Former Finance Minister,
Tendai Biti has described the 31 July 2013 elections as a monumental rigging
scandal. Former Prime Minister Morgan Tsvanmgirai describe the election as a “huge
farce”.
Yes there is all
the evidence of a "monumental rigging scandal"! We have all seen this
coming for the last three or four years, of course. What is important now is
what it all says about the idiots who allowed this to happen during their
watch?
MDC had all the time in the world,
five years, to ensure the reforms necessary for free and fair elections were
implemented and yet failed to get even one reform implemented. Instead of
feeling sorry for themselves these idiots should be apologizing to the nation
for letting us all down!

MDC is toying with holding street demonstration in response to the rigged July 31 elections.
"Demonstrations and mass action are options," party spokesman Douglas Mwonzora said.
Mr Mwonzora if the street demo is in protest against Tsvangirai and MDC’s breath-taking incom-petence of the last five years; then I would happily join in the match – even if there was teargas, beating or murder at the hands of the Riot Police! The nation is in this mess because of MDC's failure to implement the reforms.
We all knew Mugabe would rig the elections given half a chance, MDC gave the tyrant all the opportunities that even Mugabe must have been surprised anyone would!
The one of the good things to come out of this election is that the nation will finally have a break from all the nonsense that has come out of “motor-mouth” Mwonzora! I have never heard so much nonsense come out of one mouth!
What is “shocking and staggering” here is that you, Charlton Hwende, (MDC-T candidate for Chegutu West who has just lost to a Zanu PF candidate) are shocked by the Zanu PF rigging. Last week, when there were reports of mass intimidation of voters in Chegutu West, you refused to take the problem seriously because you thought you would still win regardless! You were wittering about the "the resilience" of the people!
I am glad that no one was beaten or murder this year - so far anywhere. As for you been cheat-ed, no one deserved that more than you, Charlton Hwende!

We all make mistakes but only great man and woman learn from their mistakes and those of others. Idiots will sweep their mistakes under the carpet, pretend nothing went wrong or worse still find a scapegoat! I wish I could say many Zimbabweans are great like you. We both know that many are on the other extreme, they are busy blaming everyone else for this election folly but those who made the f**** up - ourselves!

Well the puppet was not smart enough to remote the tyrant but that does not mean the tyrant is a better leader!
Mugabe did not have anyone beaten, rape or murdered this time; that is something everyone is grateful about. If he could not rig the election, no doubt he would have beaten, raped and murdered many innocent Zimbabweans.
There are those who think we should be grateful for the little mercies - no violence. Well the people of Zimbabwe are going to pay dearly for this because the mismanagement, corruption and looting that are the hallmarks of this Zanu PF dictatorship are set to continue. In other words the economic hopelessness and despair will continue!
Zimbabwe was spared the election violence but at the price of having the same corrupt and wasteful regime! There is nothing to be grateful about here!
The fight for democratic reforms and good governance will have to start all over again. We had many good chances of achieving democratic change these last five years but Tsvangirai and his MDC friends wasted them. Well the incompetent Tsvangirai can now go back to herding goats and we have to start the fight all over!

You talk as if Mugabe won a clean fight! Mugabe rigged this election! Yes Tsvangirai should have known that Mugabe was a cheat and done something about it. We all know Tsvangirai is incompetent and a blundering idiot but be that as it is that does not mean it is ok for Mugabe to cheat and rig elections.
It is not just Tsvangirai and his MDC friends who are the victims of this rigged election; the whole nation is going to pay dearly for this. Another five years of gross mismanagement, corruption and looting and having to put up with idiots like you Chimbwido wittering all this nonsense of "pirate radio station" is death by a thousand cuts!

If MDC think the people are going to demand that they be allowed back on the gravy train, then they have another thing coming! MDC failed to implement the reforms and thus landed the nation in this mess. What would the people hope to achieve by getting the same idiots back into power?
I can understand people protesting the rigged elections but only on the clear understanding that MDC allowed the rigging to take place. In other words the people should dismiss MDC first for allowing Mugabe to rig and then face Mugabe for rigging!
