Zimbabwe is the Garden of Eden, we are starving in the Garden of Eden - greatest testimonial to human incompetency!

Zimbabwe qualifies to be called the Garden of Eden; it was rich soils and the ideal weather condition to grow crops and farm animals. The fact that the country has now been turned from the breadbasket of the region to one where millions are facing starvation is proof of just how corrupt and incompetent Mugabe and his Zanu PF thugs are.

Mugabe and his immediate family own no few than 13 commercial farms and the rest of the Zanu PF ruling elite are not far behind. Other than Mugabe and his family's farms which kept up production but only because they receive massive direct and indirect subsidies most commercial farms have fallen into disuse. The days of large fields of tobacco or maize during the rainy season and wheat during the cold months are long gone.

It was no accident that Zimbabwe's economic meltdown started hot on the heels of the farm seizures; Zimbabwe's agriculture formed the backbone of the national economy. When the agricultural sector collapsed the national economy collapsed too.

Mugabe and his cronies destroyed the economy by seize the white own farms and sharing them out amongst themselves; blaming the economic collapse on sanctions is a total nonsense.

We live in the day and age where technology has allowed people, clever people, to turn deserts into blooming fields. We live in the nearest thing to the Garden of Eden where we require the bare minimum of effort to have a bumper harvest and yet we are starving. If anything has captivated the very essence of Mugabe and his cronies' breath-taking incompetence it has to be how their have turned Zimbabwe from a breadbasket of the region into a nation of beggars, ever begging for food!

Where other people have made the desert bloom, a great testimonial in human ingenuity; here in Zimbabwe we are starving in the Garden of Eden, the greatest testimonial in human incompetency!

That is a distinct possibility, still they should know that their actions are not helping us in that our people too will believe the corrupt and incompetent leaders is the best they will ever get. Re-member the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

If Zimbabweans fail to produce competent leaders then it is our fault the last thing we want is someone outside to cheer and applaud us along down the road to hell!

Cream rises from rich wholesome milk just as scum rises from sewage; Zimbabwe's corrupt and incompetent leaders are what one would expect from a naive and gullible electorate. So yes we are starving in the Garden of Eden because we have incompetent leaders but also because we have an equally incompetent electorate.

Didymus Mutasa said his 80th birthday had been “just like any other ordinary day, characterised by power cuts and water woes and dreams of a brighter day”.

“There was nothing for me to celebrate when the people of Zimbabwe are suffering. I could not do that as it would be unfair and against what I stand for,” he said.
Well the economic meltdown and the purge from Zanu PF has taken its toll; who would have ever thought that the high flying Zanu PF warlord, Didymus Mutasa, will ever eat humble pie. After 34 years in power he is today enjoying the “power cuts and water woes” he helped to bring about.

Didymus Mutasa did not celebrate his 80th birthday as he had done during his Zanu PF Godfather days because he cannot afford to such extravagancies now that he has been kicked out of the party and life of abject poverty is beckoning.

Simon Khaya Moyo Economic Planning minister has conceded that Zanu-PF's much-touted anti-dote to the economic collapse the Zimbabwe Agenda for Sustainable Socio-Economic Transfor-mation (ZimAsset) has missed most of its targets.

Speaking at the Small and Medium Enterprises and Co-operative Investment Expo in Harare on Tuesday, Khaya Moyo said economic growth targets had fallen short since the launch of ZimAs-set in 2013.
“It is the economy, stupid!” as former US President Bill Clinton once said, that matter.

After two years of lying about economic recovery and pretending ZimAsset was working when in fact it had suffered stillbirth because no donor was prepared to waste good money bankrolling the hare-brain scheme. Zanu PF officials are now being forced to admit that the economy is in total meltdown and they do not have the guts to admit they have failed but being forced to do so regardless.

The only way to end the economic meltdown is for Zanu PF to accept they failed and to accept regime change; even if the party tries to resist the acceptance of both the situation will force them to!
