Mugabe, in his usual egotistic way, has
ordered two statutes in his own image worth a staggering $5 million from North
Korea. One of the statues is a bronze, chalked for erection at Heroes Acre, standing
to the height of five men standing on top of each other. The tyrant sees
himself as a giant amongst the heroes.
Here is the man whose rule has completely
destroyed the country’s once prosperous economy sending inflation and
unemployment soaring into nauseating heights of 500 billion percent and 90%
respectively forcing millions into a life of abject poverty. Here is the man
who has murder over 30 000 innocent Zimbabweans to establish and retain his one-party
dictatorship.
Mugabe has an a more than life-size inflated
image of himself!
The tyrant knows that the people of
Zimbabwe hate him with a passion. Last year he mounted a very expensive
vote-rigging operation to cheat his way back into State House. He knows that the
people of Zimbabwe would never approve a memorial statue of Mugabe; who would
freely want to be reminded of a corrupt and murderous thug. So he commissioned the
$ 5 million statues himself.
The statues are to be erected after the
death of Mugabe. The second and smaller $1.5 million statue will be part of a $3.8
million Zvimba museum to be named after Mugabe.
Many statues of tyrants fall the day the
tyrant’s rule collapse. If Mugabe is lucky enough to die in office then he can
be sure of one thing his statues will be brought down the day the Zanu PF dictatorship
collapses!

The head of Mbada Diamonds told a parliamentary committee none of the diamond companies promised to contribute $10 million towards a Community Trust as reported by Minister to Mugabe and the nation.
According to the late Chindori Chininga; no one in government knows exactly how much these diamond companies earning from diamonds because government has lost control. It is easier for individuals like Mugabe and senior members in the Police and Army who are earning huge fortunes to continue to do so are long as diamond operations remain shrouded under a blanket of secrecy.
Mugabe has reportedly earned US$ 2 billion in 2012 alone according to an Africa Partnership Canada report. If one assumed the company paid 10% loyalty to Mugabe – they are never that generous as a rule – they company pocketed $18 billion tax free.
So the $10 million to the Trust would have been small change; they did not pay it because these companies are mean and heartless. They have rounded the villagers in Marange and Chiadzwa into fenced off areas like animals so they can carry out the diamond mining operation. They have refused to pay in the Trust so the villagers can be resettled and properly.
What else does this parliament do other that listen to one story after another of how individuals and companies are swindling the nation? None of the swindlers are ever arrested and punished. None of the swindled money and wealth is ever recovered. And these parliamentary committees never come up with anything to ensure all this corruption is stopped and the tragic human suffering it has brought ended! Nothing!
Mbada Diamonds and the other companies will continue to rack in billions worth of diamonds pay their handlers their 10% or whatever and pocket the rest. The people of Marange and Chiadzwa will remain caged in like animals. It is all an exercise in futility!
