By declaring election date Mugabe has told SADC "to f**** o***" says Ncube!

Professor Ncube says Mugabe’s declaration of election date is tantamount to telling SADC leaders to f** o**!

"It is very clear that this proclamation is deliberately designed literally to tell SADC to f*** off,” said the Professor. “The ball is now in SADC's court, do they accept to be deceived this way? Do they accept the brazen contempt against them?

"If SADC allows Mugabe to get away with this, it would be a very, very sad indictment on them," he said.

A very “smart” move Professor, get SADC to fight Mugabe to hide MDC’s own incompetence; assuming SADC leaders are stupid not to see the trap MDC has set for them!

How many times did SADC tell MDC to implement the reforms and you lot would not listen. SADC knows and have said that it was you people who had become "too comfortable in government, forgetting their presence was meant to create an environment conducive for credible, free and fair elections".

Other than your son's father-in-law, President Zuma, no one else in SADC was buying the nonsense of more time to implement the reforms.

If you really think SADC is going to fight for MDC over this one then you are very naive indeed. SADC should put its foot down and finally tell you Professor, Tsvangirai and the rest of the MDC leadership some home truth; that you are incompetent and must now pay for your incompetence. In short SADC must tell MDC leaders to f*** o****!

That is rich coming from the man who failed to im[;ement not even one single democratic reform. What "patriotic fight" is he talking about? The fight to have parliament's time extended so he can stay on the gravy train a few more weeks? As for the reforms, there will be no more reforms implemented now. Tsvangirai does not have the foggiest idea where he is,where he is going or doing; only an diot would want to follow such a leader!

@ Kwv

The trouble with you is that you refuse to open your eyes and see Tsvangirai for the blundering and incompetent leader he is.

Can you please explain why Tsvangirai and MDC have failed to get even one democratic reform implemented?

No my friend this forum and history accept Tsvangirai is a flawed, indecisive and incompetent leader. This forum and history will judge you as one of those Tsvangirai supporters whose mental agility is comparable to that of a sloth. The brain, after years of mental idleness, has astrophied; it is now completely impermeable to reason!

The Zimbabwean electorate are not the smartest kids on the block; that - sadly - is the truth.

There are many well educated people on this site, many with University qualifications and yet it has not yet dawned to them that Tsvangirai betrayed the nation in failing to implement the re-forms. They elected him on a ticket to bring democratic reforms but you will be surprised how many of them have ever thought what these changes are.

University graduates with all the access to the information of what is happening on their finger-tips have failed to make the “quantum” leap – for most people it will be a logical step, to these Zimbabweans it may as well be a leap from earth to the moon - and connect democratic change to security sector reform, media reform, etc. What chance does my aunt in the back waters of rural Zimbabwe have of making that connection?

Tsvangirai can seat back; the Zimbabwean electorate will still vote for him in their millions regardless of the many blunders he has made. When you have the electorate with the mental agility of a sloth you do not have to worry about making outrageous promised or keeping any of the promises none of the electorate will ever hold you to account!

If you think Tsvangirai and MDC have "done their best" to get the reforms implemented these last five years then you real must have been fast asleep. Well for someone who has just woken up there is nothing wrong with asking what has been going on whilst I was asleep.

Well whilst you were snoring these last five years Tsvangirai has failed to get even one single reform implemented. Not even one.

If you say we needed the constitution first then reforms; it really does not matter. The point is not one reform has been implemented.

After five years the nation is back where it was in 2008 holding yet another bloody election!

You say "I can tell you what Tsvangirai will do - BOYCOTT the elections or say he will boycott the election and then change his mind again and then the party will split again inTO FIVE DIF-FERENT PARTIES lol"

Well for saying that I would say you clearly qualified to be an MDC deputy Minister, at least. What a pity it is too late for you to throw your hat in one of the parliamentary primary election contests. Or could it be you are one of the MDC ministers already or even Tsvangirai himself. Well you last sentence about is exactly what an MDC leader would say and do!

You asking the wrong question; you are jumping the gun. The most important and key question is HOW DO WE TURN A NATION OF SLOTHS INTO A NTION OF THINKING HUMAN BEINGS?
Even if one could find the man or woman of great leadership qualities what makes you sure the sloth electorate will vote for him/her? I can rest assure you he or she would lose.

On the other hand, get the sloth brain of the electorate firing again so they have common sense - I do not way they call it common sense because, in Zimbabwe at least, that is the one thing that has been noticeably lacking. Such an electorate would certainly not be so easily fooled by the likes of Mugabe or Tsvangirai. And whoever they elect you can be sure of one thing they will elect many others just as competent.

For you see, it is not just a matter of having one or two good leaders to have good government. You must have quality leaders in government, in opposition, in local government, in industry, etc., etc. And all these must come from the pool called the electorate. If the pool is full of sloths you have no chance in hell of getting good government, a justice and prosperous nation!

I answered that already - you asking the wrong question. The question we should be dealing with is how to get the electorate to be smart enough to elect competent leaders.

Even if we were all agree on a leader right here tonight; what difference will that make? What is the point if he/she has the perfect manifesto when the people whose votes decide who is going to be the next president do not understand a single thing in that manifesto!

You just want an easy answer, the magic wand. Well the answer is that there is no easy answer. You want to travel on the broad and easy boulevards and driving the latest models of cars. Well cannot have any of that unless you are prepared to work for all these things. Forget Mugabe’s voodoo-economics it has produce a few rich but always at the expense of millions thrown into abject poverty!
