The Zanu PF MP Chidori-Chininga
has died in an accident. Many believe the MP was a marked man. He chaired the
mining parliamentary committee that revealed that Mbada paid $293 millions in
taxes and yet government only got $82 million whilst of diamond companies did
not even pay a penny.
It is interesting to note that
the work of one MP has done more to shed light in Zimbabwe's murky diamond industry,
proving once again that if MDC with their majority in parliament had had the political
will, this parliament could have achieved something.

Diamonds are to Zimbabwe what oil is to Saudi Arabia. The parliamentary report talks of Mbada paying $ 293 million in taxes but government received only $82 million. Africa Part-nership Canada said Mugabe alone made as much as $2 billion in 2012 alone.
Remember Zimbabwe's GDP last year was $7.7 billion; in other words Mugabe alone is looting nearly 30% of the country's GDP. 30%!
So I ask you again; was Tsvangirai right to give Zimbabwe's diamond industry has a clean bill of health? (It would help if you take your head out of the sand for a change before you answer.)
Mugabe failed to turn up for a planned principal’s meeting. He stood up Tsvangirai and Ncu-be who were finally left after 3 hours of waiting.
Mugabe was just underlining who is the boss! He is the one running the show!
