The Zimbabweans are starting to pay the heavy price for their folly of following the incompetent Tsvangirai!

“The families of eight farm workers near Chegutu are reported to be homeless and living on the roadside after the illegal owner of the farm destroyed their houses last week and assaulted some of the women who tried to resist,” reported S W Radio Africa.

The workers are accused of having voted for MDC is the July elections.

Of course the economic hardships are affecting all Zimbabweans regardless of party affiliations. With unemployment seating at a nauseating 90% even Zanu PF’s bussed in multiple voters must be feeling the pitch!

Zimbabweans are beginning to pay for their folly; approving a weak and feeble Copac constitution and following blindly an incompetent and blundering leader like Morgan Tsvangirai was folly of the first degree.

If the people had been paying attention they would have seen that MDC was getting them nowhere. They should have listened to reason warning them against approving the Copac constitution without even reading it. Rejecting the Copac rubbish was the very last chance to force GNU to implement the agreed democratic reforms, the only guarantee for free, fair and credible elections and if not a competent government then an accountable one at least.

The weak and feeble Copac constitution open the door for Mugabe to rig the elections and today we have the same corrupt and oppressive Zanu PF cabal back in office.

The future is grime and it is set to get a hell-lot worse; that is certain. What is not so certain is whether it will ever get better for there is not even an inkling of a light to mark the end of the tunnel. Indeed, any light is more likely to be from a run-away freight train and not from the end of the tunnel!

There are reports that teachers who run for office in the July council and parliamentary elections on an MDC ticket are being dismissed from their civil servant job regardless of whether they win or lost the elections.

This is really tragic but not altogether unexpected; we have an illegitimate regime that has no regard for the law or rule of law. It is a great pity that all these MDC teachers did not have the common sense to realize that the elections were not going to be free, fair and credible. It was clear to see given that not even one democratic reform had been implemented.

If the teachers are too stupid to see such simple realities then what chance does the ordinary villager in the backwaters of rural Zimbabwe of comprehending anything! Teachers used to be the pillars of the community, the fountains of knowledge; everyone listened to them and followed their lead. Times have changed; it was the teachers who have blindly followed blundering Tsvangirai, cheering and applauding!

Zimbabwe is in this mess because there are no men and women of quality and integrity to led. The very people the nation would expect to lead, the teachers, law-professors, etc. are them-selves so naïve and stupid they have been sheepish following a blundering idiot Tsvangirai on the one hand and a murderous tyrant Mugabe on other!

Where have all the true heroes and heroines gone? God, we desperately need some quality leaders!

Mugabe explained that the ministry of psychomotor was about teaching students “life skills” after Josiah Hungwe Ministrer of State for Liaising on Psychomotor Activities in Education had failed to explain what he was supposed to be doing.

What "life skill" does Mugabe know? Here is the man who has Zimbabwe from one of the richest countries in Africa into one of the poorest. Mismanagement, corruption, looting, rigging elections and terrorizing and murdering innocent Zimbabweans is all he knows!

@ Museyamwa

What are the ordinary Zimbabweans; do you think rigging elections and denying them a meaningful vote all these last 33 years is being respectful? Mugabe rigged the elections the whole world knows that; he is a thug and must be treated accordingly!

Now about those sanctions; the West must look at extending them to catch all these vote rigging thugs and their acolytes and laser focus the sanctions so that they real feel the heat this time!

Vote rigging is a very serious crime and Mugabe must not be allowed to get away with it; not this time!

@ Millaz

The root causes of Zimbabwe's economic and political mess are mismanagement, corruption, looting and political repression. Sanctions do not even feature in the top 1 000 list! And who is behind each and everyone of the real causes; Mugabe and his Zanu PF thugs.

If anything, the sanctions are helping focus the nation and the international's mind on Mugabe and his cronies. No, the sanctions must stay and be extended to catch some of the regime's idiotic supporters like you!

@ Mullaz

Why ask me; ask Tsvangirai that!

Is that you reason why you have been making all this huhah about sanctions; because Tsvangirai, that nincompoop, asked for them to be lifted!

You are a nincompoop yourself! I am not cursing you, I am telling the truth!

@ Mullaz

Anyone who supports a vote rigging and murderous tyrant in destroying his own country and people is a nincompoop! What else would you call such a person?!

It seems Zimbabwe has more than its fair share of such nincompoops; they are all my fellow country men and women and indeed many of them are blood relations. That does not change the fact that they are nincompoops and, thanks to all you nincompoops them, the country is in a real mess.

@ George

You are unbelievably stupid; do you want to tell me Zimbabwe is a better place today than it was in 1980?

The tragedy of having a tyrant like Mugabe destroying the country is that he has made the days of colonial exploitation and discrimination look like the "golden age"! And idiots like you should open your eyes and see things as they are instead of spending all your days with your heads buried in the backside of tyrants like Mugabe!

Your relative could not cook and you can not think; what a family of helpless idiots!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Ngwenya

Ngwenya, what do you mean; "there is bad blood between Zimbabwe and the US" as if both parties have done something wrong? If you do not believe Mugabe rigged the elections then you must be as blind as a blind-mole!

You talk of "the US’s refusal to recognise the outcome of the July 31st elections," as if these were elections in some far away place. We are talking about elections in Zimbabwe here; elections whose outcome rigged or otherwise has a profound effect on millions of Zimbabweans today and for generations to come.

Do you, Rejoice Ngwenya, not have an opinion of your own on these elections?

Rigging elections is a very serious crime, it is treason! Those Zimbabweans who treat vote rigging as if it is nothing more than a minor traffic violation are a disgrace to the nation and should do us all a favour and shut up!

@ Kofi

If African victims could get justice in their own countries, there would be no need for the Interna-tional Criminal Court (ICC) to step in, former UN secretary general Kofi Annan said. He was responding to calls by some African leaders’ allegations that the ICC was “unfairly targeting” the continent’s leaders.

"And we must always have the courage to ask ourselves 'who speaks for the victims'?" he argued.

This is the best thing Kofi Annan has ever said and done in all his years in high office! We should not forget that he was the highest ranking UN official on the ground in Rwanda when the blood shed that saw millions butchered in that country whilst the world body stood by twiddling its thumbs!

Tsvangirai has started going after all the MDC leaders who have been calling for him to go. Former Marondera Central MP, Ian Kay, has receiving his marching orders. Kay and Roy Bennett have been some of the leaders who have publicly called for the change of the top leadership.

Tendai Biti and Elias Mudzuri are considered “treacherous elements”, according to Job Sikhala, although the two have said nothing publicly so far. Even after this catastrophic failure of leadership Biti, Mudzuri and all the others have said nothing; they are still on the gravy train and that is all that matters. Indeed if any of them had spoken out when it was abundantly clear Tsvangirai was taking the nation into the lion’s den, when the later had approved the weak and feeble Copac constitution for example; the nation could have been saved. They kept their traps tightly shut!

Tsvangirai should just go back to herding goats in Buhera and not waste our time. As for the rest of the MDC leaders they can go jump into the Zambezi River and let’s hope the crocs get the lot! The nation has a task and a half to clear the mess he made!

@ Kwv

Is that you excuse for following an idiot like Tsvangirai? They followed him because the people did not know where they were going; they have always followed blindly, it is the nation's forte!

Do not worry about who the people will follow next, there are more idiots like Tsvangirai and tyrants like Mugabe in Zimbabwe; when you are blind you just follow who cares WHO is leading or where they are leading you to! There were 28 political parties in the July 2013 elections, the nation will be spoilt for choice!

@ Softguy

Why did Tsvangirai allow Mugabe to rig the elections as if the tyrant was taking away sweets from a child. Tsvangirai had five years to implement the reforms and failed to get even one reform implemented and thus allowing Mugabe to rig the elections. If you would take your head out of Tsvangirai's arse for just one hour you would see just how incompetent Tsvangirai is.

Tsvangirai president; is that supposed to be a joke?!

I thought MDC's core objective was to bring DEMOCRATIC CHANGE in Zimbabwe. If it was and still is then Tsvangirai has failed dismally to deliver that and having failed, it is logical that any self- respecting member of MDC would be calling for him to go.

If Tsvangirai was not such a self-seeking idiot; he should have done the decent thing and resigned. He is so incompetent he does not even see just how utterly hopeless he is. If he does then he is like Mugabe; he created the mess and yet believes he is the only competent to sort out the mess.

Zimbabwe will never get out of this mess unless they are men and women with the political spine and vision to stand up to leaders like Tsvangirai and Mugabe and look them straight in the eye and tell them "You have failed and it is time to go!"

As for Mugabe the old crow must be told, "You rigged the elections, you are no-president!" None of all this pussyfooting nonsense!

@ Chimbwido

Over 4 million Zimbabweans have left the country to escape the economic chaos and political terror from Mugabe and his thugs. Even Zanu PF diehards like you have had to do your remote farming activities from UK.

I want you to face the victims you "kicked in the teeth until they bleed profusely" as you have often boasted in a court of law. If you are convicted, you will hang Chimbwido that you can be sure of.

The Zanu PF dictatorship is nothing but a paper tiger, I am not afraid of paper tigers. I will go back to Zimbabwe alright; besides I have to personally see to it that thugs like you face justice! I can not trust an idiot like Tsvangirai with such an important task, not after the mess he has done!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Rocky

You are right about "battling a ruthless dictatorship" but has it ever occurred to you that MDC has lost one battle after another because the party has an incompetent leader? You should learn to think out of the box and stop this tunnel vision!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Muktar

I agree with all you said about Mugabe and Zanu PF and how the tyrant has used fear and brutal force to try to retain power.

I say try because if MDC had implemented the agreed democratic reforms then Mugabe would have failed to rig the last elections. If the people themselves had not followed Tsvangirai like sheep then they would have rejected the weak and feeble Copac constitution and thus force the GNU to implement the reforms first before holding the elections.

Yes Mugabe has used violence to retain power but we the people have made it infinitely easy for him to do so by being political immature and naïve!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Kwv

I have told you there are 28 political parties in Zimbabwe as of the last elections; pick you pick who you want to be the "alternative". The question is irrelevant in that there are 28 for you to pick from, so why ask!

We have an electorate that followed blindly Mugabe for 15 years before it finally dawned on them that Mugabe was a murderous tyrant. What did they do, the embraced Tsvangirai an incompetent idiot and even with hindsight many of them still think he the best thing since sliced bread!

As long as you have an electorate that does not have the foggiest idea where they are, where they are going, how and when they will get there and would willing follow any idiot or tyrant who puts his/her name forward claiming they have the answers to all their questions; the name of the idiot or tyrant is irrelevant. What matters is the people are once again setting themselves for yet another disappointment!

@ Reason

Do you accept that Tsvangirai failed to get even one democratic reform implemented and thus opened the door for Mugabe to rig the elections? If you do; then after such a catastrophic failure, why would you want the idiot to be president? If you do not believe Tsvangirai failed in any way then all I can say is you are even more stupid than I thought!

"Tsvangirai is not going anywhere b4 ruling Zimbabwe!" Only a certified nincompoop would say that! Sadly for Zimbabwe we have many of them, hence the reason the nation is in this mess and is stuck!

Why don't you just change your name from "Reason" to Nincompoop, it suits you better and jellies well with what you say!

@ Brian

Raftopoulos has said some nonsense in the past but this time he has out done himself. No one will ever take his report seriously. We all know not even one democratic reform was implement-ed, we saw with our own eyes voters being bussed in and voting in constituencies where they were complete strangers, etc.

No one, absolutely no one is their right mind was even bothered to "get evidence" of the vote rigging by Mugabe it was there for all to see. What Mugabe should have done is have the bussed voters arrested and charged and thus publicly show the world that he was outraged by such blatant vote rigging shenanigans and that his party had nothing to do with it. Of course not even one of the bussed voters was ever questioned much less punished; further proof, if any such proof was required, that Mugabe and Zanu PF were behind all these vote rigging dirty tricks!

Mugabe rigged the July 2013 elections and that is a fact!
