ZSD support MDC supporters demand to recall EU Ambassador but ask supporters to look in the mirror!

The ZSD support the Saturday 12 July 2014 demonstration by MDC-T supporters demanding the recall of the EU Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Aldo Dell'Ariccia following his blatant lies that there was no leadership crisis in Zimbabwe. However we would like the MDC supporters to take a hard look in the mirror too.

Whereas Ambassador Aldo Dell’Ariccia’s remarks have caused a destabilizing wave in a pond it is nothing compared to the tsunami that hit the nation because MDC failed to implement the democratic reforms necessary for free, fair and credible elections!

MDC supporters have failed to understand that it was their party that betrayed the nation by failing to get the democratic reforms implemented. The party had the majority in the GNU parliament and in cabinet and had five years to implement the reforms but failed to get even one reform implemented.

“The Harare regime has not only failed to do even one of the above (progress on verification of the voter’s roll, liberalization of the media, and completing outstanding reforms, including those related to the security sectors), but also refused to implement constitutional amendments passed by Parliament, which would protect free and fair elections," Paul Kazingizi told New Zimbabwe.

The people of Zimbabwe wanted free and fair elections in 2013 and not in the distance future and therefore it is nonsense that MDC is calling for the verification of the voters roll after the election when they did not do so before the elections.

The new Copac constitution, “the brain child of MDC” Tsvangirai claimed at the time, was meant to deliver free and fair elections in 2013 and not dependent on the parliament that emerged after the elections to then implement amendments “which would protect free and fair elections”!

If these MDC supporters were as awake then they should have demanded the recall of Tsvangirai and his team years ago for their breath-taking incompetent. Then Mugabe would not have rigged the 2013 elections landing the nation in all this mess!

Conclusion

As long as MDC supporters continue to see the speck in other people’s eyes but would not see the log in their own eyes then no one, especially the international community, will take them seriously!

You should speak for yourself and not assume to speak for the nation.

Those who have cheered and applauded Mugabe and Tsvangirai whilst the two amigos took us down this ruinous path have per se shown that they too are as confused as the two amigos. Zimbabwe has a population of 12 million to suggest that only the two amigos and their acolytes have a solution is nonsense.

People like you have been so thoroughly brainwashed by Mugabe you cannot believe anyone else other than the tyrant can lead the nation. Let me tell you here and now anyone of those 12 million Zimbabweans can be president and do a better job than the mess Mugabe has done. The only thing the would-be president has to do is win a free, fair and credible election; something the corrupt and murderous tyrant has never done!

"We shall find our own solutions," and you call retaining in power the two amigos who landed the nation into this hell-on-earth a solution? It is called folly or stupid, since you are counting that word!

There was a typing error the heading should read "If Mugabe fudges reform talks he (not the) will face empty ZimAsset bowl for a long time!”

But are you not making a mountain out of a mole hill? Are you only capable of see the superficial and latch on to that like a barnacle to a rock and never to see the substantive issues? Of course that would explain why many Zimbabweans out there were clamouring for change which out having the foggiest idea what changes the wanted. Have followed Tsvangirai blindly like sheep to the slaughter. He got his he and the correct and that was all that mattered!

No wonder the country is in a real mess; we have more than our fair share of some of the shallowest people in the world!

Yes it should have been he and not the; that is all you picked! The country is in serious trouble people are suffering and dying and all you have to contribute is a syntax error?! God give me the patience!

"These two institutions (IMF and WB) have never been and will never bring salvation to the economic problems confronted by the African continent". That is just you being your usual proverbial-frog who boasted of putting out the forest fire with his fart. The political reality is Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa has been begging for IMF and WB. They told him to fcuk off of course; no bank will want to throw good money in a black-hole!
The Americans refused to accept the results of a blatantly rigged 2013 elections and they have refused to move from that position (unlike some other countries).

SADC and AU thought that by accepting Mugabe’s rigged elections they would have Zimbabwe off the agenda. Zimbabwe’s economic meltdown is forcing these bodies to revisit Zimbabwe yet again and they all know it was foolish of them to have accepted the rigged elections in the first place because Mugabe would now want to hang on to power when they know that the only opinion now is for the tyrant to go! No GNU, no talks; just go!

Mugabe has failed to get even one Yuan into the ZimAsset begging bowl and staring at that empty begging bowl is doing his head in. The reality that the worsen economic situation cannot go on for much longer without risking riots or worse has helped focus the tyrant's mind. He accepts that he cannot do anything about either these issues and now he is hoping that someone else can.

Mugabe is inviting Tsvangirai because he knows with twiddle-dumb he will retain all power. The political reality is different; economic recovery is now totally dependent on him giving up power. We must have regime change this time and no more halfway house this time. In short both Mugabe and Tsvangirai are out!

The economic meltdown in Zimbabwe has reached the point where millions are out of work, there is no running water, government cannot pay civil servants, etc. This cannot be allowed to go on for much longer without risked nationwide riots and worse! Zimbabwe cannot afford the luxury of letting Mugabe stay in power until his death just to gratify his ego and greed!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ John West
The economic meltdown is real and it is affecting real people; it is ok for you to ignore it but if are the one who has no job, no running water and is living on nothing-a-day you will not think of nothing else.

Mugabe has tried to ignore the empty ZimAsset begging bowl for a year but it is doing his head in. Even a tyrant like him knows that his regime's days are number if he cannot pay civil servants and has to send soldiers on two weeks forced leave every month!

You are just one of those Zanu PF supporters who have yet to realise that the regime is collaps-ing because its political and economic model was unsustainable! The regime is curving in on it-self because the core is rotten. It is collapsing regardless of whether you understand what is going on or not!

“I stopped reading after the first two paragraphs!” So what; the economic meltdown will continue and history will match on regardless what you do, John West. Ndiwe ani pauri ipapo; tsuro zvayo hakafuka nzeve dzayo!

The real rabid jackals Mugabe has faced these last 12 months is the empty ZimAsset begging bowl and the economic consequences of his failure to get even one Yuan from the Chinese. If you can tell him how to shoot that jackal then he will give you a seized white-owned farm even if it meant doing the njambanja himself!

Do you think that Mugabe would have ever agreed to talks and sharing power if it was just a matter of "shooting" someone? After all we are dealing with the man who has "degrees in violence" as he has often boasted in the past.

Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! That is all you can think of! Shoot what? And it is light out!

@ roving Eagle

1) What were the democratic reforms?

2) Why were they important?

3) How were these reforms to be implemented?

If you know the answers to those three questions then you will understand why it was Tsvangirai and not Mugabe who was supposed to implement the reforms, that he did nothing and why it was suicidal for him to have taken part is the elections without the reforms!

The trouble with most people is that they have never answered and understood any of the questions above. Last year's rigged elections should have forced them to ask what had happened which would have led them back to the three questions above. Sadly that has never happened.

Zimbabweans, it seems, have one characteristic in common with pigs; they both love love wal-lowing in mud. The pig to cool itself and the human wallow in the mud of ignorance to escape having to answer tough questions! How else can one explain the complete lack of curiosity bor-dering on indifference as to how Mugabe had managed to blatantly rig the elections?

The failure to seat back and understand what had gone wrong during the GNU years means the nation learnt nothing from the MDC blunders. Whilst Mugabe admission that he has fails pre-sents the nation a new opportunity to have the reforms implemented this will not happen because the people still do not understand why the reforms are necessary.

None of the three questions are difficult to answer, it is not rocket science, all that is required is a bit of effort and common sense. To someone who likes wallowing in ignorance one might just as well be talking of Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity to a grade one child!

@Wasu Pa internet

Biti and Mangoma were MDC-T's negotiators but when it comes to implementing the democratic reforms no MDC leader can say they did not know what these reforms were without proving the point that they are incompetent because the reforms were so important.

It is like being to the sea and then say one does not know the sea. You will not see the fish or whale but if you have eyes to see then you will have seen the vast water, heard the waves, felt the sea breeze, etc. The GNU was formed to implement democratic reforms and write a new democratic constitution so there could be fresh free, fair and credible elections everything else were add-ons.

Biti and Mangoma are as guilty Tsvangirai and the others for failing to implement the reforms. They only reason why they failed to get even one reform implemented is that they were all breathtakingly incompetent.

As far as I am concerned failing to implement the reforms turned all the MDC leaders, Tsvangirai, Ncube, Biti, the lot into skunks. No amount of bathing in scented waters and splashings with Channel 5 can change the fact that MDC leaders are breathtakingly incompetent - skunks!

We are looking for a way out of this mess so why would you want Mugabe, who got us into this mess in the first place, to play a role. Everything hinges on getting the democratic reforms implemented; after their breath-taking incompetence last time only a fool would trust MDC to implement the reforms!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Roving Eagle

You keep wittering about Biti "sitting at the negotiating table" as if that matters. Are you saying Tsvangirai signed the GPA without knowing what was in the agreement and, after five years in the GNU, Tsvangirai still did not have a clue what reforms were supposed to be implemented! You really do not have a clue what we are talking about here do you!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Donhodzo

SADC also warned MDC not to take part in the elections without the reforms but did not listen. In any case, if anyone in MDC was competent, then they should have seen the danger themselves. What the devil were they doing for five years if they could not see the danger of Mugabe rigging the elections again!

The trouble with so many of these Tsvangirai supporters is that they are unbelievably blind. The lens cap to their brain has been super glued shut no light of reason can penetrate that hermeti-cally sealed box!

MDC supporters believed Tsvangirai's lie that the Copac constitution would deliver free and fair elections. Of course that did not happen. If there are any supporters who behave like wildebeest who follow blindly then it is MDC supporters!

A healthy democracy demands a thinking electorate not a herd of wildebeest! Once again, we are in serious trouble with the herd; you can always count on they to shoot themselves in the foot!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Guranyanga

I agree that Zimbabweans are docile but what has that to do with MDC failing to implement the reforms? You inability to see woods from the trees the woods, even when there is so much at stake, is breath taking! How can anyone be so, so stupid as not to know what is in their own best interest is the greatest mystery here!

“We do not want a Youth Assembly that just toyi-toyis without investing in reading and understanding what is happening in the country,” said Sydney Chisi, the director of the Youth Initiative for Democracy in Zimbabwe. He was addressing MDC-T youths.

Fortunately for Chisi the MDC-T leaders are some of the most incompetent leaders in modern human history. The fact that Mugabe bamboozled Tsvangirai, Biti, Ncube, etc. so that not even one reform was implemented in the five years of the GNU is testimony of MDC leaders' breath-taking incompetent. When you are that incompetent the last thing you want are thinking supporters who actually understand what is going on.

But fortunately for Tsvangirai and his kitchen cabinet, there is very little danger of turning that sea of red wildebeest into a thinking lot. Their brains are hard wired to follow and ask no questions and the box was then hermetically sealed. Their minds are impermeable to common sense and reason.

If it was not the fear of been beaten by the Riot Police those youths would have toyi-toyi from the meeting! That is about as much as they understood from Chisi's good advice!

Yes Mugabe landed the nation into this political and economic mess but he is not the one who has stopped us getting out these last 15 years. It is Tsvangirai, his kitchen cabinet and the unthinking herd of wildebeest in their red regalia who have held us prisoners in this mess!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Wasu pa internet

Well I would start by asking whether you agree Mugabe is the murderous tyrant who landed us in this mess. If you do then surely he should not be involved because he will only be interested in retaining power and not solving the problem.

As for Tsvangirai and his incompetent troop of monkeys, they failed to implement even one democratic reform in the five years in the GNU; it is naive to think they will do so now.

Zimbabwe has a population of 12 million and you want to tell me we cannot find a handful with something between their ears to lead the nation?

The trouble with people like you is that you are like a wildebeest, hard wired to follow and not ask any question. You do not look where you are going or ask where you are going; just follow. In this case you either follow Mugabe or Tsvangirai regardless of their past records.

Mugabe landed the nation in this mess but for the last 15 years it has been Tsvangirai and his herd of unthinking wildebeests in their red regalia who have kept us there.

The herd is ready for yet another mindless stampede - watch out! Once they are galloping at full speed there is no reasoning with that lot!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Mac

Of course if you are a mud-crab you would say mud is delicious!

I tell you no amount of reasoning can ever get through to these MDC supporters with their hermetically sealed brains. One needs a can opener!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Mac
The GPA was not about what Mugabe would "allow" and would not allow; that is the point! It was not for MDC to second guess what Mugabe would allow and would not allow and act accordingly.

MDC's task in the GNU is to propose the democratic reforms and have them passed in parlia-ment. The party have the majority in the GNU parliament so that should have been easy enough. If Mugabe refused to sign the proposed changes then MDC would take this up with SADC as the guarantors of the GPA.

You cannot start saying Mugabe refused any changes when not even one proposal was put be-fore him. You cannot say SADC sided with Mugabe when no one ever appealed to them!

Stop making excuses for Tsvangirai's breath-taking incompetence it only shows just what a fruit-cake you are!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Mac

Yes "Morgan was cheated, harassed and sabotaged through and through-there is no substance to this fools diatribe". I have said again and again that Mugabe rigged the elections. But what I have also said and will say it again is that by failing to implement the reforms MDC made it easy for Mugabe to rig the elections.

The logical question then is; why did MDC fail to implement the reforms, after all these reforms had already been agreed as necessary for free, fair and credible elections. SADC leaders, for their part, reminded MDC again and again to implement the reforms but still not even one reform was implemented.

The only logical explanation why not even one reform was implemented was because MDC leaders are breathtakingly incompetent.

Of course you are a MDC supporter and even with the benefit of hindsight you have failed to see the logic because your brain is impermeable to reason. Your brain is hard wired to follow and never to ask any questions. The fact that Tsvangirai has proven beyond all reasonable doubt that he is incompetent is irrelevant; you are hardwired to follow him, village idiot or not!

Since you have Mugabe to blame for everything, although it was Tsvangirai who has done all the hard work to make it easy for the tyrant to retain power all these last 15 years; Tsvangirai can do no wrong in your eyes. One needs a can opener to get through to that hermetically sealed box of a head of yours!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Sammy Moyo

Tsvangirai betrayed the nation by failing to implement the reforms if you cannot see that even now with the benefit of hindsight then you are just one of the MDC herd of wildebeest hard-wired to follow and never to ask any question. I do not expect you to see reason because it is not for a wildebeest to do that!

It is you MDC supporters' inability to think that is keeping us in this mess and that is what both-ers me! We are trying to build a democracy but that requires a thinking electorate and NOT a herd of unthinking wildebeest! As long as there is the wildebeest herd in their red regalia Mugabe knows his continued tyrannical rule is secure because to dismantle the Zanu PF dictatorship we must first go through the herd that has been doing a great job of unwittingly defending him.

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Bhekizulu

I agree that Zuda as is the case with so many MDC supporters, is deluded. The problem here is that we are talking of three million strong herd of equally deluded Zudas all in their red regalia who will stampede the nation into yet another disaster just as they did with approving the weak Copac constitution in the referendum and then into taking part in the elections without even one reform implemented.

The admission by Zanu PF that the party has failed to rig economic recovery offers the nation another chance to implement the democratic reforms and finally get out of this economic and political mess. The MDC herd will stop those reforms being implemented. Tsvangirai still does not have the foggiest idea what these reforms are about; how do you expect the village idiot to implement something he does not understand.

Mugabe would want to preside over the new administration and he would also want Tsvangirai to be there shielding him from anyone seeking meaningful change!

We can deal with Mugabe's war vets, Chipangano thugs and the CIO and Police backing them; the economic reality is doing that for us. The real big challenge is the MDC herd - no light of reason can penetrate these hermetically sealed wildebeest head.

They are deluded but once they are in a stampede, get out of the way!

@ Whichfool

For once you are right Whichfool, Zimbabwe is "battlefield" alright. 34 years after the end of the civil war and independence the country is still at war with those who claim to have liberated the people fighting the "liberated" denying them a meaningful vote, destroying the nation's economy so millions now live in abject poverty and has murdered over 30 000 to establish and retain political dominance.

Well the last year Mugabe and Zanu PF have been fighting a more cunning advisory poverty. What a cunning advisory because he took the fight to the very heart of Zanu PF itself and won hands down.

The late Shamuyarira, the grandee of Zanu PF, was as poor as a church mouse and died a pau-per. The party at its cynical best, painted his house the day he died to hide the years of neglect, rot and decay.

Even those still in power have not been spared by this rogue poverty. Look at Augustine Chihuri have passed out because the shoes he was wearing were too tight. He could not afford a fitting pair. Police Officers are having to rob the public asking for bribes at road blocks or they will walking bear foot!

Rigging the economic recovery to fight off that rogue poverty have proven to be a worth chal-lenger to Mugabe and Zanu PF. The rogue has Mugabe on the ropes as symbolised by the mockingly empty ZimAsset begging bowl.

After a year at staring at that begging bowl Mugabe has called for time out. The economic melt down with continue unless talks Gumbo proposed produce real democratic change.

We in the Zimbabwe Social Democrats do not need to get in the ring, Poverty is beating the ty-rant to pulp. Our job is to ensure that this time, unlike 2013, the tyrant does not get out of that ring until all the democratic reforms are implemented.

ZSD will then take on the tyrant in free, fair and credible elections and finish the job! We both know Mugabe will NOT win a free and fair election.

ZSD does not need a month on the ground to beat Zanu PF as long as the elections are free and fair; that I can assure you! So all we need is to get the reforms implemented; you know we have that well covered! We have our eyes super glued on that ball; there is no chance of Zanu PF bamboozling ZSD as it did MDC. None!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Whichfool

You are not just listening but has been trying to silence the ZSD but are failing. How does the CIO counter the fact that poverty has forced millions of ordinary Zimbabweans in a life of abject poverty? Poverty has now reached the inner most core of Zanu PF itself because even party grandees like the late Shamuyarira are living in abject poverty.

The only household with running clean water is Mugabe's Blue Roof mansion; a island in the desert of despair.

No amount of propaganda can change the fact that Mugabe has failed to bring mass prosperity and brought mass poverty instead! None!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ whichfool

Zanu PF has party structures and yet had to resort to rigging to stay in power. MDC too had party structure but that did not stop Mugabe cheating them! You keep wittering about party structure but has failed to show why ZSD should waste its energy and time on such a wild goose chase!

I think it shows just how desperate you are in your effort to divert the readers' attention from the important points ZSD have raise. Well you will have to get used to fighting a losing battle because that is what you will be doing here.

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Mac

If Tsvangirai has implemented the reforms then you would not be talking of anyone risking their lives. Why is it so difficult for you to accept that the implementing the reforms was the key?

It seem you have a mental blockade on that point because accepting it will force you to accept that Tsvangirai was incompetent - a bridge too far for you! Just because you cannot accept that Tsvangirai is incompetent does not change the fact that he IS breathtakingly incompetent.
