Geza 31 March Geza "uprising" will replace Mnangagwa with Chiwenga - repeating 2017 coup. There is nothing in it for povo. NOTHING! W Mukori

In 2017 the people of Zimbabwe responded to the call to come out into the street in support of the 15 November 2017 military coup.

(I insist in calling it a military coup because it WAS a military coup. Forget the nonsense that it was “a military assisted transition” - we call not call the musical chairs game a transition. As for the coup being “justified, legal and constitutional; that was just “bulls***t” as Blessed Geza would say.)

To go back to November 2017; the Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC fiends supported the coup out of greed. Chris Mutsvangwa promised Tsvangirai and company the coup leaders will form a new GNU similar to the 2008 to 2013 GNU. Tsvangirai discharged himself from his South Africa Hospital bed singing “The good times are here again!”

The MDC leaders failed to implement even one token reform during the 208 to 2013 GNU because they busy enjoying the gravy train good life. On joining the GNU, Mugabe saw to it that Tsvangirai & Co. were pampered with all the trapping of high office; the E-Class Mercedes Benz ministerial limo, the very generous salaries and perks, a US$ 4 million mansion for Save himself, etc. With their snouts in the feeding trough, of course, they forgot about implementing reforms.

The November 2017 coup was a Mafia style offer MDC leaders were too greedy to refuse! And so they took it!

MDC leaders had no problem persuading their brain-dead followers to come out on the street in support of the coup. The leaders told the mob the new GNU would implement all the democratic reforms and thus finally stop Zanu PF rigging elections. The mob believed it, no questions asked.

They never asked why the 2008 to 2013 GNU had failed to implement even one token reform. If they had asked, they would have seen immediately that if MDC leaders had failed to implement even one reform then when Zanu PF was hamstrung by the 2008 Global Political Agreement to implement the reforms of which SADC was the guarantor; the new GNU will have no chance of implement any meaning reform. None!

To sugar coat the bitter pill of a military coup, Mnangagwa assured the nation and the world at large that Zimbabwe hold free, fair and credible elections a.s.a.p.

When Mugabe saw the multitudes on the streets hugging and kissing the soldiers behind the coup, he knew the game was up. He signed his resignation letter as state president.

As soon as the coup leaders had Mugabe out of the way they brushed aside the promised GNU. Morgan Tsvangirai died a few week later “of a broken heart” at the GNU betrayal according to Chamisa.

Mnangagwa did not implement even one token democratic reform before the 2018 elections. He and his Zanu PF fiends blatantly rigged the 2018 and 2023 elections confirming that Zimbabwe was still a pariah state ruled by corrupt, incompetent and vote rigging thugs. The 2017 coup had swapped one dictator, Mugabe, for another dictator, Mnangagwa but otherwise nothing had changed!

There is nothing, NOTHING, to make any one believe that this 31 March “uprising” Blessed Geza is calling for, is not  a repeat of the November 2017 military coup. The uprising is seeking to replace one dictator, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, with another dictator, Constantino Guveya Chiwenga.

(Gaza’s attempts to portray VP Chiwenga as any thing but just another Zanu PF thug must be dismissed with the contempt it deserves. Chiwenga is corrupt, incompetent and has played his part in the establishment and retention of the Zanu PF one-party dictatorship and had his lion’s share of the spoils. To say otherwise is to insult our intelligence and after 45 years of these Zanu PF insults; you should stop the bulls***t!)

If the 31 March 2025 uprising is to replace one dictator with another, a repeat of 2017 coup, then the people of Zimbabwe must stay away. An uprising that only seeks to perpetuate the dictatorship and the people’s suffering as the 2017 coup did is not worth supporting! Period!

"When the Righteous are in authority, the people Rejoice but when the wicked reign the people mourn (Proverbs 29:2).

True! It is just that in Zimbabwe we have the knack for recycling the wicked regime because we do not have the common sense to admit it to ourselves that it is the political system that is at fault. Swapping one dictator with another without ending the dictatorship itself is foolish and futile!

@ Ish

How naive! So she participated knowing the process is flawed and that participating will give Zanu PF legitimacy. Took up her gravy train seat even after both SADC and AU condemned the process just to ensure Zanu PF got legitimacy. Then and only then did she resign because she did not want the gravy train salary and perks! Only an idiot would believe that!

@ Vums

The 2017 coup accomplished nothing, that is a negative and it must be addressed and not swept under the carpet particularly when there is a real danger of nincompoops repeating it!

He has failed to explain that this is not just another Zanu PF internal war in which one faction seeks to use the people’s suffering as a smoke screen in its fight knowing fully well that which ever faction wins it will keep the dictatorship untouched.

This is as cynical as a hyena telling the goat that it is a vegetarian for the purpose of getting the goat’s help off the trap only to feast on the goat as soon as it is free. It is foolish of the goats to keep falling for the same dirty tricks!

The Geza 31 March uprising will seek to replace Mnangagwa with Chiwenga, repeating the farcical change following the 2017 military coup is which Mugabe was replaced by Mnangagwa. The people were asked to come out into the streets in their hundreds of thousands to give the coup legitimacy. The people are being asked to do the same again on 31 March 2025.

Opposition leaders supported the 2017 coup out of greed and they will do the same again. No doubt they will con their brain-dead supporters to support the up rising just as they were conned to support the 2017 coup. The swapping of Mugabe for Mnangagwa did not bring about any meaningful change, as we can readily testify; the swapping of Mnangagwa for Chiwenga will bring about no meaningful changes either.

Why anyone with half a brain would support the 31 March uprising after the 2017 coup beggars belief! But then, it explains why we are a failed state; we have millions of brain-dead voters in Zimbabwe. Millions!

"You seem so obsessed with Mahere now and you keep repeating the same argument over and over again. To the extent it would appear Maheres misdemeanours are now the root cause of our misfortunes as a nation. Bigger than the vision of the Great Zimbabwe that is standing right there before everyone to see!!"

Of course the nation is stuck in this mess because the opposition sold out - that should be obvious.

There will be no meaningful change in Zimbabwe as long as we have millions of Zimbabwe who are so dumb and stupid they consider mere mortals like Chamisa to be demigods. These idiots were conned to participate in flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy again and again. We must deal with this problem!

@ Mambo

So if I do not offer “a concrete solution” it is ok to be swapping Mnangagwa with Chiwenga? Was it ok swapping Mugabe for Mnangagwa? Some people are really brain-dead!

“Geza’s Divisive Image: While Geza's past ties to ZANU-PF give him insider credibility, they also raise questions about his motives. For many Zimbabweans, his sudden emergence as a critic of Mnangagwa may seem opportunistic rather than inspiring. Without broader opposition support, Geza's appeal could struggle to gain traction.

3. Lack of Clear Strategy: Successful movements often thrive on clear demands and leadership. While Geza has called for Mnangagwa's resignation, his message lacks a clear roadmap for what comes next - a gap that could weaken public confidence.”

The uprising is a repeat of the November 2017 military in that it is backed by the army although it is not clear what role, if any, the army will play this time. If the uprising does succeed in forcing Mnangagwa to resign it is no secret that Geza & Co. would replace him with VP Chiwenga.

The November 2017 military coup resulted in Mugabe being replaced with Mnangagwa and, unfortunately, nothing else change. The coup plotters had promised a new GNU and free and fair elections to entice the opposition and the public to support the coup. But no sooner had Mugabe resigned the coup plotters forgot about their promises.

Geza & Co. have made similar promises of new GNU and promises to implement the reforms to ensure free, fair and credible elections. Many people have openly expressed their fear of the uprising organisers not honouring any of their promises and the post uprising regime becoming a replica of this regime as happened with the post November 2017 coup regime. This, more than anything else, is making many people think twice about supporting the 31 March uprising.

The people have been conned again and again by both Zanu PF and the opposition. The people opening their eyes to the political reality of corrupt, incompetent and utterly useless political leaders is now a key requirement for meaningful political change in Zimbabwe.

Of course, it will be very foolish for Zimbabweans to support the 31 March uprising to get another dictator swap and continue to suffer under the dictatorship. What the nation wants is to dismantle the dictatorship itself and not swapping dictators!

@ Vusani Magwala

“Zimbabwe is a nation in crisis, and the time for silence has passed. Power cuts are routine, water supplies are unreliable, and roads are riddled with potholes. The healthcare system has collapsed, with patients forced to sleep on hospital floors. Unemployment is rampant, and citizens struggle daily to make ends meet. Yet amid this hardship, the people remain silent - not because they are blind to their suffering, but because they are afraid. Years of political intimidation, state violence, and crackdowns on dissent have left Zimbabweans hesitant to speak out. But as the country spirals deeper into economic and social decay, the question is no longer if citizens will rise - it's when.

Zimbabweans are frustrated, angry, and tired of waiting for change. "I hope they can take advantage of the situation and do it, not for Geza but for themselves. Geza has lifted the lid, but mostly Zimbabweans don't care about their country anymore. That's the only concern I have." This sentiment reflects a nation on the edge, with people increasingly aware that passiveness will only allow the suffering to deepen.”

Are you sure you are not seeing far more in this Geza uprising than there is! The 2017 military coup presented the nation with an identical opportunity to press for change and the people came out in their hundreds of thousands in support of the coup. But everyone would agree the coup did not bring about any meaningful change.

The coup allowed Zanu PF to swap the dictator of the last 37 years, Mugabe, for his long serving henchman, Mnangagwa. There was no meaningful political or economic changes since the two were equally corrupt, incompetent, murderous and vote rigging thugs. Zimbabwe remain a pariah state.

We already know that the Geza uprising is seeking to replace Mnangagwa with Chiwenga and retain the dictatorship untouched. Why should the swap of one set of dictators transform a failed state, a seasoned dictatorship, into a prosperous democracy; the miracle transformation that the last swap failed to accomplish?

As long as Zimbabwe remains a dictatorship swap one dictator for another will never produce a just and prosperous but oppressive and vote rigging dictatorship. Never!

The 2017 military coup failed to deliver any changes because it as a swap of one dictator for another. What was required was to dismantle the failed political system - the dictatorship itself. The 31 March 2025 uprising is seeking to swap one dictator for another and leave the dictatorship untouched. Only a fool will fail to see this is just a repeat of the failed 2017 coup.

We are a nation of fools, we have had 45 years and counting of rigged elections. Many people have not even noticed that!

“The problem with you is that you only point out what's wrong. Who's truly brain-dead, the one taking steps to drive change or the one claiming it's impossible from 15,000 kilometres away?”

The truth is the truth, it does not matter whether the speaker is 15 000 km away or is before you.

If some one told you the 10th American President was NOT Barack Obama, for example, it is foolish to refuse to listen just because the individual does not know the right answer. Knowing Obama is the wrong answer is just as important because retaining the wrong answer is of no value.

Swapping one dictator for another leaving the dictatorship untouched will NOT drive change. The experience of the 2017 coup proved that nothing will change as long as the Zanu PF dictatorship remains untouched.

Mnangagwa threatening those who dare challenge his authority.

He is clinging on to power because he does not want to be held to account for the many innocent Zimbabweans he has killed to create and retain the de facto one party state he and his Zanu PF cronies have imposed on the nation these last 45 years. He has had a long rope but he knows that the end is near and the day of reckoning round the corner.

You still do not get it!

People supported the liberation war but when independence came the masses were forgotten.

Zimbabweans have risked lives and limbs to elect the MDC/CCC leaders these last 25 years. These leaders did get into power and forgot about implementing reforms.

In 2017 the military coup leaders wanted public support and hundreds of thousands supported the coup. Mnangagwa took over from Mugabe but nothing else changed. The 31 March uprising is a repeat of the 2017 military coup in that the uprising is seeking to replace one dictator with another. How anyone can fail to see the sheer futility of it all beggars belief.

No wonder we are failed state. The penny has not dropped even after 45 years of rigged elections; some people still expect change from the dictatorship.

“The problem you are not here and therefore all the information you gave about Zim it's only a hearsay. We are not resentful this time unlike 2017 as we are dealing with our mistake. You people in diaspora depend on past events instead current issues thus why you become emotional and despite our good move, the same despite that brings despondence to us such that we lose our psychopath balance.

We, Zimbabweans, we are very our aware of the monstrous mistake we made in 2017, we are snake that once spate us venom. Our eyes are well covered by binoculars . Come home and join the non cowardice genre. People watching the football match from the terraces echo virile ranting when a striker misses a penalty, not forgetting that they are giving him a courage and confidence to be top goal scorer and his team win.”

In 2017 you were, or all those who came out in support of the coup did not depend “on hearsay”. So why did they still make the mistakes?

“We are aware of the monstrous mistake we made in 2017”, you said. What was that mistake?

You love boosting but you clearly have no clue what you are wittering about! I have no patience with people who claim to know something only to find they lack even common sense. Only an idiot would claim to know better than everyone who is in the diaspora especial in this day and age!

I do not agree with what she said about USAID. It has become fashionable to blame the West for Africa’s problems and she has made a name for herself for doing that.

USAID was paying for food aid feeding millions, paying for HIV/AIDS drugs, etc. It is all very well to say Africa did not need the aid because the individual nation could pay for all these things if money was not wasted. The truth is money is indeed wasted and cutting off the aid is not going to stop the corruption and waste. This will continue and the millions will starve, die of AIDS, etc.
She once held a very senior ambassadorial position and I do not remember her ever using that position to get African leaders to address the continent’s many teething problems.

Indeed, she was very popular with the continent’s dictators, pharaohs and despots; she defended them at every turn, they were victims of colonialism and neo-colonialism!

Cutting aid to Africa will not end corruption in Africa nor stop outsiders loot Africa.

Burkina Faso is doing well at present, it is like China, the dictatorship is working but if the next dictator is corrupt there will be no removing him from power! As long as nothing is done to create a stable political system the long term prosperity of totalitarian nations is always uncertain.

Many Americans are regretting having Trump in White House. Still, they know they can boot him out in four years time. When there are no free and fair elections - you are stuck!

You can fool SOME people ALL the time.
You can fool ALL people SOME of the time.
But you cannot fool ALL people ALL the time!
Now we see the light!

In a country like Zimbabwe where there are millions of brain-dead voters it is possible to fool ALL the people ALL the time again and again and again. How many times have both Zanu PF and MDC/CCC leaders conned Zimbabweans to do one foolish thing after another? I have lost count!

Zimbabweans were conned to support 2017 coup and nothing changed and now they are being conned to support 31 March uprising knowing fully well that no change will ever come from it! NOTHING! How is it possible we can be so blind, thick and shallow?
