Zimbabwe doctors call for increased funding for health - forgive them they have just landed from Mars!

The Zimbabwe Association of Doctors for Human Rights (ZADHR) has called on the Mugabe government to increase the funding of the health sector. Forgive them, they have just landed from Mars!

I know that the ZADHR mean well, still one cannot be help but notice just how naïve they are. Zimbabwe is broke after Mugabe sucked all the life out of the economy to finance this vote rigging operation. It is not the matter of this regime allocating more money towards health or any other area, how can they allocate something they do not have.

What is at issue here is getting a competent government able to put the national economy back on track so we can generate the wealth to pay for a decent health service, education, etc. And the search for that competent government starts and finishes with free, fair and credible elections! Mugabe rigged the July 2013 elections just as he rigged all the other elections in the past.

The country is in this economic mess where the health system has completely collapse because the years of gross mismanagement and rampant corruption by this Mugabe regime. The nation has not being able to remove the regime because Mugabe rigs the elections. You would think that anyone with University degree, in any subject left alone medicine would have no problem comprehending the root causes of our economic mess and the solution. Clearly none of these ZADHR members have done so even after 33 years of this corrupt and oppressive Zanu PF rule.

No wonder Zimbabwe is in a mess; if doctors have the IQ of a village idiot then there really must be plenty of village idiots out there. Sadly there are indeed some first class idiots in Zimbabwe otherwise the nation would not have made all these monumental blunders that landed us in this hell-hole!

500 killed in the CAR in the chaos sweeping that country.

Here is another Rwanda massacre in the making; if those who commit such crimes are not pushed by the ICC, which is the only Court with the clout t do so, then what else is there o stop more killings? African leaders are as short-sighted as a blind-mole. Yesterday they were all rallying behind Uhuru Kenyatta so he does not face the ICC and answer the charges against him relating to the wanton violence after the 2007 elections. Now they must realise that Arica needs the ICC; that is if they had an eyes!

@ Chimbwido

I do not know of any blacks who help the whites oppress their fellow blacks and therefore themselves but I do know that since independence Mugabe and Zanu PF have denied the ordinary Zimbabweans their basic rights and freedoms for the sole purpose of staying in power. I do know that Mugabe has bankrupted the nation in the last five years to finance the vote rigging of the July elections! You can witter all you like but those facts not going away.

I also know that Mugabe is not going to get away with the vote rigging - not this time. It is now six months since the rigged elections and the issue is still on the national and world agenda!

For 33 years people have sort to appease Mugabe; he asked for an inch they allowed him to have it for the sake of peace and he took ten inches. He returned a few years latter and took one mile. Was back again and took ten miles!

Zimbabweans had a life expectancy of 68 years in 1980 and now it has dropped to 34 years a reflections of just how far the national economy has fallen. The tyrant has yet to hold free and fair elections and has murdered over 30 000 in his 33 years in power for his selfish political gain.

Enough is enough! If Mugabe thought he will just rig the elections and get away with it as usual; he will soon learn that it is a new ball-game!

Mandela mocks Mugabe's motorcade; "We do not like noise in the street," was Mandela's answer to why he did not a similar thing. Mugabe's love for pomp and ceremony knew no boundary and little wonder he is ridiculed.

@ Rafique

The Herald and ZBC has been singing Mugabe and Zanu PF propaganda to the point of calling black white and therefore unbelievable! You can convince a blind man there is no maize in his rice but not so with salt and pepper!

Mugabe and his Zanu PF idiots lost all credibility by talking of all this black empowerment nonsense when the masses, at the coal face, know they lot are considerably worse off now than before independence! The tyrant is now saying he did not rig the elections when the very people he claims voted for him are those he so arrogantly denied the vote!

“There are too many of us who happily embrace Madiba’s legacy of racial reconciliation, but passionately resist even modest reforms that would challenge chronic poverty and growing inequality,” President Obama said.

“There are too many leaders who claim solidarity with Madiba’s struggle for freedom but do not tolerate dissent from their own people,” he said

Yes! We in Zimbabwe have waited now for over 33 years for the first free, fair and credible election to be held! 33 years!
