A false dilemma, also referred to as false dichotomy or false binary, is an informal fallacy based on a premise that erroneously limits what options are available. The source of the fallacy lies not in an invalid form of inference but in a false premise. This premise has the form of a disjunctive claim: it asserts that one among a number of alternatives must be true. This disjunction is problematic because it oversimplifies the choice by excluding viable alternatives, presenting the viewer with only two absolute choices when, in fact, there could be many.
False dilemmas often have the form of treating two contraries, which may both be false, as contradictories, of which one is necessarily true. Various inferential schemes are associated with false dilemmas, for example, the constructive dilemma, the destructive dilemma or the disjunctive syllogism. False dilemmas are usually discussed in terms of deductive arguments, but they can also occur as defeasible arguments.
The human liability to commit false dilemmas may be due to the tendency to simplify reality by ordering it through either-or-statements, which is to some extent already built into human language. This may also be connected to the tendency to insist on clear distinction while denying the vagueness of many common expressions.

"Fellow Zimbabweans, the signal is now close. We will bring it up in a clever way, so that our enemies will never know. It will be in a few days. We know that Mnangagwa wants to declare a state of emergency, but that will not work. We will deal with our issues as Zimbabweans.
"We have engaged all political players like Chamisa, Sikhala, Mwonzora, and Komichi, and we agreed on a way forward. For your own information, all these people like General Chiwenga. So be warned, the signal is coming very soon," Geza said.
The infighting within ZANU-PF has been intensifying, with factions openly challenging Mnangagwa's leadership. The developments bear resemblance to the 2017 internal conflicts that ultimately led to the coup which ousted long-time leader Robert Mugabe.
With March 31 approaching, political tensions are expected to rise as both government and opposition forces brace for a potential showdown in the streets.”
If anyone had doubted Geza’s sincerity on wanting to bring change, real change, in Zimbabwe; there cannot be any doubt that this is not about change. This is about power, period.
Geza has roped in Nelson Chamisa, Job Sikhala, Douglas Mwonzora, etc., etc. All these individuals have been on the political stage for the last 25 years, many of them were in the 2008 to 2013 GNU when the nation had its best opportunity even to implement the democratic reforms; they have failed to implement even one token reform. Not one!
Ever since the GNU debacles these opposition leaders have participated in flawed elections knowing Zanu PF was rigging and that participating will give the regime legitimacy They have, nonetheless participated because they also knew that Zanu PF was giving away a few gravy train seats. What is more they all knew this!
“Look, you can't keep on participating in flawed electoral processes that serve to give big benefits to dictators such as Robert Mugabe. Mugabe has perfected the art of winning elections. So it will be very foolish for the opposition to continue legitimizing these sham elections which don't deliver. This country will go through a serious economic crisis in 2020 caused by Zanu PF. And yet, this is the only country where a government doesn't perform, it is encouraged by a super majority in parliament,” said Tendai Biti in a 2015 interview with Isaac Mugabi.
“So you can't continue subjecting Zimbabweans to processes where their hopes just get crushed.”
David Coltart explained why they all soldiered on and participated.
“The (2013) electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility,” confessed David Coltart in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.
These leaders had the chutzpah to con their brain dead followers with idiotic lies of the opposition winning RIGGED elections to get them to participate in the flawed elections.
“I have plugged all the vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit!” Chamisa told his followers in 2023. Millions believed him. Only for him to complain the day after voting that Zanu PF rigged the elections - too late the damage of give Zanu PF legitimacy was done. The brain dead followers never asked why he had lied! They never ask anything. Never!
No doubt the good-for-nothing opposition leaders will be out mobilising their brain dead supporters to come out in the street in support of the 31 March uprising. The supporters will not ask whether this is not a repeat of the 2017 coup that filed to deliver any change. Of course, it is a repeat. But as we know, these supporters will do as they are told; no questions asked.
No wonder Zimbabwe is a failed state; with millions of brain dead voters, what else!

IF THERE WAS EVER ANY DOUBT THAT GEZA'S SO-CALLED 31 MARCH UPRISING WAS ABOUT POWER AND NOT ABOUT BRING ABOUT MEANINGFUL CHANGE; HERE IS THE PROOF. GEZA HAS ROPED IN CHAMISA, SIKHALA AND ALL THE WHO IS WHO IN SELL-OUT OPPOSITION CAMP.
WHAT DEMOCRATIC CHANGES HAVE THIS LOT BROUGHT IN 25 YEARS, INCLUDING 5 IN THE GNU?
WHY WOULD GEZA & CO. ROPE IN CORRUPT AND UTTERLY USELESS OPPOSITION LEADS IN THE NEW GNU IF THEY REALLY WANTED TO DELIVER CHANGE? Q.E.D. I REST MY CASE!
@ Justice
“There is something wrong with our education curriculum. You are still stuck in the past.”
Zimbabwe has failed to hold free and fair elections in 45 years hence the reason why the nation is stuck with this corrupt, incompetent and murderous Zanu PF dictatorship. Millions of Zimbabweans have been participating in flawed elections even when they have been warned repeatedly that doing so will only give vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate their own suffering.
Nelson Chamisa conned Zimbabweans to participate in the 2023 elections telling them “he plugged all the vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit!” He was lying of course and this was not the first lie either. He has conned the people with these opposition will win RIGGED elections lies time and again and his brain dead followers have believed him. Even after 45 years of rigged elections they will continue to believe him because these people do not have the intellect to comprehend the lie, even when it is repeated over and over again.
“You are still stuck in the past,” you said. If remembering that Chamisa lied about plugging vote rigging loop holes constitutes being “stuck in the past” then I am proud I remember such details because those, like you, who do not are easily conned to participate in flawed elections with tragic consequences as we can see.
It is not a virtue you failed to register important details such as what constitutes free and fair elections and are easily conned by even upstarts like Chamisa. You just do not have the intellectual ability to discern such complex concepts given your very low IQ. Man is a creature of reason, remembering the past is an integral part of reason, but not every one has the mental ability to do so.

"Vanhu havachadi!" Havachadi chiyi?
The people thought the war of independence was to end white colonial oppression and to restore freedom and human rights to all. Mugabe and his Zanu PF cronies changed that to "ending white colonial oppression, period!" For we ended white oppression only to replace it with Zanu PF oppression, dictatorship.
The people thought the 2017 coup was to end the Zanu PF dictatorship. Wrong! It was to facilitate the swap of one dictator with another. The 31 March 2025 uprising is to facilitate yet another swap of two more dictators. How any one would think this is worth supporting beggars belief!
This is about whether one has the intellectual ability to see the sheer futility of participating in a flawed process so flawed it will never deliver the result you want. Never! And you know that by participating you will give legitimacy to the process and the result.
Our greatest problem as a nation is that millions of our people do not want to think for themselves. They prefer to leave the thinking to others like Chamisa who have conned them again and again to do stupid thinks for their own selfish purpose.
Chamisa lied about plugging the vote rigging loop hole to get his supporters to participate in the flawed 2023 elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuating the nation’s suffering. There are millions who participated in the elections because they believed Chamisa’s lie. The real surprise is many of these people are refusing to accept Chamisa lied and some even lose their temper to hear that Chamisa lied - such is their blind devotion to him.
The tragedy for Zimbabwe is that with such brain dead voters the nation has no chance of ever establishing a healthy and functioning democracy. None!
The obvious alternative to participating in the 31 March uprising is to stay at home. But if you are given to letting other people think for you nothing is obvious!
@ Ds Max
The tribesman mentality is over powering. If you think the 31 March uprising will not be a repeat of the 2017 coup tell us why you flatulent nincompoop. I have never said that I am better than Geza or anyone, so where is that bulls***t coming from.
At least Geza has been honest what he wants unlike others vanorova imbwa vakavinga mupini! The tragedy is we are so blind and stupid they refuse to believe their own eyes, ears and not even common sense. No wonder we are a failed state!
@ Rushhour
Holding leaders to democratic account is even more important than being a leader but I do not expect a flatulent nincompoop like you to understand that!
https://x.com/i/broadcasts/1LyxBWmQnzMKN
Whilst it is clear that the army is backing the 31 March 2025 uprising, it is equally clear the army will not deploy to put Mnangagwa under house arrest, take over ZBC and all the other key institution. This uprising is to be a people driven project.
The size of the crowd is now an important factor the bigger the crowd the more the Chiwenga faction will feel it has public support. Chiwenga will want to stay in power for the maximum two term limits too and therefore would not want to risk that chance by holding free and fair elections. Chiwenga will be as keen to rig the elections to stay in power as Mnangagwa and Mugabe were.
Zimbabwe will remain a dictatorship under Chiwenga as it was under Mnangagwa. There will be no change and anyone who expect otherwise is naive.
So why Zimbabweans should support the 31 March 2025 uprising is a mystery!
@ Baba Melissa
If participating will change nothing but only serve to give vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy and oxygen to keep the dictatorship alive for another 10 years you do not need any one to tell you stop participating! This is nothing new we have seen Zimbabweans participating in flawed elections even after both SADC and the AU condemned the process.
@ Comrade Traore
Did VP Chiwenga uphold the constitution when he led the November 2017 military coup? Zanu PF rigged the 2023 elections and VP played his part in that. Do not talk of the constitution and rule of law as if people like Chiwenga care.
Can you dare deny Chiwenga would rig 2028 election than risk losing by holding free and fair elections!
We all know that this is about power and VP Chiwenga will be just another dictator hell bent on retaining power by hook or by crook.
Do you know what “giving vote rigging Zanu PF legitimacy” means?
@ Ferengende
I know you have failed to comprehend this but it is nonetheless true that holding leaders to account is one of the most important duties all citizens must perform without failure. The task is even more important in a nation where most citizens have blind loyalty to the leaders.
For the sake of Zimbabwe, I pray that the Lord will open your eyes and minds so that you too and millions of others out there will finally see the importance of holding ALL leaders to account!
@ Richard Muvhuro
“Always repeating the song of reforms for the past decade is boring. Any sensible Zimbabwean would know that any piece of legislation becomes law when signed by the President not by Prime Minister. It seems you believe in your nauseating failure to implement reforms. If you believe what you write then I pity you, blaming victims. Others have failed yes, the space is not closed step in and prevail then.”
The Ten Commandments were brought down from Mount Sinai 4 000 years ago and yet they remain at the centre of Christian teaching to this day. Why? Because sin remains a reality today as in the past.
Zimbabwe has failed to hold free and fair elections these last 45 years and it is foolish to argue that we must stop talking about reforms when they are our best hope of ending the curse of rigged elections. And to stop not appease some nincompoop because he is bored to hear about reforms. I am not here to message your misplaced ego!
You have no clue how reforms were supposed to be implemented during the GNU. You should desist from commending on matters you do know!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dr7sPeJA0lk
Those who will not learn from the past, they are doomed to repeat the same mistakes over and over again. We should have never supported the 2017 military coup because Mnangagwa and company offered to remove Mugabe in return for us giving the coup and Lacoste faction political legitimacy. Of course, we were short change since the eight years of Mnangagwa rule has brought no economic or political changes, which is what we really wanted.
The 31 March uprising is a repeat of the 2017 coup; we are being offered a swap of Mnangagwa for Chiwenga, another dictator. Chiwenga is even going to beef up his regime with recycled G40 thugs booted out of office in the 2017 coup.
ARE WE REALLY THAT STUPID WE ARE INCAPABLE OF LEARNING FROM THE PAST!
@ Mura
“Stop raising more dust to create a smokescreen and suggest an alternative.”
Was warning people against supporting the 2017 coup to give Mnangagwa legitimacy and thus perpetuating the dictatorship and the people’s suffering “raising dust to create a smokescreen” too?
The people did not heed the warning and the nation jumped from the frying pan of Mugabe rule into the fire of Mnangagwa rule for the last eight years have seen looting going into overdrive and millions more living in abject poverty.
“Suggest an alternative!” What a stupid, stupid question!
So, unless I suggest an alternative, you will support this 31 March uprising knowing fully it will give Chiwenga legitimacy and thus perpetuate the dictatorship and the people’s suffering. Has it ever occur to you that NOT supporting this uprising IS THE ALTERNATIVE!
No wonder Zimbabwe is a failed state, we really have some brain dead men and women amongst us - millions of them and they have the voice and the vote!
@ Ptsbere
“Ko zvinei nemi. Kana zvisingashande regai vamwe vaiteo try. I am sure if one fails one time they don't give up. If that was the case then nothing is…kikikiki”
That is exactly what those incapable of learning from the past would say, “if one fails one time they don’t give up”! YOU ARE REPEATING THE MISTAKE OF ACCEPTING THE SWAPPING OF ONE DICTATOR, MNANGAGWA FOR CHIWENGA JUST AS YOU ACCEPTED THE SWAPPING OF MUGABE FOR MNANGAGWA!
The 2017 swap did not produce any political or economic change and this will be no different. What you want is the dismantling of the dictatorship itself NOT the swapping of dictators.
One would have thought that the suffering of the last eight years have forced you to introspect and examine the nation’s problems from all the different angles. You clearly do not have the intellectual capacity for mental activities. Decades of sloth like inactivity has resulted in the brain ossifying into fat. What a waste!

FOR 31 MARCH UPRISING TO BE A SUCCESS GEZA NEEDS THE ILLUSIVE, COY AND POLITICALLY DISCREDITED CHAMISA TO COME OUT OF HIDING AND CON HIS BRAIN DEAD FOLLOWERS TO SUPPORT THE UPRISING. GEZA CANNOT COUNT ON THE USUAL ZANU PF CROWD FOR HIRE - MOST PARTY LEADERS AND MEMBERS ARE SITTING ON THE FENCE, SITTING IT OUT!
@ Chief Ndiweni
“Unei nazvo, siya vanhu vaite zvavafunga, kana iwe uneimwe plan huya utungamire vanhu ununure vanhu, usangoita sedendera uriikoko.”
This is just a variation of the usual Zanu PF assertion that they fought in the liberation war “where were you?” to avoid accountability. Of course, it is nonsense! All those who hold public office are accountable to the public, period!
Chamisa, Geza, Mnangagwa, etc. are all public officials and are, per se, accountable to the public. Even individuals, they too must be accountable for their actions if they affect others!
You must address the issues raised and stop talking nonsense. “Siya vanhu vaite zvavafunga!” Why are they untouchable?
Fcuk me! 45 years after independence, in this day and age, and we still have some nincompoops who still believe they and their demigod leaders are untouchable! How mortifying! We have many important matters we should be talking about; the millions of Zimbabweans living in abject poverty, for example; instead of wasting time on village idiots who think they are special.
Advocate K
Who does not know that Zanu PF is a party of ruthless thugs. The point is are we fighting to be thugs too or to end the curse of thuggery?

Zimbabweans had paid 9% of the salary as NASA pension contribution and yet the pension they are paid is not even worth collection. NASA has collected $27 billion in the last 25 years and yet it has assets worth $1 billion!
NATIONS GET THE GOVERNMENT THEY DESERVE, WE DESERVE THIS CORRUPT, INCOMPETENT AND TYRANNICAL ZANU PF DICTATORSHIP COMPLETE WITH ITS EQUALLY CORRUPT AND USELESS MDC/CCC SIDE-KICK!
@ Nyoka
Nyoka in full flow vitriolic threats
What is laughable here is that both Geza and Noyokayemadhunu are using the same bloody threats they have used during their Zanu PF days. They now want democracy but did not want it all these years when they were in power.
Charovedzera charovedzera gudo rakakwira mawere kwasviba!
Any one who thinks that the 31 March uprising is about restoring rule of law and democracy is naive. If the uprising is successful we will only have a different dictator but otherwise nothing will change. Nothing!
The tragedy is whilst these Zanu PF thugs are fighting each other the nation's economy is sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss and millions on the coal face are living in abject poverty!
This is wishful thinking. The 2017 coup plotters promised changed but never delivered. Admit it or not, this is just another swap of one dictator for another. Some people never learn!
"According to the Defence Act (Chapter 11:02), the abuse of military uniform is an offence which prohibits and criminalizes the wearing of military uniform by individuals who are not members of the Defence Forces. Section 99 (2) (c) of the Act states that any person who without authority wears or uses any decoration supplied to or authorized for use by any member of the Defence Forces, or any decoration so nearly resembling such as to be likely to deceive, shall be guilty of an offence."
The ZDF urged the public to refrain from acquiring or wearing military attire and warned that offenders would face prosecution. The public was also encouraged to report individuals seen wearing military uniforms outside cantonment areas or those falsely posing as ZDF members while committing crimes.
"In this regard, the Zimbabwe Defence Forces appeal to members of the public to report anyone known to be a civilian but wearing military uniform for whatever reason.”
If the Army was protecting Geza and were the ones hiding him, this must be the equivalent of throwing him under the bus! What now Geza? You were threatening Police Commission Mutamba for sending a squad with AK47 rifles to hunt you down. Are you going to reveal who authorised you to wear army uniform?
One of biggest uncertainties with this uprising is that it is 2017 coup mark 2 in that we will once again see the swapping one dictator for another. The idea that Chiwenga is a democrat is a lead balloon that only a fool will believe will fly. This army uniform business throws doubts on how much support the uprising is getting from the army. Is this uprising one of those where progress is one step forward and three steps back?

Chamisa rejects Geza's 31 March uprising, because he does not want to cause blood shed.
The truth is Chamisa & Co. wasted the golden opportunity to implement reforms during the 2008 to 2013 GNU and have since been participating in flawed elections out of greed.
@ Ganyamatope
Stop giving feeble excuses for failure. Chamisa was a senior MDC leaders in the GNU, what did he do to implement reforms. He was the one who conned people to vote in 2018 and 2023 elections on the basis of idiotic winning RIGGED elections lies!
It is shocking that some people should be defending the indefensible - proof they have no clue what they are talking about and yet they have the voice and the vote. Universal suffrage has been a curse for us!
Chamisa & Co. failed to deliver change when they had the best opportunity to do so during the GNU , they have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed it would be nonsensical for him to seek to remove the regime through street protests!
This is the blind loyalty that has landed Zimbabwe in this mess. Chamisa & Co. failed to implement even one reform in 25 years and yet we still have some individuals who will not see any of his short comings.
Some of them will never see leaders like Chamisa for what they are because they have lost their own ability to think and reason and so they depend on the leaders. They have the brain just as he blind have eye balls but it is useless, it is ossified into fat.
If Chamisa & Co.had implemented the democratic reforms during the GNU then Zanu PF would not have rigged the 2013 elections. That is a historic fact. Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat the same mistakes. Some of us want to learn from the past and will not be bullied by those who do not have the intellectual capacity to comprehend anything!
People supported the 2017 coup and all that happened was the swapping of Mugabe for Mnangagwa. History is repeating itself!
Turkish proverb of the trees thinking axe is one of them!
Sounds like Zanu PF, in 2017 the Mnangagwa factions told the people it was fighting to end corruption and will hold free and fair elections. The people supported the coup and all they got was Mnangagwa swapping with Mugabe the dictatorship continued. This time the 31 March uprising is seeking to swap Mnangagwa for Chiwenga and again the people are out in full support. How naive!
There is something sickening here -that after 45 years of independence millions should be so poor they can not afford to buy for themselves something as simple as a bicycle!
“Ummmm zvirinane panekugara kumirira ED afirepo popinda mwana wake.”
This is part of the brainwashing, you not only believe you have only two options to support Geza or Mnangagwa. And to make you panic, you have been brainwashed into believing that if the uprising fails Mnangagwa will not only stay but there will be a dynast. It is a pity you are so easily conned and so easily panicked!
https://x.com/i/broadcasts/1mnxegZNOEWGX
The forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe. The axe was conning the trees that is was one of them because it was made of wood. Turkish proverb. Such common sense is yet to reach Zimbabwe!
Zimbabweans voted for Zanu PF in 1980 as nation's liberation heroes. We supported 2017 coup because we were conned to believe Mnangagwa was end corruption and hold free and fair elections. And now many believe the 31 March uprising will deliver the democratic changes. Nonsense! Chiwenga is just another Zanu PF thug, he is not a democrat!
Chiwenga or Mnangagwa is a false choice! We must reject both and demand meaningful democratic change, the dismantling to the dictatorship!
@ Manyanya
From those is power and authority and from ourselves. We should not be so ignorant and naive we are conned to participate in flawed elections on the basis of an idiotic lie of winning RIGGED elections. We are conned to believe a dictator like Mnangagwa or Chiwenga can ever deliver the democratic changes the nation has been dying for!
@ Manyanya
Whether I proffer a solution or not, the fact still remains that hoping that a known corrupt thug like Mnangagwa or Chiwenga will deliver democratic changes is foolish. And all those having such hopes are fools!
@ K2
“So whom in your thinking,wl deliver .Spare us with your useless assertions. Can you come and we elect you the helm of country.”
So you supported Mnangagwa in 2017 because Wilbert Mukori was not there or was it because you were conned into believing he would end corruption and hold free and fair elections. Whatever the reasons why you believed Mnangagwa; you are believing Chiwenga now for the same reasons.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. The nub is - the insane do not realise the repeats and sometimes they get all flustered and frosty if some one points out their folly. They sink into their own world of rhetoric nonsense in their desperate effort to prove there are rational reasons in their insanity.
@ Mabhena
If you participate in the 31 March uprising , called by Geza & Co., it is very naive to think you can, some how, deny Geza the credit for the uprising. Geza has already made it clear what the main objective of the uprising is - to replace Mnangagwa with Chiwenga.
The 31 March uprising in a repeat of the 2017 coup in which the people were conned to support the one faction of Zanu PF on the false premise the Zanu PF faction will reform itself out of office.
But, of course, Mnangagwa will insist the Second Republic has delivered on its promises especially the democratic changes. Mnangagwa insists the 2018 and 2023 elections were free, fair and credible.
All talk of participating in the uprising to “dismantling Zanuism” is wishful thinking. This is as misguided as the participating in flawed elections the idiotic belief of winning RIGGED elections.
@ Patrick
Geza has called for the 31 March uprising for primary purpose is to remove Mnangagwa and replace him with Chiwenga. If you join that uprising then you are, per se, supporting Geza’s primary goal. You can have your own objectives but the core objective does not change.
There are those who want to dismantle Zanu PF, that will never happen. When Chiwenga takes over as president he will be seeking to consolidate his own hold on power and if you think he will reform himself out of office then dream on! Zviroto, zviroto!
@ Godfrey
In 2008 Zanu PF was weak and the MDC gave it a chance to recover by failing to implement even one token reform during the GNU. In 2017 Zanu PF was weak and the people gave it a chance to recover by giving the coup plotters legitimacy. It looks like the people are going to go this again through this 31 March uprising!
@ Mura
“As long as the current dynasty is dismantled, it's an acceptable option. 2030 should miscarry in the labour ward.”
Well you must be very pleased that the 2017 coup stopped the Mugabe dynasty although is landed the nation from the frying pan into the fire. You may well get you wish in that the 31 March uprising stops the Mnangagwa dynasty even though it will deliver no economic or political change.
It has never occurred to you that instead of swapping one dictator for another the nation could dismantle the dictatorship itself! Of course, such a notion is inconceivable for some one whose IQ is not much better than that of a garden slug! It is not your fault your brain has ossified into fat - will not bother to explore why!
@ Bandaras
"This author is a murakashi strait. How can you waste your precious time talking nonsense really. It seems you are happy with what is happening in the country."
Did you support the 2017 coup? What did it change? What changes will the 31 March uprising bring? These are the relevant question that must be asked and answered!
There are nincompoops like you who prefer to follow whatever Geza, Chamisa, Mnangagwa and all the other corrupt, incompetent leaders say. Then there are others who want to think for themselves. Nincompoops cannot bear to hear their masters questioned. It is high time these buffoons are questioned and it will be irresponsible to let the nincompoops have the last say on the matter!
Ash
The ancient Greeks were right, democracy, government of the people, by the people and for the people: only works if the people are educated, knowledgeable, objective and diligent in their duty of holding those in power to account. In Africa we have experimented with democracy when the people are ignorant, naive and gullible so gullible they are easily conned to do the bidding of the very men and women they should be holding to account!
@ Antonio Bandaras
“Fokofu to you. You can't foolishly say that i supported the 2017 couple. I can tell that you do not know exactly who you are talking to. I was a victim of the coup and what i endured was very terrible. I can't mention it here but what you must know is that i was abducted during that period for 3 days before the late Icon of Africa. So do not just bluff here over issues nor things that you do not know about Ka.”
I am not one of those who abducted you and had nothing to do with it. You should fight those who abducted you and not take it with some of us who had nothing to do with it.
The issue here is was it wise to have supported the 2017 coup and what did doing so accomplish, etc.? These are relevant questions and the suggestion that I should not ask them for fear of upsetting you is an outrage. Why should I not ask these questions?
So because you were abducted for three days you now think you have the right to dictate to everyone else?
Why were you abducted? Could it be that you were one of Mugabe’s henchmen who terrorised the nation and you are keen as mustard to see the 31 March uprising succeed so you can go back to Zimbabwe and take up you thug activities where you left off? Of course, you will be furious with people like me who are dismissing the 31 March uprising as a reap of the 2017 coup - a wasted opportunity to get real change.
I reap, the 31 March uprising seeks to swap one dictator for another just as the 2017 coup did. It is no surprise that the Zanu PF thugs, especially those who felt sidelined by this Mnangagwa dictatorship are thrilled to see the 31 March uprising succeed. There is nothing in this 31 March uprising for the ordinary people as there was nothing in the 2017 coup, this is why no Zimbabwean with half a brain should support this uprising!
Middle finger salute to all the G40 who are singing “Good times are here again!”
https://www.facebook.com/4415858595176450/videos/2095444560925158
If Zimbabweans had known the soldiers they were hugging on 17 November 2017 would be massacring them 1st August 2018 would they have still welcomed the 2017 military coup? The truth is they had such premonitions, Mnangagwa and his Lacoste cronies were well known Zanu PF thugs.
The Geza revolution, 31 March uprising seeks to replace Mnangagwa with Chiwenga the man, some say issued the 1st August 2018 shoot to kill order and ordered the 2017 coup. He too will not hold free and far elections!
Yes indeed "BE WARNED! THE 31 MARCH UPRISING WILL NOT END THE ZANU PF DICTATORSHIP AND KILLINGS. STAY AWAY!"

Comrade Mathibela, as much as many os us would agree with you that Mnangagwa has proven beyond all doubt that he is unworthy of holding the office of the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe. You proposing replacing Mnangagwa with Chiwenga.
To be perfectly blunt , this is a foolish solution, to say the least because this is recycling the same failed leaders who got us into this mess in the first place. The nation was promised change following the 2017 coup and all that happened was swapped one dictator for another. The 31 March uprising is seeking to repeat the 2017 coup folly.
The problem is the Zanu PF dictatorship, it must be dismantled, removing the individual dictator is of no consequence as we have seen again and again these ;last 45 years! Enough is enough.
So the factional war is going up a gear or two and at this rate could well end up with the factional war escalating into a civil war! How did we get here?
Geza supporters have high tech kits for use on 31 March.
So the factional war is going up a gear or two and at this rate could well end up with the factional war escalating into a civil war! How did we get here?

The is a real possibility of the Zanu PF factional war turning bloody, each side's love of power is so strong they will do anything to retain power at all costs. This is the immovable object vs unstoppable force. The really tragedy here is that many innocent lives may be lost in the cross fire!
Zimbabweans must now find a solution to stop this Zanu PF juggernaut before it is too late - if it is not too late already! Decades of appeasing the regime has only allowed it to grow into the monster we see before us.
@ Chief Svosve
“Saka iwe what are you proposing in particular what solution do you have to stop Ed from changing the constitution and making himself life President…. Apart from criticizing anything and everything that anyone tries to do! Now we know where you belong - you are an ED iot!”
We all know that you are just one of the brain dead individual known for your blind loyalty to Chamisa. You used to call Chamisa “Change Champion in Chief” although you have failed to name even one change he has brought in 25 years.
Mnangagwa and Zanu PF would be history if MDC/CCC leaders had implemented the democratic reforms and stopped the party rigging the elections. Ever since the GNU debacle, MDC/CCC leaders have participated in flawed elections knowing do so would give Zanu PF legitimacy and perpetuate the dictatorship. They have participated out of greed.
How many times have I spoken about the need to implement reforms and the folly of participating in flawed elections. “What solutions do you have?” you keep asking. I have offered solutions!
Morgan Tsvangirai conned the people to support the 2017 coup, out of greed. I advised against it. The coup swapped Mugabe for Mnangagwa, no doubt stopped Mugabe becoming a life president, you would argue. All rubbish of course because the nation could have stopped him in the 2018 elections if MDC sell-out would stop participating in flawed elections. The same with Mnangagwa.
Mnangagwa will need to win the referendum to amend the constitution. Again if CCC leaders do not sell out and participate in the flawed process out of greed Mnangagwa will never win the referendum. Never!
MDC supported the 2017 coup and gave Mnangagwa legitimacy perpetuating the dictatorship and opening the possibility of him seeking his own life-presidency. The nation gained nothing from supporting the coup, you flatulent nincompoop! And now you want to repeat the foolishness by supporting the 31 March uprising which is seeking to swap Mnangagwa for Chiwenga! Fcuk me!

If successful the Geza 31 March uprising will end the ED2030 agenda, that is true. It is a lie to suggest the uprising will also deliver free and fair 2028 elections. Chiwenga, Geza and company will never implement reforms and reform themselves out of office. Never!
ED2030 can be stopped without supporting Geza uprising by insisting the referendum to approve constitutional amendment must be free and fair as per SADC and AU 2023 election reports. The challenge here, as with past elections, is to stop sell-out opposition participating in flawed process to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed!
Indeed, challenge is stopping opposition supporting Geza uprising out of greed. Chiwenga's offer of GNU gravy train seats will be irresistible!
@ Chief Svosve
"You are assuming that Zanu pf will go for a referendum - what if they don’t. Besides hauling insults at me and notable struggle leaders like Tsvangirayi and Chamisa what are you doing to stop 2030?"
If Zanu PF amends the constitution to allow the regime to postpone the presidential and parliamentary elections from 2028 to 2030 this must be approved by the people in a referendum.
Zimbabwe is a failed state and the problem is not just Zanu PF but the sell-out MDC/CCC leader who are Zanu PF team B in all but name - they have played for team A to win and have legitimacy. I have taken it upon myself to expose Zanu PF thuggery, MDC/CCC sell-outs and to educate the voters who are being conned by both Zanu PF and opposition alike!
@ Godfrey
"I would agree somewhat with instead MAY NOT END THE DICTATORSHIP but I strongly disagree with STAY AWAY as it has the effect of giving ED the leeway to manipulate the narrative and outcome and emboldening his grip on power in the process. Stay away is the language of ED’s spin doctors used to quell or weaken any form of resistance to his leadership.
I strongly believe any protest against the establishment goes a long way towards dismantling dictatorship."
People must stay away from the 31 March uprising because they have nothing to gain from participating and everything to lose from participating. The fact that not participating happens to be what Mnangagwa would want is irrelevant.
@ Arthur Mntungwa
“Yes, we all know that your Shona National Heroes are either those who participated in Gukurahundi, or those who supported Gukurahundi in the 1980s.
With Nyarotas unwavering support for Gukurahundi, as Editor of the Chronicle, it is no surprise he occupies a special space, in the hearts of the tribalistic Shona Hutu SADISTS.
Even Perence Shiri, the number on Shona Gukurahundi Hutu was declared a National Hero!”
I do not know of Nyarota’s involvement in the Gukurahundi massacre and therefore will not comment on matters that I do not know.
Nyarota did speak truth to power on the Willowvale Motor scandal, for example. The Willowvale Motor scandal named many Zanu PF leaders from all the country’s regions and tribes and some people did not like that given their own deep rooted tribesman mentality. Here was a story pitting their fellow tribesmen and women as being as corrupt and incompetent as the men and women from the cursed Shona!
Geoffrey Nyarota did something that many of us have never dared to do, speak the truth to power. You are angry that he was a Shona because in your infantile tribesman mentality all Shonas are “Shona Hutu SADISTS”!
Nyarota is a hero to many Zimbabweans and history will remember him as one; eat your heart out!

General V Sibanda speaks against corruption. Please do not insult our intelligence! Can you put you hand on the good book and swear that you and your fellow top brass officers in the Army, Police, CIO and Prison Services (Join Operation Command Junta brotherhood) are NOT corrupt!
"Removing criminals around Mugabe" was the smoke-screen for 2017 military coup, "Operation Restore Legacy" as the coup plotters dubbed it, to restore power from the G40 usurpers. Anti-corruption is just another smoke-screen to hide the latest power struggle in Zanu PF in which the Army is involved because it is a department of the party in all but name!
The Army, Police, CIO, Judiciary the sell-out opposition are all Zanu PF in all but name and this is why the 2017 military coup accomplished nothing. The Geza uprising, with or without the army's support, will too accomplish nothing other than swapping one dictator for another!
@ Miz
“Who do you want to dismantle the dictatorship for you, this narrative seems bull crap like staff coming from an Ed loyalist.”
The issue here is will the Geza uprising deliver the democratic changes we are all fighting for. I have said no, and gave my reasons why I said so. If you think it will work, then you must say why you think so.
Calling me an “ED loyalist” is not advancing the debate and is typical of the myopic mentality that got us into this mess. So everyone who dares to differ with you must be a ED loyalist.
I did not support the 2017 military coup because I felt it accomplish nothing since it replaced one dictator with another without ending the dictatorship. This Geza uprising seeks to replace Mnangagwa with Chiwenga and only a village idiot would not see it for what it is - a repeat of the 2017 coup facade!
The social media if full of pictures of potholes in Zimbabwe’s roads, of millions living in abject poverty, rigged elections, etc. this is the reality on the ground and not the vision 2030 mirage! Of course, the regime will want to deny the truth.

There is a relationship between the nation's economic prosperity and it good governance. Zimbabwe was an upper middle income nation in 1980 with a GDP per capita of US$ 8 000 and this has dropped to US$2 000. It is not surprising that Zimbabwe has been stuck with this corrupt, incompetent and tyrannical Zanu PF regime.
45 years after independence, Zimbabwe is yet to hold a free, fair and credible elections. The right to free and fair election is more than a right, it is the essence of good governance.
This is the same individual who worked for the Mugabe dictatorship that had promised the same freedoms and rights before independence only to deny the people the same after independence. The G40 are itching to come back into power. Only a fool will would the 31 March uprising will bring about any meaningful change.

Zimbabwe's political paralysis is as much a result of the corrupt and tyrannical Zanu PF regime as it is of the tragic reality that the MDC/CCC are Zanu PF team B in all but name.
It is very sad to note that Zimbabwe's so-called private media has connived in letting the sell out opposition off the hook! MDC/CCC leaders have failed to implement even one toke reform in 25 years, including 5 in the GNU, they have been participating in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed. Why is it that none of our private media houses have even acknowledged these realities!!!!
We have to wait for foreign press to hear that Chamisa is a liar! Our own local journalists join the brain dead Chamisa chete chete brigade in grovelling; worshipping the demigod!
