There is nothing more sickening than someone with no sense of
right and wrong quoting the Bible and pretending that they are divinely
inspired when they are not!
“As I was praying yesterday, I was reminded of
the story of the sons of Issachar who knew the times and what ought to be done
for Israel,” wrote “saint” Nelson Chamisa.
Are we to concluded that the Lord God of Abraham and Isaac
failed to inspire this latter-day son of Issachar with “what ought to be done
for” Zimbabwe throughout the five years of the GNU. God only knows how many
times mortals like SADC Heads reminded Chamisa and his fellow MDC leaders to
implement the democratic reforms for that was what Zimbabwe needed then and
still need today to stop Mugabe and Zanu PF rigging elections. Zimbabwe is
literally dying to have its first free, fair and credible elections after all
these years after independence.
“We failed to secure critical reforms before participating in
the elections. The whole world advised us not to get into the elections without
reforms, and so in everything that we have been saying we have failed to
acknowledge that we also made a mistake,” admitted Chamisa’s former MDC
collegue, MP Samuel Sipepa Nkomo.
At least people like Sipepa Nkomo has had the guts to admit
that MDC made some serious mistake which more than can be said about the likes
of Nelson Chamisa.
MDC failed to implement even one democratic reform out of the
whole raft of reforms agreed in the Global Political Agreement (GPA). Not even
one! Why? Because the MDC leaders are corrupt, Mugabe bribed them with the
trappings of power including the $4 million Highlands mansion for their leader
Tsvangirai and they forgot about the reforms. The MDC leaders failed to comprehend
the critical importance of the reforms in delivering free, fair and credible
elections, the pre-requisite of good governance; and thus showing they are
breathtakingly incompetent.
So Nelson Chamisa did not listen to SADC Heads advising him
and his fellow MDC leaders to implement the reforms throughout the five years
of the GNU. He, like the other MDC leaders, had his snout in the feeding trough
enjoying the endless feast Mugabe providing them – at taxpayers’ great expense,
of course. For a year after the rigged elections he has never had the humility
to admit he betrayed the nation by failing to implement even one reform. It
took a rigged MDC-T party election to send him scooting for the Bible for
divine inspiration!
“Oh God, you are wonderful!! Let the revelation of your word
be our great source of hope and glory. I am waiting upon your faithful word and
righteous promise,” prayed ‘saint’ Nelson. “It is well my brethren.”
Well gone are the days when you used to share ‘quality’ time
with ‘pastor’ R G Mugabe, he would have help you here. We all know what you
want Nelson – another chance back on the gravy train!

Itai Dzamara who has been leading the “Occupy Africa Unity Square” protests for several weeks now was on Thursday admitted to a Harare hospital alongside human rights lawyer Kennedy Masiye after both sustained serious injuries from brutal assaults by more than 20 police officers.
Zanu PF will never intimidate and beat the economic meltdown until is unconscious as they did to Itai. The regime cannot bribe and bamboozle the economic meltdown as it did with Tsvangirai and MDC. At the end of the day the regime will have to bow to the reality that it cannot rig economic recovery and step down to allow for free, fair and credible elections.
Itai and others in Africa Unity Square demo are the messengers reminding the regime of the reality of the economic meltdown. Beating up the messenger will not change the message; the economic meltdown will only get worse as long as Zanu PF remains in office!

This is tragic and the irony is Mugabe and his goons still think they liberated the nation! This is the tragedy of our country we have freedom fighters who did not have a clue what freedom means and leaders elected on a ticket to deliver democratic change but did not have clue what these democratic changes were! Sadly the people themselves do not have a clue either. The blind leading the blind into the ditch.
No wonder the country is in a mess but worse still what hope is there is ever getting out!

The Danish government says it can only start working with Zimbabwe after it has successfully shown its willingness to honour the constitution and compensate white farmers who lost their land during the land reform, as well as clarified the country's indigenisation laws.
Briefing journalists in the capital, Jensen said Zimbabwe has to prove itself a worthy candidate for re-engagement to be assisted in its rebuilding process.
"I am prepared to work with Zimbabwe in order to settle the huge debt overhang. We are also prepared to work with Zimbabwe on infrastructure development and energy production," said Jensen.
This must be the stuff of nightmares for Mugabe; just when he thought he had got the better of the EU they had thrown in the towel dropped their demand for him to hold free and fair elections and the long awaited floodgates of easy EU money would start flooding in. After all his “all-weather friends” the Chinese and Russians had only given him $7 billion – which he paid for dearly in advance sale of the country’s mineral wealth. But worst still both the Chinese and Russians offer a single dollar in budgetary support; the former had the chic of telling him they would not consider it because he was a “bad debtor” to his face!
Still things were beginning to look up with the EU taking off everyone except himself and his Grace off the sanctions list and re-engaging with his government. The British send a trading mission followed by the Dens.
The last thing Mugabe wanted to hear is the British saying they wanted clarification on Zimbabwe’s indigenisation laws. Now the Dens have added another condition – compensate all the white farmers whose farms were seized by the regime first before they will invest.
Mugabe’s biggest problem there is nothing he can do about the indigenisation law. Even if he was to scrap the offending law no one would trust him to honour that change. He has disregarded more serious laws including trade agreements with other government. If he can cross swords with a government what is there to stop him doing the same with a private individual?
When Mugabe was just beginning to think he will have some working cash for his ZimAsset project the empty begging bowl is back to haunt him!

Mujuru has known that Zanu PF is a party of thugs. Throughout all these years she had count-less chances to tame the party but she did nothing. For the good of the nation, she had the chance to end Zimbabwe’s corrupt and tyrannical political system and replace is with a democratic one; but once again she did nothing. Now the Zanu PF hunting pack, which had served her selfish political interest for decades, is now hunting her down.
Let this be a lesson to all, human rights and justice are important for us all especially those in the position of power to safe guard and guarantee these rights and justice. They must take implementing this task with the seriousness and urgency the matter demands because they may find that they need human rights and justice too but it will be too late to have them instituted.
Godwin Gomwe, Zanu PF Harare provincial youth chairperson and a Grace Mugabe supporter is fired after getting a vote of no confidence.
The very fact that the Mujuru supporters who passed this vote of no confidence bothered with the vote and thus expect it to stick shows just how naïve they are. If there is one thing Mugabe has shown consistently throughout his 34 years in power it is his contempt for the law. He is almost paranoid about the law and rule of law only when he standards to win from its application or mislead the gullible.
The vote of confidence in Gomwe is null and void because Mugabe will just ignore to and those who voted him out should consider themselves dumped from the party. The Mujuru faction is finished, they are history.

It is not surprising that idiots like you should want to hang on to the dream of your being above the law but it will be your turn next to realise that you are not above the law.
