Mugabe knows court challenge is a serious threat so he threatens the judge!

Mugabe, the tyrant he is, is now threatening any of the Judges who dare hear the case lodge by Mutasa and Gumbo last week to challenge the legality of last year’s Zanu PF party elections. The two are saying the elections failed to follow the party’s own constitution.

The Mugabe faction of the party that has seized power since the disputed elections went on to force elected provincial chairperson, for example, out of office by mob rule. There was no due process followed in their dismissal as required by the party’s own constitution and the overarching Zimbabwe constitution law.

Regai kumboita hanya neavo vanoti tinonoman’arira party…ndiani akamboti policy yeparty, yebumbiro reparty rinotibatanidza ibumbiro renyika (Ignore those who are saying they will sue the party …. who said the party constitution that binds us is the same as the country’s constitution?,” Mugabe asserted.

“We would want to see which magistrate would sit to hear that case. Then we will question their educational qualifications,” he threatened.

Zanu PF’s own constitution gives members the right to due process and the members who were forced out of their elected position with some members like Rugare Gumbo and Jabulani Sibanda fired on the spot without being told why. Not that any thinking Zimbabwean has sympathy for these individuals; they are as corrupt and tyrannical as the other Zanu PF members. Indeed that is not what is at issue here; what is at issue is that everyone has a right to due legal process regardless of whether they are worthy of such right or not.

If Mugabe is saying the Zanu PF constitution has no such provision hence his argument “who said the party constitution that binds us is the same as the country’s constitution?” That is little comfort for him because the Zimbabwe constitution grants every Zimbabwean citizen the right to due legal process as a birth right. In other words anyone or any organization within the legal jurisdiction of the Republic of Zimbabwe cannot take away this basic and fundamental right.

One does not need to be a lawyer or judge to know that the Zimbabwe constitution is the supreme law of the land! What the Zimbabwe constitution has given no one has the right, power or authority to take away; that is the law.

Mugabe is the principle respondent in this case and he should submit his arguments why the Court should throw out the case without taking it any further, if he so wish. But for him to be publically threatening any judge who even dares to hear the case is an outrage. He has not only violated the supreme law of the land, the Zimbabwe constitution, but now he has placed himself above the constitution itself by granting himself powers to dictate to those appointed in accordance to the constitution to administer the law.

There is a lot more in the Mutasa and Gumbo vs Mugabe and others legal challenge of the legality of the December 2014 Zanu PF party congress; the case will settle once and once for all whether Zimbabwe is ruled by law or the whims of a dictator!

Mai Mujuru is back to farming.

For once she will now find there unlimited source of free money has dried up. Every time she hears of thugs toy-toying in her area she will be wondering whether they are the jambanja marauders coming to occupy her farm. She has more than one farm and that was ok whilst she controlled jambanja thugs, she does not.

The other Zanu PF leaders who were kicked out of the party with her are slowly but surely being squeezed out. Kaukonde has left his farm(s); jambanja did not allow him time to harvest his last crops, they never do. Soon Mai Mujuru’s number will be up!

If doing an honest day's work does not get Mai Mujuru to lose weight after all the year of doing nothing then worrying about what will happen next will do the trick! Madam welcome to the real Zimbabwe, my world!

VOTING FOR THE SAME CORRUPT AND INCOMPETENT LEADER HOPING AGAINST HOPE THAT THIS TIME HE WILL DELIVER IS FOOLISH, IT SHOWS THESE PEOPLE WILL NEVER LEARN. WELL IT IS SIMPLE ENOUGH, AS LONG AS NOTHING IS DONE TO ADDRESS THE COUNTRY’S UNDERLYING PROBLEMS MORE AND MORE PEOPLE WILL LANGUISH ABJECT POVERTY.

THE PEOPLE ARE STUBBORN IN THEIR FOOLISHNESS BUT THEY WILL HAVE TO LEARN THAT BY REFUSING TO THINK AND TO LISTEN TO REASON AND LEARN FROM THE PAST THEY HAVE PER SE CONDEMNED THEMSELVES TO MAKING THE SAME STUPID MISTAKE OVER AND OVER. THERE IS A HEAVY PRICE TO BE PAY FOR BEING A FOOL – SUFFERING - AND ANY EVEN HEAVIER PRICE TO BE PAID FOR BEING A STUBBORN FOOL - ABJECT POVERTY.

THE PEOPLE CAN BE AS STUBBORNLY FOOLISH AS THEY WANT THEY WILL FIND ABJECT POVERTY IS A BOTTOMLESS PITY, THEY IS ALWAYS ROOM TO SINK!

@Clayton

Mankind is a creature of reason; you try something it fails, try again and again it fails then you try some-thing else that shows you are reasoning. Those MDC supporters should have spent the last one and half years asking themselves why the failed to win the last elections when they had the numbers on their side.

Tsvangirai had his best chance ever to win the elections but failed to do so. Why?

MDC supporters are not known for their ability to think and they do not listen to reason. They are lazy, period. Well there is a price to be paid for being lazy, you repeat the same mistake over and over again and pay the price over and over again. Sikhala talked of abject poverty; that is the price a nation that is too lazy to think pays for its laziness and the situation is set to get worse not better.

Zimbabwe’s political and economic problems are all of our own making. Ultimately people always get the government they deserve; no one can say we do not deserve the incompetent, corrupt and tyrannical Mu-gabe and his Zanu PF thugs on the one hand and the incompetent and corrupt Tsvangirai and his MDC idiots on the other.

Until the day we put back our thinking caps and stop following tyrants and village idiots like sheep we are not going to get out of this hell-hole we now find ourselves stuck in. A nation that will vote for a village idiot again and again and again is not just foolish but stubbornly foolish and it justly deserves to suffer!

SADC heads and donors have all deserted Tsvangirai and MDC because they are breathtakingly incompe-tent; Zimbabweans are taking their sweet time to come to the same conclusion but in the meantime the nation has to pay the price of having incompetent idiots in charge!

IMF says Zimbabwe must pay a lot more than the token $150 k per month it is paying for its $142 million debt to the institution. The regime can hardly afford to pay the token amount let alone increase it.

For Mugabe and his Zanu PF thugs, the chickens have finally come home to roost; after decades of mis-management, corruption and reckless spending the country is broke and up to its eyes in debt!

The years of misrule have destroyed the country's once upon a time vibrant economy. For IMF to ask the Zimbabwe government to pay its debt now is like asking a cock to lay eggs; he can sit in the nest a whole week, he is not going to lay no egg!

The only way Zimbabwe is going to get out of this economic mess is for the Zanu PF government to step down so that a new one with the political will to address the underlying problems of mismanagement and corruption can take over. Mugabe does not have much of a choice really; he can step down now or hang on to power whilst the situation continues to get worse until he is forced out of power.

“The 20 000 plus crowd was enough testimony — if ever there was need for one — that over the years, the Morgan Tsvangirai brand has carved a unique niche for itself in the national psyche,” said Tsvangirai’s spin doctor Luke Tamborinyoka.

“Yes, that indestructible brand has achieved its own grand coalition with the people of Zimbabwe. Only the people are the grand factor in politics.”
Look Luke, we both know that the country’s economic situation is even worse now than it was when Tsvangirai made his first appearance on the political stage in 1999. People voted for him on the promise he would deliver democratic changes necessary to end the corrupt and repressive Zanu PF dictatorship – a necessary first step to ending the tyrannical rule of Zanu PF. Tsvangirai has had many wonderful opportunities to end the Zanu PF rule with the best chance being the GNU years where Tsvangirai had to implement the agreed democratic reforms. He failed to get even one reform implemented. Not one!
The only reason “the 20 00 plus crowd” continue to follow Tsvangirai is because they have no clue what exactly these democratic changes are much less what has to be done to get them implemented. They are therefore in no position to judge Tsvangirai as the breathtakingly incompetent leader he is. Tsvangirai will never get any reforms implemented, not even if he was to live for another 100 years because he does not have a clue what the changes are himself too. Fortunately for him wildebeest herd of followers do not know that and hence the reason why they continue to follow him.
The real “that indestructible brand” worth talking about here is that on people who would vote again and again for the same village idiot hoping against hope that he will deliver democratic changes the village idiot does not know of let alone understand what needs to be done to get them implemented. Mankind is supposed to be a thinking animal but the MDC supporters brand is impermeable to rea-son; they not ignorant because reason would have cured them by now, they a foolish.

There are confirmed reports that Itai Dzamara’s body has been discovered on the Harare Goromonzi road. Dzamara was reported missing and abducted by five men on Monday.

If this is true, it would be a great national tragedy. It is always a great national tragedy when the thugs murder men and women of substance. What good will the rats that are carried out the terrible deed and left behind be to the nation!

Foreign Affairs secretary told parliament that Treasury had not provided funds to pay the country’s diplomats and their running expenses for the past 20 months from May 2013, to December 2014. Some diplomats have been forced to live in rented accommodation because their normal one was unusable because of lack of repair.

It never runs but pours in Zimbabwe. What is clear is the situation is going to get worse and not bet-ter as long as Zanu PF remains in power. What is also clear is the situation cannot continue for much longer because it is morally, economically, socially and politically unsustainable. What is not so clear is whether Mugabe and Zanu PF will peacefully accept they have failed and step down or they will hang on and finally be force out of office the Muammar Gaddafi style!

IMF is wasting its time telling Mugabe to scrap his indigenisation laws it has been his flagship policy for far too long for him to drop it now. Like the white farm invasion that inspired it both policies formulated to reward his ever demanding but wasteful cronies. They have been a total economic failure but it is not in the nature of Zanu PF to admit that and hence the party is stuck with the two policies.
