CCC hell bent on participating in 2023 elections regardless how flawed out of greed P Guramatunhu

The 2023 Zimbabwe elections will be taking place by August 2023, that is seven months to go. The political temperature is rising!

When Emmerson Mnangagwa seized power following the November 2017 military coup he was cocksure sure his “Zimbabwe is open for business!” mantra will open the flood gates of investors and kick-start the country’s economic recovery. Very few investors have responded to the call.

The mantra was dead in the water when, by rigging the 2018 elections, Mnangagwa confirmed Zimbabwe was still a pariah state ruled by corrupt, incompetent and ruthless thugs who rigged elections to stay in power; as was the case before the coup.

Indeed, the coup was just a musical chair to replace the dictator and a few around him with another dictator who added a few new faces to the old administration. As for policy, vote rigging, etc. it was business as usual.

It is therefore no surprise that country’s economic fortunes have not change much; employment is still a nauseating 90%, basic services like health care and education have all but collapsed, nearly 50% of the population now live in abject poverty. And so to retain power in these 2023 elections, Mnangagwa has no other option than to pull all the stop to rig the process and use wanton violence.

Zanu PF is rigging the 2023 elections and there is already a mountain of evidence of the rigging. Last week ZEC confirm the commission’s delimitation report tabled in parliament was not based on a verified voters’ roll and that the elections will go ahead, regardless. There are a number of reported cases of violence and the numbers and the seriousness of the cases will increase and get worse as election temperature increases.

What outsiders not familiar with Zimbabwe politics will find surprising is the reaction of CCC and the rest in the opposition camp; they are hell bent on participating in these flawed elections no matter how hot the temperature rises. Why, the outsiders, may well ask?

Nelson Chamisa and his friends in the opposition know that Mnangagwa needs the opposition to participate in these elections to maintain the illusion Zimbabwe is a healthy and functioning democratic country to win legitimacy from SADC. And to entice the opposition Zanu PF allows them to win a few gravy train seats – small price to pay for legitimacy.

MDC had the golden opportunity to implement the democratic reforms and stop Zanu PF rigging elections during the 2008 to 2013 GNU. They failed to implement even one token reform in five years for the same reason MDC and now CCC has been participating in flawed elections – greed.

Mugabe bribed the MDC leaders with the trapping of high office and the rest is history.

MDC/CCC leaders have been given all manner of excuses to justify why they persist in participating in these flawed elections just to hide the real reason -greed. Most of the times they pretend the elections are free, fair and credible and doggedly refuse to even acknowledge the mountain of evidence of rigging. This always culminates with the same individuals complaining of Zanu PF rigging the morning after the voting when it’s all too late since Zanu PF has secured legitimacy.

When the evidence of vote rigging and violence cannot be ignored, Chamisa and company claim they will win big regardless because they have winning in rigged elections (wire) strategies. When the election result are announce, they will once again complain the elections were rigged without ever admitting their wire strategies were just hot air.

The temperature of the 2023 elections is hotting up and Chamisa and company are playing one of their favourite tricks – appeal to SADC and the international community at large to intervene.

“The opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) says it has sent an appeal to Southern African Development Community (Sadc) and African Union (AU) and will also lobby international organisations to intervene on political violence as the country heads for polls in July or August this year,” reported Newsday Zimbabwe.

It was SADC that intervened following the blatant cheating and wanton violence of the 2008 elections and forced Mugabe to agree to the implementation of the raft of democratic reforms designed to stop Zanu PF rigging the elections in future. Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC friends failed to implement even one reform in five years.

SADC advised MDC leaders not to participate in the 2013 election without first implementing the reforms and their advice fell on deaf ears. As noted above MDC leaders failed to implement even one reform in five years of the GNU and have been participating in flawed elections because of greed.

SADC, EU, the Americans, etc. have all recommended that Zimbabwe must implement democratic reforms to ensure free and fair elections. It is none other than CCC and the rest in the opposition camp who have insisted on elections with no reforms for selfish reasons. And Chamisa and company know this too!

“The worst aspect for me about the failure to agree a coalition was that both MDCs couldn’t now do the obvious – withdraw from the (2013) elections,” confessed David Coltart, CCC Treasurer General, in his Book, The Struggle Continues 50 years of Tyranny in Zimbabwe.

“The electoral process was so flawed, so illegal, that the only logical step was to withdraw, which would compel SADC to hold Zanu PF to account. But such was the distrust between the MDC-T and MDC-N that neither could withdraw for fear that the other would remain in the elections, winning seats and giving the process credibility.”

In short CCC leaders know that Zimbabwe will never ever have free, fair and credible elections and good governance without first implementing the democratic reforms. Chamisa and company’s call for SADC intervention is just another time-wasting gimmick to hide they their iron resolve to participate in these flawed elections to once again give Zanu PF legitimacy in return for a share of the spoils of power!

Some material facts on the ground both historical and ongoing do not support the strength of a BOYCOTT you claim.
You are arguing Govt would have been forced to implement (put proposed reforms into action or practice) because the proposed reforms would have been underwritten by SADC. - Then by extrapolation - You would expect Govt to honour the Zimbabwe constitution ostensibly underwritten by SADC.
WHY ARE THEY NOT PRACTICING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONSTITUTION THEN?
WHY WOULD GOVT BE COMPELLED TO HONOUR A PROPOSED REFORM ABOVE CONSTITUTIONAL STATUTES?
These are the questions posed that need clarification to establish a common understanding going forward.
It goes without saying that reforms would have had no effect on government's intransigence on reforming their practice judging from their present violations with impunity (on SADC watch).”
SADC never endorse Zimbabwe’s 2013 constitution because they knew it was weak and hence the reason they wanted reforms implemented before the 2013 elections. They knew the new constitution would never deliver free and fair elections.
There are people who have made up their minds that MDC did nothing wrong during the GNU, there is evidence to prove otherwise. You will never get CCC and the wildebeest herd to boycott the elections.
Rather than waste any time trying to convert them I would rather focus on driving home the message that Zanu PF is rigging the elections, CCC are participating to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of greed and CCC supporters are participating in to give Zanu PF legitimacy out of desperation and/or stupidity. The harder the message is driven home the harder it will be for SADC to grant Zanu PF legitimacy.

ANC resolved "to stop regime change in Zimbabwe" and use Zimbabwe as template for doing the same in SA! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQlX4Jf529o

There must have been something with the message because according to ZEC only 1/4 million people registered to vote from 2018 to 30 May 2022. This is 4% of CCC's own target of registering 6 million!
Mass voter registration is CCC’s flagship winning in rigged elections strategy and it is clearly dead in the water. And yet how many times have we heard Chamisa and company proclaim they are winning big because they have registered many voters when they know that is not true!
ZEC has stubbornly refused to produce a verified voters’ roll and, of course, we all know why. These last months before the elections it is Zanu PF supporters who will be registering.
Zanu PF is rigging these elections and CCC are participating to give Zanu PF legitimacy and win a few gravy train seat on offer as the bribe. After 43 years of rigged elections we must end this selling out and insanity!

After 43 years of rigging elections and getting away with it one would think it is now a walk in the park for Mnangagwa and his cronies. On the contrary, the rigging has got tougher – for one thing everyone involved is demanding more in bribes, the decades of bribes have whetted their appetites and the worsening economic situation has only made the situation worse, there is simply not enough loot to go round.
Getting away with the rigging, there is another mountain to climb. How can you claim the election was free and fair when you cannot even produce a verified voters’ roll? As much as Zanu PF needs a weak and feeble opposition even Mnangagwa must now realise that CCC has become so weak, feeble and utterly useless; it has lost all political credibility.
I am not a betting man but this time I will bet my bottom dollar that Zanu PF will rig the 2023 elections, yes, but will not get political legitimacy! We are living through the last months of the infamous Zanu PF dictatorship.
Mnangagwa must have know that Zanu PF’s reign of terror would come to an end but like all tyrants he never thought it would come in his presidency and so soon.

NEW research by the Democratic Governance and Rights Unit (DGRU) has demonstrated how the Maintenance of Peace and Order Act (Mopa) militates against free and fair elections more than the draconian Public Order and Security Act (Posa) which was repealed for violating provisions of the constitution, by stifling political gatherings among other shortcomings.”
And yet nothing absolutely nothing will stop CCC participating in these flawed and illegal elections. They will participate to give Zanu PF legitimacy and thus perpetuate the dictatorship. All for the sake of a few gravy train seats, for 30 pieces of silver!
43 years after independence, in this day and age; we are still failing to hold free and fair elections. We were short-changed by Zanu PF thugs when the party hijacked the liberation struggle to impose this de facto one-party dictatorship.
We had the golden opportunity to dismantle the dictatorship during the GNU but it was wasted because MDC sold out. The dimwits have been dragging the nation into these meaningless election out of greed when even they admit it is foolish to do so.
How long are we going to continue this madness!

Economist and former opposition legislator Eddie Cross has confirmed that President Emmerson Mnangagwa is not loved by anyone after revealing that in the 2018 elections, former first lady Grace Mugabe bankrolled the opposition leader Nelson Chamisa.

“By 2017, the fiscal deficit was 40% of the budget, how do you run a country like that? We had US$23 million in our bank accounts which we called United States dollars but it wasn’t United States dollars. It was there because Mugabe was printing money to cover the deficit. We were headed for the rocks again and that was when Mnangagwa decided the change of government was necessary, and on the 17th of November, the transition took place. I was actually still in Parliament. I sat at the Harare International Conference Centre waiting to impeach the old man, and then in walked a messenger with Mugabe’s letter of resignation,” Cross said.
If Mnangagwa had to pull all the stops to win the 2018 elections, he is not any better off now when it is clear his “Zimbabwe is open for business!” mantra is dead in the water. And he is clearly aware of his re-election challenges and has responded by digging deep, his bribes have gone up.
Last November the nation learned Mnangagwa was paying his minister US$500 000, deputy ministers US$ 350 000 and MPs US$40 000. Housing loans – a euphonism for free money. The opposition MPs received the bribe too and no doubt will guarantee the opposition participation in this year’s elections.
Mnangagwa has since paid CIO directors US$ 350 000 and similar payments for those in other occupation to secure their commitment to the important task of rigging the 2023 elections for him.
He does not care about the economic consequences of all this reckless spending of the national economy. All he cares about is winning the elections at all costs! The madness must be stopped here and now. Mnangagwa must not be granted legitimacy for rigging the 2023 elections.

As global firms dash to Zimbabwe to cash in on Lithium exploration and concentrate exports, it remains to be seen what the government will do to ensure Zimbabwe does not remain a mere producer of concentrates. The ban on the export of lithium ore was necessary and critical in curbing the invasion of lithium assets by unregulated artisanal miners. It remains to be seen if exemptions and special permits to politically exposed persons or entities will not reverse this positive regulation which has affected artisanal miners only. Mining is now a cog in Zimbabwe's social and economic fabric as a source of employment and foreign currency. For now, citizens can only wish that licensed lithium miners are contributing their fair share in terms of paying taxes and requisite levies to the rural district councils where they mine. Similarly, safety and employment standards are strictly enforced on all foreign owned mines to protect vulnerable mine workers. The government must be seized with luring lithium battery component manufacturers and creating a conducive environment for beneficiation. Lastly, the nation hopes that the Lithium rush will not yield another resource curse (similar to Bolivia) where the country suffers the scars of excessive mining with no tangible social benefits in the areas that are endowed with the resource.
Zimbabwe is a pariah state governed by corrupt and incompetent and vote rigging thugs and per se unstable and chaotic. No one would want to invest on long term projects in such country. Most economic activity is Zimbabwe is strictly short term, make as much money as possible whilst you can and get the hell out of the country at the very first sign of trouble.
Mnangagwa was clearly aware of the urgent need to end Zimbabwe’s pariah state status as the first step to economic recovery and hence his promise to stamp out corruption and hold free elections. He was so sure of his administration being totally different to Mugabe’s he ventured to call it a new dispensation, a second republic. Sadly he failed to keep any of his promises and a new name was not enough to lose the pariah state label.
Zanu PF is rigging the 2023 elections and thus another opportunity to end the pariah state status has been lost.
And so lithium will too become yet another curse for Zimbabwe as the looters once again move in to share the spoils with the ruling elite whilst the nation at large will have nothing to show for.
This is a tragedy of our own making; we have done nothing to end the Zanu PF dictatorship these last 43 years. People get the government they deserve and we deserve this Zanu PF dictatorship complete with the corrupt and incompetent CCC opposition!

“One cannot help wondering (loudly, in my case) why Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko would have the audacity to tell Mnangagwa - during the signing ceremony for eight bilateral agreements between Belarus and Zimbabwe - to 'work extremely hard to win this year's elections…and, hope he will be able to pass through this'?

Is this guy for real!

The only question screaming loudly in my head is - what are you so terrified of President Lukashenko, in the event of your brother, Mnangagwa, being voted out of office?

I know that birds of a feather flock together (and, by extension, support each other) - since, we are dealing with rogue leaders, who have become a pariah on the global stage - through, their utter disdain and loathing for the respect of their fellow citizens' rights, and free, fair and credible elections.”
Mnangagwa is rigging the 2023 elections and knows that his hold on power will be at its weakest when he pretends the elections were free and fair and everyone can see that is a lie! The Belarus dictator knows that only too well. This state visit is meant to give Mnangagwa the much needed moral support, stiffen his resolve to rig the elections and to fight off the backlash of those demanding an end to rigged elections.
Zimbabwe’s opposition has never been this weak and feeble, most people can see Chamisa and company are participating in these elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy in return for the few gravy train seat. The opposition has lost political credibility and even SADC leaders will find it very difficult to pretend the elections were free and the opposition credible and grant Zanu PF legitimacy!
If President Cyril Ramaphosa of SA grants Zanu PF legitimacy regardless of the rigged elections he will see a backlash from Zimbabweans flooding into SA and from his own people. South Africans will blame him for propping a dictatorship in Zimbabwe for the purposes of using it as a template for imposing a dictatorship in SA! South Africans have tasted democracy and they will not give it up readily, especially for a failed ANC regime. Backing a Zanu PF dictatorship could well be the last straw to break the camel’s back.

SA has banned Zimbabwe train wagons on its territory because they are badly maintained.
Everything in Zimbabwe is in varying stages of rot and decay after decades of poor funding. And it is not because the country has no money, we just have the wrong priorities. Mnangagwa has splashed billions of dollars on housing loans to MPs, deputy ministers, ministers, CIO directors, etc., etc. buying their support in the up coming elections whilst key national assets are allowed to rot!

“Due to the economic sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe.”
So the ill effects of the economic sanctions are affecting everyone else but not the ruling elite. Minister getting US$500 000 each tax-free bonus whilst rain water flows through the wards in Parerenyatwa Hospital, the country’s biggest referral hospital. The chefs have stopped using local hospitals a long time ago so they are not affected. And we are being asked to blame this on sanctions?
What is happening in Zimbabwe is a classical case of the nation’s resources being used for the glory of Caesar and not the good of Rome. The ruling elite are blaming sanctions for Zimbabwe’s economic meltdown because they will never admit they are robbing the nation blind. Never!

President Hakainde Hichilema,

Chair,

Sadc Organ on Politics, Defence and Security

The Zimbabwe diaspora vote, a grouping of Zimbabweans living outside Zimbabwe, congratulates you on the occasion of your taking over as chairperson for the Sadc Organ on Politics and Defence.

We are confident that your term will see further improvement in the political environment in the region, based on the impressive reforms we have witnessed in Zambia since you took over as President of that country.

We hope that you will positively influence your peers in the region to be firm on fulfilling promises they make to the electorate.
The Zimbabwe Diaspora Vote Initiative looks forward to a fruitful engagement with the Sadc Organ on Politics, Defence and Security.

Rosewiter Mangiroza
Zimbabwe Diaspora Vote
Initiative chair.
There are as many as 3 million Zimbabweans in the diaspora, by the Zanu PF government’s own accounts, who have been denied the vote ostensibly because “Zanu PF cannot campaign for diaspora votes because of sanctions imposed by the West!” Patrick Chinamasa, explain in June 2021! Of course, this is nonsense. Why should these Zimbabweans be denied their right because of quarrel over which they have no say.
Besides, Zanu PF can travel to SADC country, why has those in these countries being denied the vote too.
The truth is most of the Zimbabweans in the diaspora are there as economic and/or political refugees; they blame Zanu PF for this and therefore would not vote for the party. 3 million in the diaspora constitute more than 2.4 million who voted for Mnangagwa in 2018 election or 37% of the potential 8 million voters.
How can 2023 elections be free and fair when one contestant denied 37% of the potential voters the vote?
Zanu PF is rigging these 2023 elections and it would be absurd if the regime was granted legitimacy by SADC, as has happened in the past!

ZIMBABWE has been ranked among countries that have high corruption levels by an international transparency organisation.

Transparency International ranked Zimbabwe on number 152 out of 180 countries with a score of 23 out of 100 in its latest survey.
"Countries with strong institutions and well-functioning democracies often find themselves at the top of the Index. On the flip side, countries experiencing conflict or where basic personal and political freedoms are highly restricted tend to earn the lowest marks," read the report.

The latest ranking is a slap on the face of the government that has been preaching the anti corruption mantra since assuming power in 2017.

After ascending to power through a military assisted coup, President Emmerson Mnangagwa vowed to end corruption through reviving Zimbabwe Anti Corruption Commission,(ZACC).

However, ZACC has been accused of being a toothless bulldog in tackling graft with arrests of high profile individuals leading to them being released by the courts.
Zimbabwe is a pariah state ruled by corrupt and incompetent thugs who rig elections to stay in power. The problems of mismanagement and corruptions cannot be dealt with as long as the country remains in the iron grip of these thugs who are accountable to no one!
It is clear Zanu PF is rigging the 2023 elections and CCC are participating to give the regime legitimacy for the sake of a few gravy train seats on offer as bait. And as long as Zimbabwe fail to hold free and fair elections, the curse of rigged elections and with it the pariah state label will remain. There will be no meaningful economic recover as long as the country remains a pariah state where corruption remains rampant!

One has only to listen to Mavaza and Svosve to understand why Zimbabwe is in a real mess; the two, each a macrocosm of the party the support, are obsessed about trivia. If you corner them on some important issues, they will lie or pretend they did not understand the question.
Mavaza insist Zimbabwe elections have always been free and fair and yet even SADC and AU refused to rubber stamp the 2008 elections results forcing Zanu PF to accept the need for the reforms. The primary purpose of the 2008 to 2013 GNU was to implement reforms. The failure to produce a verified voters roll, the increase in violence, etc. is proof Zanu PF is rigging the 2023 elections.
Chief Svosve dismissed ZEC’s report that as of 30 May 2022 only ¼ million new voters had registered or 4% of CCC’s own 6 million target. He said the number was much higher than that but would not say how many. We are back to 2018 when Chamisa claimed he had won 2.6 million votes but failed to produce the V11.
SADC, EU, the Americans, etc. have all said it is futile to participating in elections so flawed winning 73% was not good enough to win power. Zimbabwe needs reforms before elections. CCC have ignored the advice out of greed, they are after the few gravy train seats on offer as bait. The insanity of rigged elections and perpetuating the dictatorship for 30 pieces of silver must be stopped!

“When the so called elite are stuck in limbo and behave like a car which is stuck in third gear, the noise from the engine becomes irritating and annoying. Similarly, singing the same song and expecting a different outcome is only done by those with learning difficulty. Unfortunately, kupenga hakufanani and is easily transmitted to a bigger crowd if not contained.
This platform has some toxic conversations which cripple the progress of any discussion. I was away from this platform for a full month and on return, its like I Reading the last message which was shared 30 days ago. It would be nice to come back to progressive discussions and the surprise that a certain elderly man, who ran away from his nation, now has attracted numbers and is being invited onto global platforms to hear out his plan of action.”
Yes, Chris we know what you want! You want us all to embrace the CCC message that the party is going to win big and call Chamisa CCIC! That would constitute progress.
All those who dare point out that without reforms Zanu PF is rigging these elections as it rigged elections in the past and participating will only give the regime legitimacy are “stuck in the past, a car stuck in third gear!”
The people who are insane here are those who are participating in flawed elections expecting to win big although all the evidence show they are losing, yet again.
You are appealing to people to follow the herd instinct – progress is defined by what the leaders say in this case that Chamisa is Change Champion In Chief and CCC is going to win big.
I am appealing to people to follow reason, evidence, truth and reality – Chamisa and MDC have failed to bring about even one token change in 23 years and that Zanu PF is rigging these elections!
I will never be persuaded by your idiotic innuendoes, “certain elderly man, who ran away from his nation”. What has age got to do with reason and truth? We are in this mess because Zanu PF imposed the foolish idea that only those who fought in the liberation struggle are competent to rule the country. And now we are having to deal with yet another version of the same foolishness – that only those who have never left Zimbabwe know best!

Thanks to Comrade Napoleon, how good this water tastes!
We are stuck in this hell-hole precisely because MDC/CCC failed to implement even one reform even when they had the golden opportunity to do so during the GNU. The twats are dragging us into one meaningless election process after another by insisting they have winning in rigged election strategies. All hot air, of course, but try telling the naive and gullible wildebeest herd!
Now that the herd has the slogan Change Champion In Chief they are psyched to do whatever Chamisa tells them. They cannot name even one change Chamisa has brought in 23 years but when you are brain dead you believe whatever you are told.
We should George Orwell was not exaggerating that there are some societies with a large population of sheep whose minds are as malleable as mud! First it was Zanu PF and now it is MDC/CCC doing as they damn well please with the mud!
Life is a tough task master, those who will not learn from the past are doom to repeat the same mistakes and pay dearly with each repeat. Another rigged election this year will mean 5 more years of the Zanu PF dictatorship with all that entails! After 43 years of rigged elections we expect the opposition to win although we not implemented even one token change to stop the rigging.

“The missed opportunity during GNU does not mean we should banish them CCC/NC to the rubbish pit – that’s throwing the baby with the bath water - there is a lot to salvage from CCC - their clout in drawing huge following is a strength that can be built on. They made error of judgement during GNU (they thought they had enough following to overwhelm Zanu) - which they had but was not it all they required to gain power - 73% for example. We need to identify and extract their weaknesses from this otherwise ONLY strong opposing force on the ground. We should not throw them away with their strengths.”
MDC failed to submit even one reform proposal in five years ignoring the relentless nagging from SADC to do so and you call that an “error of judgement”? Zanu PF cronies did not think so. “Mazivanhu eMDC adzidza kudya anyerere!” they boasted when asked why MDC were not implementing reforms. MDC leaders failed to implement even one reform because they are corrupt and incompetent; that is a historic fact!
2014 MDC-T party congress acknowledged participating in the 2013 elections without reforms was foolish and resolved not to do it again. “No reform, no elections!” By December 2015 the party was already talking opening of participating in the next elections because “we will drag Zanu PF to implement the reforms kicking and screaming!” Greed had got the better of them. What is more, MDC/CCC leaders are still corrupt and incompetent, they have not changed.
MDC are hell bent on participating in these flawed elections out of greed. Some people are hell bent on participating in these elections because the view CCC as the only opposition party – who they are and where they are going is irrelevant.
Zanu PF is rigging the 2023 elections and the case to stop the regime getting legitimacy is two-fold:
1) Produce the evidence that the process is so flawed and illegal it is an outrage to call it free, fair and credible process.
2) Produce the evidence Zimbabwe’s opposition are participating in these flawed elections because they are corrupt and incompetent and therefore have no political credibility.
Zanu PF will be denied political legitimacy because the electoral process is so flawed there is nothing to observe or verify and the opposition participated precisely because they have no political credibility.
We are stuck with MDC/CCC just as we are stuck with Zanu PF because some people will never accept that MDC/CCC are corrupt and incompetent regardless of the evidence. The fact that CCC is the main opposition is now an excuse for following the party blindly.
To stop Zanu PF getting legitimacy we do not need a opposition party. Indeed, the present poisoned political system will never produce a quality opposition party. We need to implement the reforms, drain the sewage pond and only then can we have hope to catch fish.

Muzorewa and Sithole participated in Smith's internal settlement in 1979 and failed to get legitimacy because the main opposition parties Zanu and Zapu did not participate. Now we have the new Muzorewa and Sithole participating in flawed elections and they are the main opposition!
Chamisa and company are hell bent on participating to give Zanu PF legitimacy in return for a few gravy train seats. They failed to implement even one reform during the GNU for the same reason greed!
Of course, CCC leaders are sell outs and their political credibility is now under the spotlight.

“This is shallow thinking. U have the tools but u do not know how to use them. It would be nice if u could have a discussion without mentioning both Zanu and CCC. We prefer to hear how our nation can follow the steps taken by Rwanda, Kenya and now Zambia. Nairobi is a much bigger city than Harare but the cleanliness and New projects namely international Hotels highlight its skylines. Our country has done wonders in our tourist destinations but the Exodus of our own people points wrongly to our environment. Zanu PF is rigging these elections and CCC is participating in these flawed elections to give Zanu PF legitimacy in return for a few gravy train seats. MDC/CCC sold out by failing to implement reforms participating in these flawed elections with no reforms is foolish. You can call it shallow thinking, that would not change the reality on the ground.
