Mugabe says security chiefs are still in liberation struggle mode and to be treated with "sensitivity"!

Mugabe told SADC summit Zimbabwe’s security chiefs are still in liberation struggle mode and so must be treated with “sensitivity”.

“These are people who were with us during the liberation struggle and they have not disconnected themselves from the liberation struggle to today. As far as they are concerned they are still in the mould of the liberation struggle and we know we have to treat them with sensitivity but l agree there is a problem,’ Minister Misihairabwi-Mushonga told a public meeting quoting Mugabe.

Mr. Mugabe the security chiefs are an integral part of the cabal of the Zanu PF dictatorship which has established the de facto one-party dictatorship to retain political power at all cost. The security chiefs have played their murderous part in the establishment of the dictatorship just as much as they have received their fair share of the spoils of this absolute power in the form of corrupt deals and looted white farms and Marange diamonds.

The decision to establish a one-party dictatorship was made a long time ago; even before independence. It was then that the security chiefs and the rest of the Zanu PF cabal, Julius Caesar in 49BC, crossed Rubicon River; the point of no return.  From that point on the cabal did not care about the liberation struggle but making sure Zanu PF retained political power at all cost – including crashing the people’s dreams of independence, freedom and liberty.

Surely Mr. Mugabe you do not expect the nation to treat this corrupt and oppressive cabal with any “sensitivity”. Sensitivity for having denied us hope, human dignity and even the right to life itself? The arrogance of tyrant like Mugabe is insufferable!

What war have these morons been fighting these last 33 years, you idiot? The "war" to deny Zimbabweans their vote and all the looting?

The Zanu PF dictatorship bamboozled Tsvangirai and MDC but it did not fool everyone. Zanu PF is NOT going to get away with another meaningless election process. Mugabe gave SADC the middle finger forgetting that it was SADC who bailed him out after the sham 2008 elections. This election is NOT free and fair; that is clear already. All everyone is doing now is collecting even more evidence of that. SADC will not be there to bail Mugabe out this time.

Give a fool enough rope and he will hang himself with it. Mugabe and Zanu PF are busy hanging themselves.

A 10-member African Union (AU) pre-observer team has arrived in Zimbabwe to assess the prevailing situation as the country braces for watershed elections soon.

This is great! The first thing the observers will note immediately is that there is no independent free media in Zimbabwe. In this day and age, a country of 14 million people and yet there is still one radio and TV station – all controlled by Zanu PF of course. Now for the gathering of all the other mountain of evidence to prove beyond all doubt that this election is NOT free and fair.

The Observer would want to keep a tag on how much Mugabe and Zanu PF spend in the elections. For a nation that is out begging for $ 120 million for the elections, they will be impressed at the billions of dollars no-expense spared campaign Mugabe will run!

After the Zanu PF’s own primary elections on Monday 24 June, the election starters’ gun would be fired. Zanu PF will roll out its vote rigging and terror machine. The Observers will be overwhelmed by the dirty tricks Mugabe and Zanu PF can do to “win” elections.

Give a fool a long rope and he will hang himself with it. I really do not see Mugabe being able to keep Jabulani Sibanda, Chipangano gangsters and all the Zanu PF thugs on the leash for long!

Zimbabwe should be holding free and fair elections if Tsvangirai had implemented the re-forms. All this looting and threat of another bloody election would be behind us. Hundreds of thousands of Zimbabweans were beaten and or raped and over 500 murdered in 2008. And now we are going to see this madness repeated.

Instead of dismantling the Zanu PF dictatorship all Tsvangirai has done these last five years is make it acceptable or as CNN’s Becky Anderson said, make it “legitimate”.

Anyone who comprehends the enormity of Tsvangirai’s blunder is bound to be angry. Of course, if you do not comprehend what has just happened, it is another matter.

In a country where over 30 000 innocent people were murdered for selfish political gain. One should not be surprise that whilst outsiders have noticed Tsvangirai’s incompetence to the people of Zimbabwe themselves, it is all water off a duck’s back. Frankly, the nation would not be in all this mess if Zimbabweans were not so laid back about everything including those affecting their very lives.

Well Mugabe, Tsvangirai and all these useless busy bodies should know that there are at least a few Zimbabweans who are awake and will hold them to account. Oh, whilst in the neigh-bourhood, all those sleepy Zimbabweans will get their backsides kicked - hard!

I agree Minister Biti has raised the issue diamond money not being paid to government a number of times but would you also agree with me that:

1) When Tsvangirai gave the diamond mining a thumbs up it gave the impression everything was ok.

2) MDC had the majority in parliament and yet it was done nothing to ensure everything was above board.

3) Mining was one of the many transparency issue that should have been included in the democratic reforms - of which not even one reform was implemented in 5 years!

To deny MDC's incompetence of the last five years is to be blind and naive. How can the world take us seriously if we are not prepared to address our problems seriously!

I expect Mugabe to rig the elections but to be subtle in everything he does this time. The fail-ure by MDC to get any meaningful reforms implemented means Mugabe has many opportu-nities to rig. He has a head start already in that the voters' roll is in a mess, he has buckets of diamond cash and he has total control of the media!

Still, I agree that there is still plenty of scope to give Mugabe a run for his money by as many people as possible going out to vote! They can spoil the vote but they must still go out and spoil the vote!
