Grace cannot always have her cake and eat it too - give Mugabe walking stick or he will fall again!

Sources told the Daily News on Sunday yesterday that so angry was Grace - whom Mugabe has said is recuperating from a minor operation in Singapore - that she had allegedly demanded the heads of all the implicated people to roll, including those of some security details.

"She was raving mad when she heard of the incident and felt that his aides and security team were negligent in this unfortunate issue,” said the source.
Such is the vicissitude of demigods; they are used to having their cake and eating it and they will get be raving mad the odd occasion when their wishes are simply impossible to meet.
As a child one quickly learns that one can either eat one’s cake of keep it to eat later but cannot have both. But when you are demigods like the Mugabes they learnt that they can demand an extravagant $ 5 million wedding, for example, but not have not suffer the curse we ordinary mortals have to suffer – paying the bill.
The Mugabes had the $1 million birthday bash for Mugabe and two weeks later has the $5 million wedding for his daughter at the time 100 children below the age of five were dying every day across the nation of preventable diseases. The nation had no funds to buy the necessary vaccines for the children but had the money to pay for Mugabe’s birthday party and wedding.
Mugabe and his cronies have continued to enjoy unparalleled luxuries at public expense. The ordinary people have been forced to give up their food, medicine, clean running water and many other basic necessities of life so the ruling elite can have their luxuries; the ruling elite just took whatever they wanted and the ordinary people really had no democratic say in the matter, period.
Grace Mugabe went on the rampage last August to crash plans within Zanu PF to have Mugabe replaced. What was clear was that the then Vice President Joice Mujuru was set to win that position at the party’s December 2014 elective congress since she had the backing of all nine out of the ten provinces. Grace’s fear was that Mujuru may use her solid party backing to force Mugabe to give up the presidency too of the grounds that at 90 years, he was too old to continue.
Grace wanted Mugabe to remain president went raving mad at the thought of Mugabe giving up the presidency; he was fit and strong to continue as far as she was concerned. So she wanted Mujuru stopped from getting the VP position and went straight for Mujuru’s the jugular vein and landed her kill.
So after carrying out a ruthless campaign to promote her husband as fit to continue as president now, three months later, she is admitting that he is not fit after all.
"As any spouse would do, she is clearly fearful that things could have turned really nasty on the day given the president's age and state of health, and is thus keen to see that this is never repeated,” the source said.
"She (Grace Mugabe) is angry because President Mugabe's staff knew very well that he has difficulty walking, especially climbing and walking down steps, but did not appear to have factored this in at the airport,” said the official.
Other than dyeing Mugabe’s hair jet black, pump him full of the Botox and all manner of drugs to keep him awake there is very little else anyone can do to stop a 90 year old walking like a 90 year old.
Grace Mugabe will have to accept that Mugabe is old and needs a walking aid if does not want me seen in public using the walking aid then she will have to accept that he will stumble and fall again. She can rant and rave all she likes but this time she will have to accept that there at times when even the demigods like her cannot have their cake and eat it too!

@ Patrick

So the likes of Mai Mujuru, Gumbo, Mutasa and many others who supported them have lost their jobs because they suggested that Mugabe was old. And now Mugabe's security details are losing their jobs be-cause they failed to recognize that Mugabe was old! Whatever happens we ordinary mortals will be blamed and punished for the demigods themselves are always right no matter that they say or do!

We ordinary mortals’ rights and needs count not at all; we are here to serve the demigods pleasure and temperaments which change like the wind changes directions.

The lie that Mugabe is fit is just one of the spider's thread in the web of lies this regime have woven over the years and Mugabe and all the Zanu PF ruling elite are caught in the web of their own making. Mugabe is no more physically fit than he is mentally fit to run the economic.

If the national economy was booming the nation would happily allow him to continue ruling even if he could not stand up. With the economy in a mess even if his Singapore doctor was to inject him with the mythical eternal youth drugs so he would beat Usan Bolt in a 100 m race the nation will be mourning the wasted drug and the denied pleasure of seeing fall again!

As long as the economic meltdown continues Mugabe can have his physical health back, people will still hate him with the same burning passion they have shown these last week. His physical frailty has become the tangible manifestation of the mental decay the people know has been there for decades, the elephant in the room no one dared to mention. By demanding that Mugabe must retire because of his physical frailty the people know they will not just get rid of the tick but the elephant too.

@ Alex Magaisa

And since you did not advice MDC to implement not even one reform that would have resulted in Mugabe being remove it is clear that Mugabe is a hero to you Alex Magaisa!

You age really trying hard to remain relevant; you are thinking of landing another cushy Chief Political Adviser job? Tsvangirai, your former boss, could not keep you after the 31 July 2013 political washout - thanks to your stupid advice not to implement the reforms he is now living on zero annual income!

Are you sending him something? Not even a Christmas card! Yap Mugabe is your hero already, no doubt you bank your salary from MDC in the same bank account as your CIO pay; not that Tsvangirai would have ever noticed, he was too busy chasing women of ill repute to notice anything of substance!

Mugabe has been lucky to have village idiots in the opposition and in his own party whose breath-taking incompetence has always made him look like he is a genius. Look at the economy and you will see a dif-ferent Mugabe. Look at the state of Zimbabwe's economy and you immediately know the mental state of the man who has presided over it.

Mugabe’s physical frailty has confirmed the mental frailty too and, this time, the people will look at the economy and not think of anyone else. Trust me not even the Zanu PF hardliners can pretend Mugabe is a full shilling now! No politically Mugabe is more than a lame duck he is a dead duck!

@ Patrick

As long as the electorate's understanding of issue over which the politician has failed is superficial at best then the politician will not need to apologize much less bow low and resign.

Having said that, I would be the first to admit that MDC leaders must be wishing they had resigned over their failure to implement the reforms because they have failed to bury their failure. Each time they have tried to re-launch their political careers their failure to implement even one reform have come back again and again and derailed them. Next time they would seriously think twice before accepting any bribes!

As more and more companies are forced to close government will collect less in revenue and will have even less cash to pay the workers. Today it is the State University lecturers who are not being paid and the soldiers who have been forced to take a month leave after each month at work. Tomorrow will be someone else.

Hurumende yopona nehwaku mukwaku seguguvo! (The regime is surviving by hoping around like a crow. This is an example of how not to run the nation's affairs!

The economic situation will only get worse. The only way out is for Mugabe to step down so the nation to go back and implement ALL the democratic reforms and then hold free, fair and credible elections. Mugabe has attached himself to state house like a binnacle to a rock but he has the simple choice of stepping down peacefully or be priced off violently by crashing the binnacle with a rock!
