Nurses at Gweru Provincial Hospital broke into song and dance in honour of the First Lady, Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa, expressing heartfelt gratitude for her generous donation of medical supplies that will enhance patient care and hospital service delivery.
The hospital is a government institution one of the many across the land that are in a deplorable condition after decades of neglect and being starved of funds. Where is she and her husband getting all these millions of dollars to be making very generous donations every week when the government has no money to pay teachers and nurses a decent wage or buy books and medicine.
As soon as Mnangagwa got into power in 2017 he started creating parallel Zanu PF structures designed to make the old structures redundant and thus remodelled the party in his own image. He did the same thing state institutions. All key people in formal government structures are hollowed out dolls or wolves in sheep's clothing, the civil servants who can afford US$2 million weddings. Mnangagwa has access to billions of dollars much more that formal government has through taxation. Corruption during Mugabe's days was bad but since Mnangagwa took over it has gone into over drive!
The purpose of government is to take care of the commonwealth and the people's sacred duty is to hold all those in public office to democratic account. In Zimbabwe Mnangagwa has perfected the art of rigging elections usurping the people's power to hold public officials to account.
By hollowing out the power of formal government Mnangagwa has seen to it that the people are denied even the most basic services making them totally dependent on his generosity.
Zimbabwe is now a captive nation in every sense; the tail is wagging the dog! And boy is the dog in trouble!

When Mnangagwa took over from the late dictator Mugabe after the 2017 military coup he created parallel Zanu PF structures to remodel the party to his own image. The state was subservient to the party during Mugabe now because the slave to the party. Mnangagwa has perfected the art of rigging the elections giving him total control of everything.
Mnangagwa has become so arrogant and ruthless he is denying the people those basic service from formal government only to provide a substandard service as a favour from his shadowy regime for which he gets all the credit.
Those in public office should be accountable to the people. In Zimbabwe the people are at the mercy of Mnangagwa, he has denied them all political power and is keeping them poor and subservient to him alone. The tail is wagging the dog in the most cynical and sinister way one can imagine!

2 m plus Zimbabweans participated in the 2023 flawed elections because they believed Chamisa's idiotic that he "plugged all vote rigging loop holes. #Godisinit!" Ask yourself, how many of then have had the common sense to ask him what happened since Zanu PF blatantly rigged those elections - the very thing he said would not happen?
Giving the vote to people who are easily conned with idiotic lies or a piece of chicken has been a curse for Zimbabwe. Admit it or not, universal suffrage has been a curse for us!

For the record, I have condemned MDC/CCC leaders for selling out by failing to implement even one reform in 25 years and conning the nation to participate in flawed elections. I am on record calling Chamisa a liar and conman and for dismissing MDC/CCC supporters for their personality cult mentality. He staged the 2017 coup because he and others feared they were going to loss their gravy train seats, the coup was to secure their seat. This is why they called it Operation Restore Legacy! The gravy train seats are once again under threat and Chiwenga is hoping he can con Zimbabweans into supporting him again as happened in 2017. The right to vote comes with it the duty of care to others. Those who were foolish enough to support the 2017 coup to give it legitimacy landed the whole nation into this mess. All they did was swap one dictator for another when what the nation wanted was end the dictatorship and replace it with a democracy.

The starting point has to be the acceptance of the reality that swapping one dictator for another is not the solution. We live in a country in which millions want quick solution even when there is no quick fix and, worst of all, being tempted to go for the quick fix means lost opportunity to pursue the real solution.
The only solution for us is to demand the implementation of the democratic reforms as plan A. If that fails ensure Zanu PF is denied legitimacy and thus forced to go into a GNU so reforms can be implemented, that is plan B.
Although Mnangagwa has repeatedly stated he has no interest in extending his term beyond 2028, his loyalists are reportedly pushing for a two-year extension to preempt the rise of his deputy, Constantino Chiwenga, widely seen as a front-runner for succession.
Controversial figures such as Temba Mliswa have suggested businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei, who recently bought 300 cars for central committee members, is Mnangagwa's preferred successor, though Tagwirei has denied any presidential ambitions. Meanwhile, speculation surrounds Zanu-PF spokesperson Christopher Mutsvangwa, who is also rumoured to harbour presidential aspirations.
In Blessed Geza dismissed the so called ED2030 agenda as bulls**t it really struck an accord with millions of Zimbabweans because he said something they knew but did not dare say out loud!
Mnangagwa can deny that he has no ambitions to stay beyond 2028 every hour 24/7, no one will believe him. The party has repeatedly said that party conferences and NOT about succession and yet the number one resolution of last year’s conference was about ED2030. What it’s that - a fcuking accident!
Geza’s outburst did thrown the spanner in the works and for the last nine months Mnangagwa and his cronies have gone to great expense to buy the blind loyalty of war veterans, army, party officials, etc. All those the regime did not trust to support the ED2030 agenda have been sidelined and fired. Mnangagwa & co. were hoping that this year’s conference will rubber stamp ED2030 (the party still insists no succession issues will be on the agenda).
Of course, the resurfacing of Bombshell Geza to remind all that ED2030 is STILL bulls**t just before the conference is the last time the Mnangagwa camp wanted! Guess what? ED2030 IS BULLS**T!!
Zanu PF is a party of ruthless thugs with no regard for rule of law. Indeed their favourite modus operandi is to made a big song and dance about a rule like conferences are not about succession to put their opponents off guard and yet disregard the rule.
How many time has Zanu PF insisted elections will be free, fair and credible only to blatant rig the elections!!!! With ED2030 Mnangagwa will con the Chiwenga faction and the people of Zimbabwe too. Watch out!
