Bloody Belgians at it again - they want ban in trade of Marange diamonds lifted regardless of Mugabe rigged the elections!

Belgium's colonial mentality and total disregard for suffering of the black Africans is a historic fact and, sadly, it is once again coming to the fore. Given half a chance, these bloody Belgians would want to turn Zimbabwe into "Belgian Zimbabwe" just as the had "Belgian Congo"!

Mugabe finance the vote rigging from the wealth generated from the sale of Marange diamonds and now he is building a $200 million Spy University to turn Zimbabwe into a super-duper Police State. Lifting all trade in the country's bloody diamond trade will only help Mugabe accelerate his repressive plans. That is the last thing the long suffering people of Zimbabwe want.

Whilst I will be the first person to acknowledge that Zimbabwe should not be in this mess if it has used the opportunity offered by the imposition of the sanction on Mugabe back in 2002. Sadly the nation had a complete "political amateur" in Morgan Tsvangirai for a leader and the many chances for real change went begging. Still, that is no excuse for the Belgians to start circling Zimbabwe like vultures!

When Belgium was overrun by the Germans during WW2, the rest of the world did not seek a pact with Hitler and share the spoils!

To be fair, the Chinese, CCP leaders and members, would not understand what free and fair elections are all about since they have yet to hold such elections in the country! So, no doubt they would want the ban lifted so they can maximize their profit from looting Zimbabwe's diamonds!

Human Rights Watch, a leading International human rights organisation, has written to Robert Mu-gabe, urging him to “correct the mistakes of the past” and prioritise the fundamental freedoms of the nation in his new term in office. This is just a wish list item that will never be realized.

Granting the ordinary Zimbabweans their fundamental rights and freedoms is not the last thing Mugabe mind; it is not there! It was on his list the last five years but that was only because SADC had forced it down his throat and he has undertaking was to ensure the so called mistakes were never put right.

It turned out that he really did not even have to fight to ensure none of the GPA democratic reforms saw the light of day. Tsvangirai and his MDC party did not even try to get any reform implemented. The latter’s breath-taking incompetence has become legendary.

Now with no GPA pressure to force Mugabe to accept democratic reforms it is naïve to think that the tyrant would want to do this of his own conviction and sense of justice. He has no sense justice and the only thing he has ever wanted and believed in is seeking and retaining absolutely power at all cost!

@ Mavheti

It is the corruption, looting, vote rigging and political repression that affect everything and everyone; you nincompoop!

You CIO agents are getting carried out with the results of the elections - the rigging was too easy and so you are beginning to think that every Zimbabweans must be as stupid as Tsvangirai and all his MDC idiots! Well think again!

How many millions has Mugabe paying you CIO agents; you are everywhere now!

The windfall from Marange diamonds should be fuelling the rebuilding of the nation after decades of mismanagement, corruption, looting and ruthless repression. Instead it is being wasted on vote rigging foreign expects and these CIO morons! What a criminal waste of resources!

"God bless Zimbabwe!" How could He whilst the nation has a murderous tyrant for head of state!

@ Zimbabwe

It was the people of Zimbabwe who were going to decide who would rule Zimbabwe and Mugabe short-circuited that by rigging the elections. That is unacceptable and the whole world must reject Mugabe imposing himself on the people by imposing sanctions against the tyrant!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Zimbabwe

It is not my "subjective view"! It is the democratic view and tyrants like Mugabe must be forced to accept that vote rigging is totally unacceptable, period.

Mugabe is spending millions paying you idiots to spruce up his sewer rat image. Mugabe is a sewer rat and no PR can change that!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Zimbabwe

"See you in 2018"? So you think Mugabe is going to remain in office for that long. You are being presumptuous; the sewer rat is going to regret he rigged these elections because he is going to be treated like the sewer rat he is!

Mugabe is wasting time and money paying morons like you to sell a sewer rat as a statesman! That is not going to happen.

This show is not over until the nation is allowed to hold free and fair elections!

@ Bunty

Mugabe rigged the elections because he is fearful of being asked to account for all the innocent blood on his hands. Well if he thought the world will just accept his vote rigging then he will soon know that the world is tired of sewer rats like him!

It is Mugabe who should hang along with the morons who has been doing his dirty work for him.

Mugabe is hoping he will die and escape the hangman's rope. How about you, do you think you too will escape?

@ Chimbwido

"We should be allowed space to develop our country at our own pace, full stop," you say. Your self-righteousness is insufferable!

Who is "we"? For 33 years Mugabe and his thugs and cronies have systematically and ruthlessly denied the overwhelming majority of Zimbabweans the basic human rights and freedoms includ-ing the right to a free vote and the right to life itself. The issue before us is one of Mugabe bla-tantly rigging the elections and thus, once again denying the people a say in the governance of the country.

It is only Mugabe, his cronies and thugs who have had the "space" to decide what happened to Zimbabwe.

As for your claim of "developing our country"; do you call mismanagement, corruption and looting that has resulted in the total economic melt-down and throwing millions into a life of abject power, development. If you call the cold blooded murder of over 30 000 innocent Zimbabweans development then yes Zimbabwe has been developing!

No amount of cheap propaganda from morons like you Chimbwido and all the CIO agents, paid for using wealth looted from Marange diamond, will change the fact that Mugabe rigged the elections. No amount of very costly and sophisticated sprucing up of Mugabe's image by PR companies is UK and USA can turn that sewer rat into a statesman.

One can fool the blind into believing there is no maize in their rice dish but not so with salt and pepper!

The whole world Mugabe has never held free and fair elections ever since he came to power and they saw the blatant vote rigging with their own eyes splashed on TV and on the internet! They have known Mugabe for decades and there is no room for giving him the benefit of the doubt; they know he is a sewer rat!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Ruwa

Why should he go hang, because he/she said the truth?! The sewer rat who rigged the election should be the one who should go hang.

Mugabe loves globe-trotting. Have you notice that since the rigged elections the only globe-trotting he has done is visit Malawi. He knows that the world considers him a sewer rat and will treat him accordingly and so to avoid it, he is staying put!

Well the next five years are going to be hell-on-earth for him. Even the Chinese are going to avoid him like the diseased sewer rat he is; they will continue to fly plane loads of Marange dia-monds but will not care for the sewer smell of his company!

SADC and the AU have tried to sell the 2013 elections as an improvement from the 2008 elec-tions; Mugabe rigged the elections but did not use the wanton violence. Of course it was foolish; Mugabe was supposed to hold free and fair elections. The fact that Mugabe was able to buy the services of sophisticated but unscrupulous Israelis, for example, to rig the elections and thus dispense with the need to use violence is not the point.

Now SADC have committed themselves to this position by endorse the Zimbabwe elections as “generally credible” they must now know that was a foolish thing to say. No doubt many of them will from now on keep away from Mugabe when at all possible.

Yes stay at home Mugabe; you can pretend that you are too busy to travel. It is better that the world should speculate on the certainty of you being treated like a sewer rat than for you to travel and remove all the doubt! In a way Mugabe has hang himself by rigging the elections; being treated like a sewer rat – even if one knows that they are one is hard, especial for one masquerading as a great statesman!

Well so far the revenue from Marange diamonds has gone straight into Mugabe and his cronies' pockets. Since Mugabe rigged these last elections, a clear and unambiguous statement saying he is not democratically accountable to the people of Zimbabwe it is therefore self-evident that corruption and looting will continue as before. Or to put it more plainly, Mugabe and his cronies will continue to pocket the revenue coming from the sale of Marange diamonds and all the other resources of Zimbabwe.

Worse still, Mugabe used the loot from Marange diamonds to pay the individuals who spend the day going from one polling station to another voting for Mugabe and Zanu PF, to pay the buses who ferried the multiple-voters around, to pay the Israelis who hatched the sophisticated vote rigging plan, etc. Again to put it bluntly; Mugabe has used the looted wealth to do mischief.

So lifting the trade ban will allow Mugabe and his cronies to get even more wealth to do even worse mischief! We want the looting and mischief to stop and the ban is one way of doing that!

Lifting the ban on the hope that with increased wealth some will trickle down to the poor and needy is warped logic seeking to ignore the facts and realities on the ground. This is the policy of appeasement that has landed the nation in this mess; because you give a tyrant like Mugabe an inch he will ask for three feet, he will take ten feet and will be back tomorrow to take a mile!

Zimbabwe is not going to get out of this political and economic mess as long as tyrants like Mu-gabe remain in power – that is a fact. Giving him even more loot will only encourage the sewer rat to make its nest in State House!

No one who has not been elected by the people of Zimbabwe through free, fair and credible elections can hold any public office, especially the office of the state president. Mugabe rigged the 31 July 2013 elections and therefore he is NOT legitimate head of state, period!

@ Buntyboy

The whole world saw the voters who were bussed in to vote , even ZEC has acknowledge hundreds of thousands of voters were denied the vote and yet 27 out of the 210 constituencies had 70% plus voter turnout. Chipinge East had 141% voter turnout. There was blatant vote rigging and you are in denial.

You are paid and paid well to falsify the facts and reality but even the Nazi propagandists guru Josef Goebbels can do anything in this case much less a certified nincompoop like you!

Mugabe rigged the elections, the whole world knows that and will treat him like a sewer rat that he is!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Ruwa

Zimbabwe was crippled by 33 years of mismanagement, corruption and the all-out looting spree of the last 13 years.

You lot used some of the looted wealth to rig the elections and now you are hoping the whole world will "move" over and allow you to continue with the corruption and looting. Well Tsvangirai and his incompetent MDC friends have certainly moved over but if you think you will bamboozle the rest of the world as readily as you did Tsvangirai; then you have another thing coming!

You are not going to continue the corruption and looting.

This is the new rule book: No one, absolutely no one, is going to occupy public office unless they have been dually elected in a free, fair and credible elections. Mugabe rigged the elections; we all know it and so he is not the legitimate head of State!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Chimbwido

You laugh at everything Chimbwido especially those things involving the suffering and deaths of innocent people.

Mugabe rigged the elections, we all saw the voters being bussed in to vote, for example. The Police did nothing to investigate who those voters were (of course they knew they had been bussed in) and yet the same Police were quick to arrest Komichi for finding a discarded ballot paper!

Mugabe thought he would rig the elections and the whole world will shrug its collective shoulder and forget about it. Well he is shocked that that two months later the world is still refusing to ac-cept him as the legitimate head of state. The sewer rat label is sticking and there will be no SADC to get him off the hook this time!

Mugabe thinks he is clever, let us see how he is going to get out of this mess. Now let us hear you laughing, Chimbwido! Louder; I cannot hear you!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Ngal

I would agree with your argument to move on - on one condition will the mismanagement, corruption, looting and political repression end? Of course not! It will get even worse!

The only way Zimbabwe can ever stop the mismanagement, corruption, looting and political repression is by having a government that is elected and therefore democratically accountable to the people of Zimbabwe.

The fact that SADC blessed a fraudulent election is of no consequence. SADC can call the Zimbabwe elections whatever they please, the fact and the reality will still remain that Mugabe rigged the elections!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ Ruwa

@ Ruwa

We must have the democratic reforms implemented and then we must hold fresh, free and fair elections! Resigning ourselves to another five years to corruption, looting and brutal political repression is suicidal!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ kirigidi

Who elected Tsvangirai? There will be fresh free and fair elections; whoever is elected then will be the head of state. It is not for you, me or anyone to say who should be and should not be head of state. It is for the people to say in a free, fair and credible elections!

What is totally unacceptable is some sewer rat rigging elections and think it can be head of state! That is a no no! And we must send that message loud and clear as a bell!

Zimbabwe Light said...

@ mavheti

I am a sell-out because I said Mugabe rigged the elections and he did no such thing or am I a sell-out because I have dared to say it out loud what you and everyone knows happened?

This is one truth that is not going to be swept under the carpet and forgotten. Never. Zimbabwe deserve a proper head of state and not a sewer rat who will be shunned by the whole world and drag this nation into even deeper economic and political trouble.

Those who think we should allow this tyrant to rule one more day are the real fools! 33 years of this Zanu PF tyranny is more than enough!

Zimbabwe Light said...

Mugabe rigged the elections confident that he would get away with it. Now he is just beginning to realize that he is NOT going to get away with it. The dead weight of legitimacy after rigging elections is weighing Mugabe down.

After the sham 2008 elections SADC got him off the hook by proposing the GNU. This time SADC have given him the rope with which to hang himself; they "generally" credible endorsement of his rigged elections was good enough for SADC to wash their hands off Mugabe but not good enough to earn him the international legitimacy. And now, the SADC leaders have left Mugabe to face the music all alone.

The international community, for their part, have made it clear they do not accept the elections were free and fair and left it at that as if they want Mugabe to stew! Meanwhile he has remained cooked up in Zimbabwe fearful of going out of the country and be given the cold shoulder!

If Mugabe was sure appointing MDC members into his cabinet would appease his critics and gain him international brownie points and legitimacy, he would appoint them straight away. He does not want to do it and then have the gesture thrown back into his face as a cheap bribe! Still he has delayed appointing his cabinet to give himself some wriggle room.

The international community, led by the West, has had enough of this upstart Mugabe and, this time, they clearly have no intention of letting him off the hook at all. They know he is hooked well and proper; they will reel him in slowly, painfully slowly!
