This year Mugabe be banking of looted money, not violence, to win - hoping voters are too stupid to notice!

Do not worry, he will be back. He will be spending the billions of dollars to buy votes. Unemployment is seating at a nauseating 90% and the money that should have been used to get the national economy back on its feet was being stolen and is now being used to buy the votes.

Mugabe want those unemployed voters to vote for him so he can spend the next five years looting even more wealth whilst they sink even deeper into the economic hell he has created for them.

President Jacob Zuma announced on Monday that SA’s economy grew by 83% in the last 19 years of ANC rule. The Zimbabwe economy shrunk by 84% in the six year period 2002 to 2008 alone. A world record; no other nation, not at war, has had such a shocking economic melt-down.

It was the all-out looting of the commercial farms starting in 2000 that destroyed Zimbabwe’s agricultural sector, the backbone of the nation’s economy, precipitating the economic melt-down. As long as Mugabe and his cronies continue to own these looted farms; national economic recovery will remain a pipe dream.

The wealth from the Marange diamonds valued at $800 billion; used wisely could get Zimbabwe back to where it was in 1980 in 25 years. So far the diamond windfall has largely disappeared and shared out amongst the same looting class!

Mugabe has no intention of getting the looting class to give up the farms and everything else they have looted. Indeed Mugabe’s solution to the nation is that we will all prosper if we loot! As always it is the looting class who get even richer whilst the rest sink even deeper in the economic hell.

More looting is not going to revive the Zimbabwe economy and create the much needed employment. More looting is not going to get the 90% unemployed back to work, but will keep them there.

In the next few weeks Mugabe is going to splash some of the looted diamond wealth buying Chiefs cars, Headman bicycles and povo beer, lots and lots of beer; to buy the people’s vote. The nation is live in abject poverty because of all the 33 years of mismanagement, corruption and looting by Mugabe and his cronies. Now he is using some of the loot to buy our vote so the mismanagement, corruption and looting can continue another five years.

In the past Zanu PF has used brute force to coerce the people to vote for the party. It will be difficult to use violence again this year, the world is watching. And so Mugabe is going to use money he stole from us to buy our vote so he can steal from us for another five more years. That is right, you heard me: MUGABE IS GOING TO USE MONEY HE STOLE FROM US TO BUY OUR VOTE SO HE CAN STEAL FROM US ANOTHER FIVE MORE YEARS!

The people of Zimbabwe are poor, ignorant, etc., etc. but they are not stupid. Not that stupid not to see that Mugabe is pulling a fast one here. Since Mugabe will have to holding a free and fair election this year, as near free and a tyrannical regime can manage; Mugabe will this year learn that the people of Zimbabwe are not as stupid as he thought!

The show is over for Mugabe. So you think Zimbabweans are so stupid not to see Mugabe is buying their votes with money he has stolen from them so that he can steal even more from them. After 33 years; you still think the Zimbabweans are not aware what Mugabe has been doing! The March 2008 vote was not an accident, that was the people of Zimbabwe telling Mugabe what they think of him. He cheated them then and cooked the false results for five weeks. Let us see if he can cook up something this time!

You are clearly reading the events of 2008 upside down. But do not worry neither you nor Mugabe will be about to cook the results this year and will have them read to you! Not even the billions of dollars stolen from Marange diamonds are going to buy Mugabe out of trouble.

He is using money stolen from the people to buy their votes so he can steal even more money from them - how cheeky is that! The buzzard thinks the people are so stupid they cannot see that! After 33 years!

Well we all know soon enough if Zimbabwe's biggest looter and murderer will once again get away with it!

I agree with you there, all these calls for Mawere for the presidency is nonsense. Mawere played his part in the collapse of Shabani Mashava Mines with the loss of thousands of jobs whilst he was part of the zanu PF mafia. These people want that swept under the carpet because he has won the case on dual citizenship! How gullible!

The trouble with some people is that they are so easily impressed and they go to sleep and they have completely forgotten what happened yesterday. When it suits them they will refuse to ac-cept what is happening before their very eyes and hang-on to yesterday's happy memory.

Mugabe was a war hero but when he started murdering people they refused to see him for the tyrant he is.

Tsvangirai has failed to get even one single democratic reform implemented in all the five years in power and you will be surprised how many Zimbabweans still refuse to see him as the incom-petent leader he is.

Is it any wonder the country is in a mess!

Mugabe is going to use the billions of dollars he stole from the sale of Marange diamonds, mon-ey the nation should have used to rebuild the shuttered economy and get millions out of abject poverty, to buy the people beer and their votes. It is not beyond these people to vote for the tyrant so he can steal and terrorize them for another five more years.

Like it or not Zimbabweans are unbelievable gullible and naïve – let’s hope they are not unbelievable stupid too! Do not hold your breath!

What I find really surprising is you seem to have just noticed now that Minister Makone "is a loose cannon" and your hope that someone in MDC will "castigate he for uttering such non-sense" suggest there is someone in that party not guilty of uttering nonsense! Where have you been these last five years!

We should have a meaningful debate about Zimbabwe but this is NOT going to happen with people like you spending four years, eleven months and 27 days with your head buried in the sand. You are waking up now in time to vote and then bury your head again!

The right to vote should be a blessing but here in Africa we sure have a knack for turning a blessing into a curse. How can someone who spends so much time with their head buried in the sand have the same ONE vote as someone who thinks?

Someone should kick people like you in the backside. I am being cruel to be kind: for the good of the nation and posterity!
