Prime Minister Tsvangirai’s answer to the security chiefs who have
called him a sell-out and worse is “let’s agree to disagree respectfully”.
"There are those who are pursuing chaos scenario, those who
are shouting on top of their voices that 'never should we allow this and that'
- let them. But that will not be the will of the people,” the PM argued.
The chaos scenario is upon us because the Zanu PF dictatorship is
alive and well and it is the one ruling the land!
PM Tsvangirai has had the chance to implement the democratic reforms; SADC
was on standby to pressure Mugabe to ensure the reforms are implemented. The PM
did not even get one reform implemented. If he had done so all this charade
with security chiefs and reporters at Herald House would not be taking place.
Instead of implementing the reforms, PM Tsvangirai chose to negotiate with
Mugabe and Zanu PF; MDC would allow the Zanu PF dictatorship to continue to
exist unchanged in return MDC leaders would be granted seats on the gravy
train.
MDC leaders were allowed to enjoy the spoils of power; the PM himself was
given a $ 4.5 million house for starters. Of course, the PM was naïve to
believe for a minute that Mugabe and the Zanu PF dictatorship would ever
consider MDC leaders as their equal much less ever allow any upstart like him,
as far as they were concerned, take the throne!
Those who choose to dine and wine with the devil need a long spoon! In this
case the PM has just discovered that his meal had been seasoned with a lot more
than the usual salt and pepper. The Chardonnay has not been totally agreeable
to our goat-herder cum Prime Minister!
Since the PM sold his very soul and the nation’s
future and hope to the devil; it is impossible to feel sorry for the treacherous
idiot!

Tsvangirai has too proved in the last five years that all he cares about is a seat on the gravy train. Just as much as Mugabe has failed not to see Tsvangirai for the incompetent sell-out he has proved to be is folly!
@ Zuda
MDC has had five years to implement all these job creating schemes and have not done so. What were they waiting for? Of course, this is an election gimmick.
@ Zvenyika
Even when the Copac constitution becomes law the chaos reigning in the country will continue. Do you not understand that obvious reality. What else do you want to see happen before you will finally open you eyes to that reality.
Do you know what you trouble is? You have your head buried in the sand, thats what!
We have known what is in the new constitution since the three parties agreed to it on 17 th January 2013, you brain dead nincompoop! Mugabe's signature is not going to add or subtract anything. These idiots should have worked all the details of the alignments so that the as soon as the new constitution was assented they replace the old Acts with the new ones.
I have never said the "country was democratized" only a nincompoop like you would say such nonsense in the face of all the evidence to the contrary. All these delays are not going to make any difference as to the conduct of the elections and therefore it is pointless delaying the elections.
These GNU idiots have had the full five years of parliamentary life and they have achieved nothing. Absolutely nothing! Only nincompoops like you would want to extend their stay in parliament one day longer!
It is worthless, brain dead nincompoops like you Yepec who have made it possible for tyrants like Mugabe and incompetent leaders like Tsvangirai to bring the country to ruin. I curse the tyrant and incompetent leaders but I curse nincompoops even more. You should stop going around with you head stuck in Tsvangirai's back side! It is a disgusting habit and worse still you are fouling up the debate with your idiotic comments!
@ Chimbwido
I know MDC's incompetence has been Mugabe and Zanu PF's saving grace; MDC have been nothing but Mugabe's "pikinini boys and girls"! I have told you before, the crying need for implementing democratic reforms in Zimbabwe and end the corruption and political oppres-sion is still there and it will be done.
I concede that Mugabe has won the last ten-year battle for democratic change, thanks to MDC's breathtaking incompetence. But let me tell you now that Zanu PF won the battle and not the war; it is only wishful on Zanu PF's part to think this was the last and final battle!
Yes you can laugh now but remember he who laughs last, laughs the longest! We both know who will be laughing last and will only do so after seeing some murderers with the hangman’s rope round their necks! Then you can do all the laughing in hell; somehow, I do not see you doing that.
@ Oscar
Just because Mugabe has turned out to be a neurotic tyrant and Tsvangirai to be an incompetent and indecisive leader is not in itself proof that there are no black Zimbabweans with a bit of grey stuff between their ears, enough to rule the country without bringing it to further ruin!
I agree that whilst most of the people are given to spending most of their time with their heads buried in the sand, it is near impossible for competent leaders to emerge. Well, have given myself the task of kicking these people in the backside. Trust me it is working; it is impossible to continue burying one's head in the sand whilst one's backside is being kicked hard. On this site, brain dead Yepec and murderous Chimbwido will testify to that!
“On national healing, conference is very clear that the state should apologise, should compensate, should pay reparations to all victims of violence that we have seen in this country including and in particular Gukurahundi, Murambatsvina, and the violence we saw in 2008,” said MDC-T secretary general and Finance Minister Tendai Biti.
The national economy is in a total mess, government does not have the money to pay civil servants living wages, basic public services like education and health have but col-lapsed because of the chronic lack of funds and MDC is proposing new unstated public expenditure. This is just vote buying, pure and simple!
Police last night disrupted a cluster meeting at the on-going MDC-T National Policy Conference, citing security concerns.
This is what comes of failing to implement the democratic reforms and MDC have only themselves to blame for the failure. But, as is always the case in these situations, it is the people of Zimbabwe who are paying dearly for it by being deny a meaningful say in the governance of the country and hope to end the suffering of living in this hell-hole Mugabe landed the nation.
The nation must now decide what to do about this totally meaningless charade of an election process!
