Zimbabweans do not THINK! W Mukori

“Africa suffers from a lack of citizens who THINK!”

You can play this video to Zimbabweans and you will be luck if 5% of them and stop to think. The rest will hear it and comprehend nothing, it just be water off a duck’s back.

Chamisa lied about plugging Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes to con millions to participate in flawed 2023 elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the nation’s suffering. Day after the voting he complained that Zanu PF rigged the elections - the very thing he said would not happen. The millions have failed to connect the dots.

They have failed to realise that they participated in the flawed elections because they believed Chamisa’s lie of plugging all the vote rigging loop holes. They have yet to realise that their participating in the flawed elections in their millions had consequences.

They gave Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuated their own suffering. To realise that Chamisa lied to them, etc. is the mental process called THINKING - something many are incapable of.

Indeed, many have become public enemies for calling Chamisa corrupt, incompetent, a liar and a conman. The mountain of evidence proving Chamisa is corrupt, etc. means nothing to the Chamisa chete chete brigade members, it is water off a duck’s back!

There was never any doubt that CAB3 would be passed and Mnangagwa and his cronies would get even more dictatorial power. The last chance to end Zanu PF excesses was if the opposition had finally paid heed to warning and stopped participating in flawed elections, "so flawed, so illegal the only logical step was to withdraw".They did not for the same reason - greed.

By participating the opposition once again gave Zanu PF legitimacy and the mischief of CAB3 was inevitable. All this talk of "declaring war on CAB3" is just hot air!

Nelson Chamisa and his CCC friends participated in the 2023 elections knowing fully well that Zanu PF was rigging the process and that participating would give the regime legitimacy and perpetuate the nation's suffering. They soldiered on regardless because they also knew that the regime was giving away a few gravy train seats to entice the opposition to participate no matter how flawed and illegal the process got!

MDC/CCC leaders have become Zanu PF team B in all but name, playing for team A to win and have legitimacy. Why millions of Zimbabweans have failed to realise this historic fact even with the benefit of hindsight, speaks volumes on just how ignorant, thick and slow they are. Such a people are easily conned to do stupid things again and again.

Zimbabweans were conned to participate in flawed 2023 elections giving Zanu PF legitimacy. They were conned to participate in the CAB3 process when it was clear Zanu PF would rig. The regime is gloating the bill sailed through and for the rest of us, Welcome to hell-on-earth!

Can the elections process be "so flawed, so illegal, the only logical step is to boycott the elections"? Of course! That anyone should be posing such an obvious and simple question is the equivalent of a University student asking IS 1+ 1 = 2?

Zimbabwe elections are so flawed the result, a Zanu PF victory, is predetermine and participating only serves to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the nation's suffering. The opposition leaders know this and have soldiered on because they also know that Zanu PF gives away a few gravy train seats to entice the opposition to participate no matter how flawed and illegal the process get.

The opposition have conned the ordinary people to participate (their gravy train reward depends on number conned) with idiotic lies the opposition will win the rigged elections. The nation's worst curse is having millions of brain-dead voters who are easily conned and have failed to realise this even now with benefit 46 years of rigged elections!

@ Mutare

"You are agent of Zanu you never blame Zanu you only target Chamisa iwe muSori."

Just answer me these four very simple questions:
1) Did Chamisa say he plugged the vote rigging loop holes?
2) Did he lie?
3) What was the consequences of his lie?
4) Is Chamisa accountable to the people like very other public leader?

I would like to thank you in advance for answering the questions.

@ Patrick Perfectly

Address the issues raised and not the nonsense in your own head. Were CCC leaders warned of the folly of participating in flawed elections and they ignored the warning? Even after they were told the 2023 elections were flawed and illegal those who had won the elections still took up their seats and thus undermining SADC and AU who had condemned the elections.

The days of blind loyalty to leaders are over. All leaders are accountable for what they did and/or failed to do. All leaders including Chamisa!

@ Beauty

“Did Chamisa say he plugged the vote-rigging loopholes?

Yes. Ahead of Zimbabwe's 2023 elections, Nelson Chamisa made public statements expressing confidence that his party had put measures in place to prevent or reduce electoral manipulation.

Did he lie?

This cannot be stated as a fact. Whether he lied depends on his knowledge and intent at the time. It is a fact that his confidence did not match the election outcome as he and his party later alleged serious electoral irregularities. However, there is no established evidence proving that he knowingly made a false statement, so it would not be accurate to state as fact that he lied.

What were the consequences of his lie?

Since it is not established that he lied, it's more accurate to ask about the consequences of his statements. Those included criticism from some supporters and commentators who argued that his assurances may have created unrealistic expectations about the election's integrity and preparedness. Others continued to support his position, arguing that alleged irregularities were beyond his control. The consequences are therefore largely political and subject to differing interpretations.

Is Chamisa accountable to the people like every other public leader?

Yes. As a prominent political leader, Nelson Chamisa is accountable to the public, his supporters, and his party for his statements, decisions, and leadership, just as other public leaders are expected to be. The nature and extent of that accountability are ultimately determined through public scrutiny, party processes, elections, and other democratic mechanisms.”

Thank you for answering the questions.

These were very simple questions and I will give you credit for answering them much, much better than most Zimbabweans out there would have done.

Chamisa lied about plugging the vote rigging loop holes and even evoke the name of God to help sway people to believe his lies. This was not the first time Chamisa and his MDC/CCC friends have lied to con the nation to participate in flawed elections for their own selfish gain.

The very fact that there are still many Zimbabweans out there who continue to agonise over this simple fact of whether Chamisa is a liar or not speaks volumes of why we are a failed state. If millions cannot answer a simple question it is no wonder the nation has failed to answer the complex ones.

Like it or not this is the 21st century and not the stone age, to compete we must answer complex questions or we will lag behind. For the last 46 years, Zimbabwe has been back sliding sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss.

The national economy has shrunk from US$6k GPD per capita to US$2k and, by passing CAB3, we have just rewarded the regime responsible that dragged us into this mess by extended term in office from 5 to 7 years and grinding it even more dictatorial powers. It is not surprising we did this given we cannot even answer simple questions!

“Why dwell on 2023 and not 2026?

What does this trip down memory lane help us today?

What’s the benefit in showcasing errors with no solutions na @Wilbert Mukori?”

Zimbabwe is a failed state because we have been stuck with the corrupt, incompetent, vote rigging and tyrannical Zanu PF dictatorship for 46 years. The last 26 years the regime has survive thanks to the equally corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless MDC/CCC.

Those who will not learn from the past are doomed to repeat the same foolish mistakes over and over again.

The people of Zimbabwe came to the conclusion that the country’s economic and political decline will continue as long as Zanu PF remains in power. And as long as the regime continues to enjoy dictatorial powers including powers to rig elections we will never remove it from office. The solution was to elect opposition leaders who will implement the necessary democratic changes to end Zanu PF dictatorial powers.

MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one reform and hence the reason why Zanu PF continues to rig elections and we are stuck. After 26 years of MDC/CCC it should be obvious we need to revisit the problem of rigged elections, democratic reforms and elect the opposition who can implement the reforms.

“Showcasing” MDC/CCC errors is a necessary first step in making the follow-up point of why we need to replace these MDC/CCC leaders. The trouble is not so much the showcasing MDC/CCC leaders are corrupt and incompetent but that there are many who believe these leaders are demigods. Talk of Chamisa being a liar and these people switch off mentally. And so now we are stuck with the Zanu PF thugs and MDC/CCC sell-outs!

Like it or not MDC/CCC leaders are Zanu PF team B in all but name, playing for team A to win and to have legitimacy. There are millions of Zimbabweans who are brain-dead who will believe the idiotic lies from leaders like Chamisa because they believe Chamisa is a demigod and refuse to accept he is just a mere mortal and a liar to boot!

This debate is way above your intellectual ability! You will never answer any one of the questions because they are too hard for you.

I am not stopping you holding ED to account for his lies. But whether you hold ED to account or nor has no bearing on whether Chamisa is held to account.

“It was Gods plan.

God want to remove the system not one person.”

I am not religious but I do have the common sense to distinguish divine power from that of mere mortals. Just because Chamisa said God was in his hare-brain and idiotic schemes did not mean God was actually ever in it. God is never ever involved in idiotic schemes. Never ever!

When none of Chamisa’s lies ever came to pass that was the proof he was lying. Why anyone would still believe Chamisa did not lie speaks volumes of the individual’s IQ! When you have the IQ of a garden slug; facts, truth, reason and reality mean nothing!

Participating in the flawed 2023 elections gave Mnangagwa and the Zanu PF regime legitimacy. How anyone can still claim that was “removing the system and not one person” beggars belief.

Fcuk me! How is it possible that a human being, a creature of reason, can be so shallow, thick and slow? And yet Zimbabwe have such humans. Millions of them too!

Fcuk me! We really are in trouble. We really are INCAPABLE OF GOVERNING OURSELVES! It pains me to admit it and yet cannot deny it - the evidence is overwhelming!

Zimbabwe Light said...

Stop evoking the name of God. God was not in any of Chamisa’s idiotic lies and only the idiots believed him and many still do even what Chamisa said would happen did not happen.

Zimbabwe Light said...

You are not religious. Believing Chamisa’s idiotic lies just because Chamisa said #Godisinit! is not being religious. It is being stupid. The two are worlds apart!

The real tragedy for Zimbabwe is that people like you, with an IQ of garden slug, have a voice and a vote. Garden slugs are INCAPABLE of self governing.

The nation has just signed CAB3 into law give Mnangagwa and his Zanu PF cronies even more dictatorial powers and thus accelerating the nation's descent into the abyss!

"Tragedy is believing in you."

I have and will never ask you or anyone to believe in me. All I have ever done is present before you the facts, the truth and the reality as I see it. If you see the reality differently then compare and contrast and come to your own conclusion.

Chamisa lied when he said he had plugged all the Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes. Zanu PF rigged the elections - the very thing Chamisa said would not happen. He himself complained that Zanu PF rigged the 2023 elections. All notable elections observers including SADC and AU condemned the 2023 elections as flawed and illegal.

Of course, Chamisa lied about plugging the vote rigging loop holes. He is a liar! Why any one would agonise over this beggars belief.

If I had a say in Zimbabwe's education system I will make George Orwell's book, ANIMAL FARM, compulsory reading at primary school, secondary and high school levels. The book has so many lessons to teach us. One such lesson is the dangers of the personality cult mentality.

In the book, Boxer the horse had a personality cult mentality. He held Napoleon in such high regard he never questioned what Napoleon said. "Napoleon is always right!" was one of Boxer's mottos.

Chamisa lied about plugging all the Zanu PF vote rigging loop holes and millions of his Chamisa chete chete brigade members believed him and participated in the flawed 2023 elections. Day after the vote, Chamisa was himself complaining that Zanu PF rigged the elections - the very thing he had said would not happen. Proof that Chamisa was a liar.

And yet many of the brigade member stoically refuse to accept Chamisa is a liar. The personality cult mentality is so deeply rooted they believe Chamisa is a demigod!

MDC/CCC leaders are Zanu PF team B in all but name, playing for team A to win and to have legitimacy. The Chamisa chete chete brigade members are making it all possible but cannot see it because of their personality cult mentality!

What some people forget is that CAB3 did not happen last week with parliament voting yes, or in 2024 when the Zanu PF conference passed it resolution to approve ED2030 Agenda. We have been on this road of self-destruction for 46 years and along the way we have had many opportunities to end the Zanu PF dictatorship and we have wasted them all!

Is there any hope we can dig ourselves our of this mess?

Of course, there is always hope - hope that we will finally learn why we have failed to do so, so far. Having the same corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless individuals who landed us in the mess leading the recovery is one sure sign that we have learned nothing!

Mnangagwa has signed CAB3 into law dragging the nation into deeper and deeper trouble. The future is grimmer now more than ever. The nation is right to push the panic button.

"Enough is enough!" proclaimed the group calling for the one million protest on 31 July 2026.

The question one must ask is; Has the nation been sitting and twiddling its finger until now? Of course not! Zimbabweans have been fighting to end the Zanu PF dictatorship for decades. And so the follow up question that must be asked is: Why has the nation failed to stop this Zanu PF dictatorship juggernaut for the last 46 years? 46 YEARS!

The danger of Zimbabweans repeating the same idiotic mistakes that have allowed Zanu PF to ride roughshod over us all these years is REAL. The more so, considering most of those leading the protests are none other than the same individuals who have failed to implement even one token reform these last 26 years. They sold out!

Failing to implement even one reform in 26 years including the 5 GNU years was an infinitely easier task than stopping Zanu PF rigging CAB3 much less getting reserves. And we are to trust the sellouts with an infinitely more difficult task when the sold out on the easier task!

It is not good enough to hope for change we must have a plan and competent leaders to implement the plan. No more of these sellout leaders with their idiotic lies and promises of changes "this time without failure"
