President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa has commissioned trucks and tractors under an empowerment programme targeting children of Zimbabwe’s liberation war veterans.
His Excellency President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, through ZANU PF Central Committee Member Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwirei, has donated US$1 MILLION IN CASH and 10 BRAND-NEW VEHICLES to the Children of Veterans of the Liberation Struggle.IWE WOSVORA?
Zimbabwe is a failed state and one of the obvious consequence of this is the growing number of Zimbabweans living in abject poverty. A recent WB report place Zimbabwe in the top ten poorest countries with 49.2% of our people living in extreme poverty, living on US$3 or less per day.
The 49.2% drag-net has many war veterans and their children. Zanu PF ruling elite have conned the war veterans to abandon the values of the liberation war of freedom, liberty and equality for all in favour of the more short-sighted and selfish ethos that Zanu PF has the divine right to rule the country. By right of conquest! A corrupt, incompetent, vote rigging and murderous Zanu PF accountable to no one is the root cause Zimbabwe is a failed state.
Mugabe, Mnangagwa and the rest of the Zanu PF ruling elite have conned the war veterans to support the Zanu PF dictatorship regardless of the mountain of evidence the regime was dragging the nation deeper and deeper into the abyss. The war veterans were assured that no matter what happened to the economy, they as war veterans, will always be taken care of as long as they continue to support Zanu PF blindly.
Hundreds of thousands of war veterans and children of war veterans are living in abject poverty. Mnangagwa has tried to woo the war veterans and the children of war veterans with bribes and so-called economic empowerment projects the maths simply do no add up!
10 cars, US$1 million cash, 3 lorries and three tractors gifted to a select few will silence children of war veterans, yes. The gifts will not economically empower them. Assuming there are 10 000 of these children in each of the 10 provinces; so each will get US$10! FM!

Cure Zimbabwe of the double curse of rigged elections and bad governance and the country has a chance to live to its real full potential - to be the South Korea of Africa. It is a great pity that the war veterans, in their infantile stupidity, abandoned the liberation war values that would have stop the Zanu PF dictatorship died without ever taking root. Zimbabwe is a failed state precisely because they sold out and to this day many still believe the idiotic lie that that Zanu PF has the divine right to rule as they wait for the regime to finally economical empower them, lifting them out of poverty!

GOKWE - Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Midlands, Hon. Owen Ncube has hailed His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Commander in Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces and incoming COMESA Chairman, Cde Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, for declaring war on fake and expired products.
Giving his welcome remarks at the 2026 Annual Consumer Conference at Vendors Ground, Gokwe South Centre today, Hon. Ncube said the Second Republic under the able and visionary stewardship of President Mnangagwa took a bold and strategic policy decision to protect consumers while transforming community livelihoods and growing the economy.
He said Government is now confronting head-on business mal-practices that include sale of expired products, adulterated foods, counterfeiting, smuggling and short mass in re-packaged goods such as sugar.
"These malpractices erode competitiveness, distort fair market dynamics and endanger consumer safety," Hon. Ncube said.
The Minister said the conference, running under the theme _"Safe Products for Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth, anchored in Consumer Protection,"_ reflects President Mnangagwa's people-centred leadership which is now being recognised at regional level.
He said bringing the annual conference to Gokwe underscores the New Dispensation's commitment to devolution and decentralisation and the mantra of leaving no one and no place behind.."

Mnangagwa was forced to abandon a Zanu PF extra-ordinary politburo meeting whose primary task was to amend the party's constitution in line with the recently passed Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 (CAB3) which extended Mnangagwa's stay in office by 2 more years plus 9 other amendments.
VP Chiwenga objected to the meeting arguing that CAB3 was was an imposition on the party and nation. His critics argued that party's conference resolutions approved the amendments. Chiwenga reminded everyone that the party resolution approved the amendment to extend Mnangagwa's term but not the other 9 items in CAB3. He is right!
CAB3 might well be Mnangagwa's undoing, he has signed it into law and therefore cannot abandon it now. And yet he cannot deny it is an obnoxious law seeking to grant himself and his Zanu PF cronies even more dictatorial powers at the expense of common good. Zimbabweans must insist on 2028 presidential and parliamentary elections and thus render CAB3 null and void!

Zanu-PF extra-ordinary politburo meeting that was supposed to discuss changes to the Zanu-PF constitution to align it with the mutilated national constitution was abandoned after Chiwenga, declared that the changes were illegal since they were based on provisions from an illegally changed national constitution.
This press conference was supposed to report on the decisions of the meeting and was instead devoted restating the propaganda lies that CAB3 was universally accepted and to attacking those who dared to object CAB3.
Chris Mutsvangwa was right in admitting that Zimbabwe was a pariah state user Mugabe. He is lying that the status has changed under Mnangagwa. Indeed, if anything Zimbabwe is worse off now that during Mugabe’s days. Corruption was bad under Mugabe, it has gone into overdrive under Mnangagwa. CAB3 has turned a de facto one-party dictatorship into a de jure one-party dictatorship. The Minister returned in time for the country's no-expense spared independence celebration! ESAP was a cost cutting programme for Pete's sake!

In 2002 Mugabe condemned the white farmers for having 23 plus farms and justified Zanu PF's land redistribution especially to the landless blacks! The reality is the seized white farms were dished out to the Zanu PF ruling elite and their cronies, Mugabe's own daughter owned 21 farms covering the land mass of Lesotho and yet millions of blacks in the rural areas continue to be denied title deeds to even one acre of land!

Patrick Chanamasa, a senior Zanu PF leader, warned Mnangagwa that passing CAB3 would required two referendums, the dictator did not listen. Passing the amendment with no referendum has weaponised CAB3.
