When you are not clever say nothing and let
people think you a fool rather than open your mouth and prove them right! Being
the First Lady for all these years Grace Mugabe could not always be on her
guard and never say anything, so she said very little but enough to make people
think her a half-shilling. But ever since she stepped into the full political
spotlight by winning the Zanu PF Women’s League chairperson position she has been
like a hyper active dog with its leash finally removed. The whole world now
knows that she is a half-shilling all ‘give her the benefit of the doubt’ is
gone!
Grace was scathing in her latest attack of one
Zanu PF members who has dared put his name in the hat for one of the two Vice
President positions.
“Uri murwere apo urikuisa zita rako forward.
Unoita kunge dhongi. Pfungwa dzako hadzina kukwana. Tanga wazviongorora.
Uchakambaira uchienda ikoko?” (You are sick and yet you put your name forward.
You are like a donkey. You are not a full shilling. Are you going to crawl to
get there?) She demanded to know.
There are five candidates vying for the VP
position from the former PF Zapu camp alone. She did not say who she was
speaking about.
Here is someone whose husband is not a spring
chicken by any account, has been President for 34 years already, is as sick as
a parrot – we all know since he has been going in and out of the country to
Singapore like a yoyo, as much as eight times in one year, at princely sum of
$3 million each trip. That has not stopped Mugabe putting his name in the hat
again and she has never said anything! Or is this her telling him now in her
own not so subtle way?
Grace Mugabe has grabbed as many as fifteen
farms for herself; her son with her first husband, Russell; her brother the
former Zimbabwe Ambassador to Canada; her daughter Bona (she was named in the
latest farm seizure in Goromonzo); etc. She was boosting of how she seizure the
Mazoe farm where she built the orphanage and that she will spill blood if
anyone tried to take it away.
62% of the people are poor and 16% or 2
million now live in abject poverty because of the decades of corruption and
all-out looting spree by this Zanu PF regime and Grace even boost of leading
these marauding thugs from front. She uses a fraction of the looted wealth to
build an orphanage to cater for but a tiny fraction of the impoverished
populous and she expects the nation to be speechless and forever grateful!
Now that Grace has grabbed the position of
chairperson of Zanu PF Women’s League before she has been confirmed into that
position she already has her sight on being one of the Vice President with the
view of being the de facto president whether RG Mugabe or the party wants it or
not!
If
the electorate think a particular candidate is not suitable for whatever
reasons be it age, health, shameless greed, incompetence, whatever; they will
simply not vote for him or her. Why do she and Zanu PF not trust the electorate
to make this decision in a free, fair and credible election?

Turning to the issue of cabinet ministers who were fanning factionalism in Masvingo, Grace said she would soon convince her husband not to retain some cabinet ministers who were causing trouble in the party, yet they were uneducated.
“We are going to make you jobless and this means you will no longer be able to get money to buy support,” she said, in apparent reference to Energy Minister Dzikamai Mavhaire and Provincial Affairs Minister Kudakwashe Bhasikiti.
“Do you think we do not have young people who can take over your positions, after all if we look and your backgrounds you not educated,” said the first lady. “You do not have a single degree and even a diploma so you have to know that your days are numbered,” she added.
Mavhaire and Bhasikiti are believed to be loyal to vice president Joice Mujuru.
The dog-eat-dog has started in earnest what is worrying here is that it is not a fair fight. Mugabe has placed a gag on everyone else, no one is allowed to go to the press to put the record right on defend yourself. Provincial meeting are banned too. Grace and those she has favoured and let lose to do as the please. This is like having all the other in one village tied on the leash at their homes and then have one pack visit one homestead at a time "educating" them on dog etiquette!
Poor Mavhaire; there is no good time to be unemployed but I cannot think of a worse time that when un-employment in the country is 90% plus and 16% or 2 million people are living in abject poverty! Before you ask; yes they will be coming after you to pay back all the money you have borrowed from the bank and never paid. Everyone has never been asked to pay back the money that is true but you are no longer one of chosen ones - you are in the enemy camp now!
All these years you have been in power you have never fought to end this Zanu PF juggernaut to create a just system. No the juggernaut you help create is turning on you and you have nowhere to run, no place to hid and no one to ask for help.
The purge has started and once started it must run its full course; that means almost half the Zanu PF members in the party, civil service, security sector, parastatals, everywhere; will have their loyalty questioned and many will be beaten and thrown into the abyss, "muchakasara" as one would say in Shona.
Grace is going after Mai Mujuru and all her supporters what is clear is this is not a fair fight but a dirty one. R G Mugabe has issued instructions stopping everyone in the party using the media, holding rally and stopping all provincial meetings. Grace Mugabe was exempt from all the bans and allowed to hold her meet-the-people rallies which are in practice campaign rallies to sell herself as a VP candidate but can also attack and belittle all those standing in her way and they are not given a chance to defend themselves in any way.
It is hard to have any sympathy for Mai Mujuru and all her supporters for all the rough treating they are now receiving from Grace and her supporters because Mai Mujuru have saw the same been done to the opposition for years and never lifted a finger. So now she is getting a taste of her own medicine and saves her and her supporters right!
The purge has only started and God knows where and when it will end, all we can all be sure of it that Mai Mujuru's Zanu PF faction are in trouble!
But deputy foreign affairs minister Chris Mutsvangwa was categorical on what Mujuru should now do, if she had any honour left.
“Honour seems to be an attribute alien to this affected and simple-minded personality,” Mutsvangwa told the Herald newspaper.
“Any other politician with an iota of decency and integrity would have smelled the coffee and do the only right thing, which is to resign.
“She has shredded her war veteran credentials to shards as she has distanced herself from her war-time peers while seeking adulation from new found cheerleaders donated by those who want to abuse her. This is hubris at work indeed.”
One is tempted to say to the First Lady Grace Mugabe, deputy Minister Mutsvanga and all those baying for Mai Mujuru’s blood; “Let he in Zanu PF who has not benefited from corruption and looting throw the first stone!” Sadly, unlike in the Biblical story of the woman who had committed adultery, Mai Mujuru’s accusers are not going to melt away. They are queuing to throw the first stone and want to be seen to solidly behind the stone just to demonstrate their loyalty to the Grace or else the accusing finger will be pointing at them next.
Of course Mai Mujuru is corrupt. She is not a ballerina and does not have any talent in anything to have earned her the fortune valued in billions of dollars. Grace tells us Mai Mujuru earned her fortune from “demanding 10 percent shareholding in companies”, “illicit diamond deals”, etc.
“So you cannot say you are not corrupt,” concluded Grace Mugabe.
Mugabe and Zanu PF have vehemently denied there corruption in Zimbabwe and insisted the poor economic performance was due to the “illegal sanctions imposed by the evil white imperialists led by the British and Americans”. This has allowed corruption to grow and spread and today it is the one destroying the national economy.
Robert Mugabe is not revealing details of Mai Mujuru’s corrupt past not because he is finally going to do something to end this national scourge. He is doing this to force Mai Mujuru to step down so his wife can takeover.
Mai Mujuru had a number of supporters in the party and they need to be purged out of the party and all those who remain need to pledge their loyalty to the new kid on the block, Grace Mugabe. Deputy Minister Mutsvangwa is only too keen to earn himself a few brownie points by leading those stoning Mai Mujuru.
Mai Mujuru is one of those who have helped build Zanu PF into the corrupt and ruthlessly oppressive and tyrannical regime it is today. She has greatly benefited from the corrup-tion, she is a billionaire; she has remained in office all these years because the party was able to rig elections. Now the Zanu PF juggernaut she helped create in turning on her; she is having a taste of the terror and injustice the regime has dished out with cold indifference to all these last 34 years. The purge is only starting; it will get a lot uglier before the political cleansing is complete. Bon appetit!

One should always be careful known thugs and murders are the ones leading the crusade to end corruption and murder by conducting public lynching where the victims are denied the chance to defend themselves or say what happened. The chances are this is just one gang settling old scores so that they become the dominant gang.

Indeed he encourage all the others to take part so that he can use the information to black mail them all. Many of Mai Mujuru's supporters who took know they are not innocent have already gone into hiding or are grovelling at Mugabe's feet begging for forgiveness!
We are each damned for our sins regardless how many others committed the same sins with us! Mugabe himself is the greatest dealer and beneficiary in illicit diamonds but that is irrelevant to Mai Mujuru's case! Has she been dealing in diamonds? YES! There is all there is to say, she stand condemned and charged!

What you should not forget her is that she IS corrupt; where do you think she got all that money from? She will be told step down and shut your trap and you will be spare nights in the congenial Chikurumbi Prison and she will step down and super glue her trap. You are unbelievably naive; Zanu PF is collapsing because the system was unsustainable from the start. Mugabe had kept the party together by bribing all the members with positions, allowing they to be corrupt and to loot. There are no cushy jobs and abject poverty is everywhere; Zanu PF is falling apart because Mugabe has nothing to bribe the various members with.
What Mugabe is doing is load shedding; Zanu PF style. The purge will force at least a third of the bloated civil service, Army, Parastals, etc. to go and thus giving him some more room to manoeuvre. Many, if not all, of those so unceremonious “dumped”, as Grace Mugabe has already told Mai Mujuru, Minister Dzikamai Mavhaire and many others, will languish in abject poverty glad they were not thrown in jail for their corruption and greed in the past.
Mugabe allowed Morgan Tsvangirai and his MDC village idiots to be as corrupt as they pleased during the GNU years as long as they did nothing about implementing the democratic reforms. Come 31 July 2013 there was massive MDC load shedding as we know! Mugabe needed another load shedding and Mai Mu-juru and her faction have the short straw!
Those who supper with the devil need a long spoon; Mai Mujuru must have thought after 34 years she has part of the family and BANG! BANG! She is finished and she knows it!
"The formation of the MDC was done in your house, Mavambo was formed in your house, now factionalism is being led by the same person," Grace said.
Although she did not mention any names, it was clear that she was referring to Vice-President Joice Mujuru whose husband Solomon was closely linked with the formation of Mavambo in 2008.
This is the point of no return; Mai Mujuru is not going to recover from this.

Well that explains a lot! We have all seen Mugabe sleeping at the UN and other public forums. If he is not ranting and raving about the “the illegal sanctions imposed by evil imperialists” then he is fast asleep. No one can deny that having one half of his party pitted against the other half is not a nightmare. As if that is not bad enough the tyrant has the empty ZimAsset begging bowl mocking him, a grim remind that he has failed to rig economic recovery and the economy is sinking into the abyss fast and it will take him down with it.
Whichever Zanu PF faction emerges out of this dog-eat-dog fight, it will never have any time to celebrate its victory and lick its wounds because the consequences of the eco-nomic meltdown will overwhelm it!
The real assassin here is the rampant corruption behind the economic meltdown and iron of irons it was Mugabe himself who was created the problem through his political patron-age system and by denying there was corruption he allowed this cancer to grow and spread. Now the cancerous tumours are everywhere and his is the Medusa Head from which they all grow.
It is pointless cutting off the individual tumour because, as in the classic tale, ten more will grow in its place. The only way out is to cut-off the Medusa Head; Mugabe and Zanu PF must go. There will be regime change; Mugabe’s worse nightmare will final come to pass!

It looks like R G Mugabe has outwitted his fellow Zanu PF members once again by getting them to fight each other and then impose himself/his wife as the top dog at the end of the day. But trust me, he will not be able to do the same with the economy.
I hope that the cheated Mujuru supporters will not be foolish enough to use guns to fight back because Mugabe's victory will be a hollow one and will not last. As long as Mugabe and Zanu PF remain in office the economy will continue to sink! Why fight Mugabe when the economy is fighting him and the tyrant is losing?

The economic meltdown is like a python with its coils round the regime and the squeezing has started. This regime is going nowhere. Anyone who assassinates R G Mugabe or his wife will only be delivering a blow to one already dead - Mucheka dzafa. There is a real danger that an assassination will start a war that the nation could have easily avoided. The assassin will not be a hero but a cowardly idiot who deserves to be lynched.
Let Mugabe "finish his job"? This is what happens when you give village idiots a platform! The tyrant has brought the national economy into ruins, unemployment is Mount Everest high at 90% plus, 62% of the people are poor and 16% or 2 million are living in abject poverty and in his 34 years in power he has murdered over 30 000. When Mugabe decided to make Zanu PF a one-party state opening the door for himself to sit on top as the dictator he closed all the doors to meaningful debate and competition. It is no surprise that successive Zanu PF ads have been dogged with incompetent, corrupt and totally ineffective leadership. A regime is wasteful of human and material resources and there is a limit to how much any nation can take; the Zimbabwe economy has had it. It is the economic meltdown that has weakened Zanu PF, starving it of the cushy jobs, corruption deals and looting opportunities that Mugabe had used so far to keep party members happy. The infighting was no more than the opportunistic flue that kills an HIV/AIDS patient!

Mugabe has outwitted the Mujuru faction and the Mnangagwa faction into adopting his wife as their can-didate. Grace will be nominated one of VPs next month when nominations are re-opened; that is a done deal. VP Grace will start acting President immediately whilst R G Mugabe is allowed to sleep.
What R G Mugabe or Grace, when she assumes power, has failed to rig is the economic recovery.
Bamboozling MDC into doing nothing about the reforms which would have given us "laptop critics" and the millions of ordinary Zimbabweans, whom you and Mugabe have nothing but contempt, a meaningful say was easy. Rigging economic recovery is impossible even for the wary cunning fox Mugabe!
