Mugabe dared the judge to judge and Chidyausiku has done just that!

Chief Justice Godfrey Chidyausiku has ruled that former presidential affairs minister Didymus Mutasa’s application challenging his recent expulsion from Parliament should be heard on an urgent basis.

Well by ruling that the case will be heard and Mutasa will have his day in Court, Chief Justice has delivered a body blow to Mugabe who was cock sure no judge would dare hear the case.

For decades Mugabe has done as he pleased getting more and more bold and more and more confident he can do anything and get away with it. It is sometimes when one is at their most bold and arrogant that they will become unstuck.

“Chidya matovo akazodzipwa nedovo remhuru!” so goes the Shona saying. (Dog who prided himself in chewing through the toughest hide, choked on the hide of a calf!)

"Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning." - Winston Churchill.

I would like to believe that by blatantly defying Mugabe Chief Justice Chidyausiku has inadvertly marked the end of the beginning of Mugabe’s tyrannical rule! Not that the Chief Justice had any choice, Mugabe presented the judge with conundrum – Mugabe appointed Chidyausiku Judge and dared him to judge. While Chidyausiku has judged and now Mugabe can question himself why he ever appointed him judge!

There are reports of violent clashes amongst Zanu PF's two main factions ahead of the upcoming by-elections to fill the recalled 16 MDC renewal seats.

Zanu PF is a party of violence, the party members who have terrorized the nation all these years whipping all those who dared to call for a justice, free society and an end to violence. Today the same members finding themselves at the business end of the whip. Whoever said justice would not be done this side of the grave!

MDC leaders are corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent; they had the chance to achieve meaningful democratic change during the GNU but had their snouts in the gravy train trough Mugabe laid down for them.

Our friend motor-mouth Obert Gutu has written volumes since the 31 July 2013 on democratic changes but has yet to say how MDC is going to achieve that! You know why? He still does not have a clue how. As far as these MDC village idiots are concerned, they do not have to deliver any democratic changes, they only have to talk about them to win the vote.

Since the recalled MDC-renewal MPs "motor-mouth" have gone into over-drive in terms of output of rhetorical nonsense. He is desperate to get back into parliament either by contesting one of the 16 MP seats or better still as one of the 6 nominated ones.

Chaurura my a***!

@ Obert Gutu

Let me guess; a care-take government like the last GNU with you taking up your old post of deputy Minister of Justice or are you looking at being a minister in your own right. And what exactly will this government do or you have not thought about that one; after all all you really care about is for you to be back on the gravy train.

There is not going to be another GNU and you can dream of being back on the gravy train all you like, it will never happen. You have already proven beyond all doubt that you are corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent it will be folly to entrust you with any public office. I am here to ensure the nation is warned never to make that mistake again!

@ Patrick

These individuals have already proven to the nation that they are not men and women of principles, they would sell the people for a piece of calico cloth and a handful of beads just as there forerunners did during the slave trade.

The challenge is for the electorate to see them for the sell-out they are and never ever vote for them!

Patrick Mai Mujuru is caught between a rock and a hard place same as Tsvangirai and his MDC friend; she knows that the present political system in which the electorate are deliberately kept ignorant and ruled by fear will suit her because corrupt and incompetent simpletons like her have a chance of bluffing and bribing their way into power. However the system favours those with the opportunity to frighten the electorate and to rig the vote and here the Mugabe faction has all the loaded guns and she has nothing. This political reality would make her favour the implementation of ALL democratic reforms.

Her problem with the reforms, again like Tsvangirai, is that she does not have a clue what these reforms are. But worse still, she knows that a simpleton like her would not last the cut and thrash of a truly democratic system.

Let me tell you here and now Mai Mujuru will never support the implementation of all the democratic reforms because she knows she would never last. She would fight hard for the present system and hope to stop Mugabe blatantly rigging the elections and when it comes to using violence she would have her own thugs to slog it out with Mugabe's thugs.

As long as there are no reforms, Mai Mujuru, Tsvangirai and all these other corrupt and incompetent politicians will have a fighting chance. Implement the reforms and there will be no vote rigging and no use of violence; these corrupt and failed leaders will have no chance of winning any election. This is why we in the Zimbabwe Social Democrats are committed to having ALL the democratic reforms implemented and they will be implemented!

@ Tsolo Dube

"The only solution is a new pressure group that aims at refocusing the voter and politician towards demo-cratic standards," you said. I could not agree with you more because that is what the Zimbabwe Social Democrats (ZSD) have said and have been doing all along!

Mugabe, Tsvangirai and the rest of the country's politicians have brainwashed the people into believed they are helpless without the politicians, we in the ZSD believe that the people are not helpless as long as they do their homework and understand the burning issues of the day.

MDC leaders and purged Zanu PF leaders like Rugare Gumbo and Mai Mujuru have found it very difficult to relaunch their political careers because the people are not as naive and gullible as they were in the past. Zimbabweans are beginning to think for themselves.

No Dube, I believe what we in the ZSD have been saying is beginning to make sense and mean a lot to many people! Watch this space!

@ Mbiti is history

Haaaa! So I am talking nonsense because I have said “nothing that will cause reforms to happen”! Are we to therefore assume that your champion, Morgan Tsvangirai has said something that has caused reforms to happen? So why have nothing happened? Tsvangirai had the majority in parlia-ment and cabinet, had five years and “has the balls”, you tell and yet failed to get even one reform implemented. Not one!

“Fambai Save!” But after 15 years on going nowhere do you not think it is time to ask Save if he knows where he is going and not just follow him blindly like sheep to the slaughter!

Let me tell you here and now Tsvangirai will never ever get even one reform implemented because he does not have a clue what these reforms are much less how they should be implemented. Tsvangirai is a corrupt and breathtakingly incompetent village idiot that the nation is rightly ashamed to have ever voted into power.

Mbiti is history, you cannot say you still do not know that Tsvangirai is a certified village idiot. Only a village idiot would follow someone like Tsvangirai now after he has already proven beyond all doubt he is corrupt and incompetent.

Why would the government engaged 9 000 unqualified teachers if there were qualified teachers all along? This is just an excuse for reducing the number of teachers.

This is a regime that has just increased the number of Police, Army and the dreaded CIO by a staggering 10 000 in the last two years, has just built a $200 million Spy University to say nothing of the billions disappearing the plug hole in corrupt Marange diamond deals!

Still the regime can cut the size of the bloated civil service's soft under belly leaving out all those areas where the real criminal waste is taking place; that will do nothing to end the economic meltdown. This regime will sooner than latter come back and face the reality that it has failed to govern and the only solution is regime change!

It sounds like you are the one hiding behind your finger and not Patrick. Patrick has said the values of freedom, justice, liberty, etc. people went to war for have been forgotten and they have; why are you twisting that into a call for war?

"Food food and mabasa kuvana that's what we want!" Unemployment has soared to 90% you moron and your "want" has brought nothing.

We have serious problems of mismanagement and corruptions and so how are we going to talk about these problems without being critical. Patrick has offered the solution - Zanu PF must accept reforms but you did not want to hear it!

It is not only those who fought in the war who have a right to a meaningful say in the governance of Zim-babwe and a fair share of her wealth and riches we all have a right!

Wilbert Mukori is my real name and the photograph above is me mole and all! Why are you hiding behind the assumed name if you are not ashamed of people knowing whom you are?

I agree that Zimbabweans are a peace loving nation but that does not mean they are stupid and blind. They can see Mugabe for the corrupt and murderous tyrant that he is and they are sick and tired of being cheated and abused.

All tyrants claim that the people love them; if Mugabe believed that then he should implement all the reforms and hold free and fair elections!

I agree Mugabe and his cronies have a lot to lose by stepping down but what they must also realize is that be hanging on to the bitter end they will lose everything. Mugabe must know that whilst the nation would have turned a blind eye to his family keeping one or two of the looted farms the people will not do so with the 13 or so farms the Mugabes have.

In a country where millions have been forced to live in total abject poverty the extravagancies of Mugabe's birthday parties, wedding parties has left millions choking with anger. When many fathers could not give their daughters even one single decent meal Mugabe has spoiling his with $5 million wedding, a farm with 50 heads of cattle, two storey house, etc., etc. Common sense and common justice demands restitution: Bona got an education worth billions of dollars at taxpayers’ expense, it is only right that she should not be allowed to keep all the looted wealth too!

If the nation is forced to have street riots to achieve regime change then many of Mugabe’s cronies must expect the angry mob to demand instant satisfactions by mitting out punishment on those who had caused them so much suffering and despair. By holding on to power to the bitter end Mugabe and his cronies have per se accepted a bitter end – it is not for them but the people to decide just how bitter that end will be for them!

Many Zimbabweans have use the name of God as an excuse for allowing tyrants like Mugabe to ride roughshod over the nation's hopes and dreams. They prayed for God to do something about it so they did not have to lift a finger.
The Children of Israel had to undertake the arduous 40-year journey from Egypt to the Promised Land and fought many wars along the way. God could have saved them the long journey and fought all their wars for them but He did not because this was something the people could do for themselves.
Stopping the criminal waste of human and material resources by Mugabe and his cronies is something Zimbabweans can and should do for themselves but they are too lazy to. And so they are asking God to do everything, absolutely everything, for them. Well God certainly has better things to do than listen to such frivolous nonsense.

Former VP , Joice Mujuru has dismissed as "outright madness" unrelenting State media reports that she is working with opposition parties, some prominent Zimbabweans and foreign govern-ments to plunge the country into unprecedented chaos in a bid to trigger an early election.

Unsurprisingly, police have not moved to either charge or arrest her and any of her allies, despite the battery of serious allegations that her Zanu-PF enemies, including Mugabe, have consistently and repeatedly thrown at her.

Mujuru said the continuing fixation that her erstwhile Zanu-PF comrades had on her was discon-certing.
Mai Mujuru has been at the heart of this Zanu PF dictatorship for 34 years and clearly has learnt nothing because she should know the regime is always looking for scapegoats for all its and the nation's problems. So she finds Zanu PF’s fixation on her “disconcerting”; what a simpleton! No wonder she has achieved absolutely nothing in all her decades in power, nothing that is expect the looting!

“Zimbabwe is second only to the Congo on the list of the poorest countries in the world, according to figures from the IMF”, wrote Concern Mbira in The Zimbabwean.

“The Heritage Foundation and Wall Street Journal identified Zimbabwe’s economy as one of the most repressed economies in Sub Saharan Africa and in the bottom five of the 2015 Index of Economic Freedom.”

For the last 35 years we have allowed Mugabe to sire and nurture a monster in the form of a ruling elite with an insatiable appetite for political power and for lifestyles of unparalleled luxuries, reaping where they have never sown, and with contemptuous indifference to the suffering and deaths of millions of their fellow country men and women.

The monster has now mature and it is consuming everything and the now has the grim choice to destroy this monster before it destroys the nation. Reforming or taming the animal is now out of the question – how does one reason with people whose hearts and minds have become so twisted they now consider it their right to use brute force to silence the millions whose lives are a living hell-on-earth to protect their privileged lives of obscene luxuries.
